Konstantina gave me an express Keratin Treatment right before my vacation and it was an absolute godsend. Completely taming all frizz for a month of sailing, swimming, and laziness in the sun. Amazing job by Konstantina for my 4 1/2 year old. It was the first time we were not at a kids themed salon and my daughter went right with Konstantina for the wash and didn't need me for that, the cut or blow dry. Holy cow was this a good find! Rainy day down newbury street and I come across a cute little sign for Pathos salon I happen to fall upon this cute Greek salon in its first week of opening. The owner has been on Newbury street for 10+ years and this is her first solo venture. The space: this place is bright and modern yet very Nordic interior design. I love it, a Instagram photo op dream I came in for a color ( full highlight ) I was placed with the owner and she sat me down and we had a brief chat on my hair history. I not only learned so much on how to maintain my hair better based on the service I was getting but she also taught me some cool tips for at home styling. Konstantina did an excellent job with my balayage and blunt cut! I have had a lot of balayages but I think hers was the best! I'm leaving this review again because yelp didn't recommend my first one. So I guess I need to post it on Google. I made an appointment online to have a keratin treatment, color and a haircut with Konstantina. The online booking process was very easy to use! The salon called me to confirm a few details and when I arrived on Wednesday there was plenty of easy street parking on Newbury. The salon is brand new and beautiful. I particularly love the orchids in the front window. When I arrived, Konstantina offered me a drink and she was wonderful! We talked through what I was looking for, wanted a keratin but wanted to keep my waves, and she was very thorough in explaining the process. Everything about the treatment was easy and I was able to work on my laptop while I waited for the keratin and color. My hair looked incredible when she was finished, But the real test was how did it look a few days later when I was doing it and it still looked amazing!! Highly recommend Konstantina! read more

Konstantina is the best hair colorist I have ever been to, hands down. I've tried so many to get the right shade of blonde balayage and she is the first person to get it 100% what I wanted. No yellow or brass, just a beautiful shade and loved her technique to make the color pop yet look natural. Don't go here, especially if you want to be overcharged for half-ass work. I was serviced by Konstantina last year and I've never had worse customer service. You'd think if you're getting a 2-4 hour service done your stylist would at least try to talk to you. The whole time she had this stuck up attitude as if it was a bother to her to work on my hair. Then told me that because my hair was naturally black I couldn't get the light brown balayage results that I wanted, and it would turn out brassy. When detangling/washing my hair, she aggressively brushed my hair, pretty sure she yanked out a bunch. All of this to get a uneven, brassy, balayage. Newbury street has a bunch of better options, do not go here for your services. I ended up being charged $400 for a balayage and haircut. Not worth it. She only cares about your money, not you or your hair! read more
