Hoping to find open stock FIestaware in my colors I made my pilgrimage to Kitchen & Company. While I didn't find the Fiestaware pieces I was searching for I did enjoy strolling the aisles and was excited to find my Henckles Four Star knives (which I think are discontinued) in stock. I also eyed up all of the Lodge Cookware and they seem to carry the full line. After doing some pursuing I left with a new knife and a few other items. Overall it was a nice little shopping trip.

I'm not one for kitchen gadgets (which I would define as a kitchen tool that only has a single purpose and is seldom used) but for those who are there are plenty to pick from like a kale chopper, chopstick holders, herb scissors, strawberry stem remover, turkey lifters and other assorted things that I'm not interested in. They also have some more substantial and practical things too like refurbished Kitchen Aide stand mixers and VItamixes. If I need something basic for the kitchen this is an ok place to shop but I think I can do just as well at Target.

I DO NOT recommend doing business with this company. I just spent a year trying to get a small…read morekitchen completed. Everything they did was substandard. The design was wrong -- measurements were off. The installation was wrong and never corrected. They ordered the wrong cabinets and I had to wait for new cabinets to come in while others sat in my kitchen floor for almost a year. There was a lot of turnover -- my designer was either fired or quit before the job started. No one bothered to tell me that. No one stepped up to oversee and really monitor the job. I had to continually stay after them to make progress. At one point, I had to actually dispute the credit card payment I made to them to get them to even respond. They tried to blame poor work on subs (which they subcontracted) and on material delays -- which were worsened by the fact they ordered incorrectly to begin with. The only thing I can say they were on top of was charging my credit card the minute they could. I cannot recommend doing business with this company. If you feel compelled, do NOT sign their standard contract or agree to their standard contract terms. Make sure you withhold a meaningful amount of money until they have completed a substantial amount of the installation. Their current terms reflect about 90% of the entire payment the day the materials arrive. Once you make that payment, you have 0 leverage to get them to complete the work and insure some degree of professional workmanship. Others may have had a good experience with the company. It's possible that my job was the one that got away. But the measure of a company's integrity is not whether they ever have a mistake or an issue BUT how they deal with it when they do. I give them 0 stars for accountability and integrity.

They made drinks, appetizers and dessert pre prepped for us. Our main instructor Chef Christina was incredibly sarcastic and witty. There was a couple that was annoying AF (but this is Atlantic City what can you expect) so she had to continuously say, "if you're still LISTENING." I'm sure it gets frustrating for a professional team so if you're signing up for a COOKING CLASS be sure you're ready to LEARN to cook. Ignore the momo's. Chef Vincenzo is straight out of Italy and will teach you right at your table if you're not prepping properly which I enjoyed incredibly so be sure to make some mistakes! The class was so much fun and the food was delicious. They gave us a packet with all of the recipes and we got to keep the aprons. Can't wait to come back!

If I could give this experience 6 stars I would…read more I have always passed by the beautiful Viking cooking school any time I stayed or visited Harrahs and always wished I had made prior plans to try it out (classes book fully in advance, so by the time you are there only if your super lucky will you get a spot) for our anniversary we decided to plan way ahead and attend the 11/19/18 class. If you are a group of two, you will be placed with another group of two. Groups of four were together. This gave us a chance to chat and get to know another couple which was really cool. There is a welcome cocktail, but besides that only wine with dinner as a safety precaution - fire, sharp knives and intoxication probably don't go so well together. As we entered the kitchen, we were welcomed with a cocktail and a pre made app to munch on (think crackers and a home made dip or bruschetta) then we went over the menu and started prepping. Everyone was SO nice. Any questions or curiosity's were answered. Great sense of humor, we laughed and joked through out the whole evening. Only criticism I have, would be them having a bit more ingredients to work with. For instance the app was a pepper salad, so there were two peppers for the four of us. Shallots were called for in our smoked mushroom bisque and there was only one shallot. We worked it out well because we became friends with our partnered couple - but I could see this being harder if people or couples prefer to work to themselves. Overall the experience was out of this world. Something that I rave about to everyone.l and can't wait to try again. They also mentioned that they do private party's of groups 12-16! This would be a blast with a group.
