Mike can design and make cabinets from scratch in his shop using a variety of wood species, as well order top quality customized cabinets from various high-end suppliers too. With available options and materials for kitchen and bath cabinetry being virtually limitless, the experience of redesigning a kitchen project can be easily overwhelming for most. He was patient when we needed time to make decisions and always gave helpful, honest advice when we needed it. He's incredibly knowledgable about every aspect of home renovation and we felt like he was always keeping our best interests at heart throughout the renovation. He really went above and beyond to make sure every detail was taken care of. At our final walkthrough, he had already caught and planned to address things we hadn't even noticed. And secondly--and most important--Sharper Image ACTUALLY care about customers being happy with their services. I hired Sharper Image to dig up 4 trees which despite ArborCare services were in decline due to very poor soil and drainage conditions. The trees were dug up, to enlarge holes and berm them higher so that roots sat above wet spots and had more and better quality soil in which to expand. About a week following this service, the Delmarva area was hit with heavy rain. When the rain subsided, 3 of the 4 trees were fine, but one had sunk down to its original grade, likely because the soils had not been adequately compacted prior to backfilling. I took photos of all 4 trees and sent them to Sharper Image with a request they remedy the situation without any additional cost to me. To my very pleasant surprise co-owner, Keith, said: "No problem. I'll send the guys back out to fix it." And he did. No fuss. No haggling. Just doing the right thing. The workers came back, dug up that tree again, added more soil, used a hand tamping tool to compact soil before replanting the tree. I could not have asked for more. So.... if any homeowners out there have need for similar service, then Sharper Image is your firm. With Sharper Image "customer satisfaction" isn't just a catchy marketing slogan. They actually mean it!

My husband and I recently built our first home and chose Atlantic Millwork with no hesitation. They were extremely helpful from our first meeting all the way to the end of construction. Being first time home owners, we were worried about how to find a reliable and trustable supplier that would help us through each step. From the first meeting, we knew we had nothing to worry about. Every person in the company we came into contact with went out of the way to make sure our questions were answered and ask how they could help in any way. It's one thing to have this excellent of service, but even better that the products they sell are of such high quality. From the the front door our guests walk through, to the stairs they walk up, to our beautiful kitchen cabinets-- we love everything we have bought from Atlantic Millwork. I've dealt with Atlantic Millwork & Cabinetry for years now, and they always have the products, which is important, but they also have the people and people skills to not only 'get the job done' but to get it done in a way that leaves everyone pleased with the result. Atlantic did a major kitchen remodel 7 years ago, and everything still looks perfect. More recently, Vincent was extremely helpful with a specialty flooring order and the delivery team was very knowledgable, understanding the importance of an indoor / climate controlled space for material storage, so they took the time and trouble to carry the order indoors for us. Good news the granite is in looks great. The bad news it was not done in a timely manner. Information given upon deposit was not even close to the reality. Communication was not forthcoming. I am still not sure who was at the root of the problem, Atlantic Millwork or the granite installer they contract ( Counter Intelligence). The people at Atlantic were polite, but not good with keeping us informed. Counter Intelligence people were not willing to take responsibility for their end. Not a good experience would not recommend either company. The only reason for a star is it is required for submission. read more
