I want to give 5 stars but I also felt misled simply because a good chunk of my length was lost from this and it was not worth the price paid for. It does not sit well with me. The reason I gave 3 stars instead of 4 was because the way my ends were cut were chopped off. They weren't trimmed. They were just chopped off. That'd be okay if I weren't charged $400. $400 charge was to maintain my length, but wasn't. UPDATE: Edited mine to 4 stars because I really do love the color. Sam did an amazing job with my color. My two "regulars" for the past few years have been Nate for cut / color and Ashleigh for color. I love that the shop keeps your card on file with the history of what colors/styles you've had done so they can go back and review for any changes or things you want to try. You can read my original review for a more detailed explanation of why I rated this business as such, and read below for my response to the owner. 4/29: I received my money back from StyleSeat (the app they use to charge people) and that should have been the end of our correspondence. Businesses of course do not like bad reviews, and because of this review (and a similar review on google) "Nicole" the business owner, filled a police report against me to the Boston PD, claiming harassment, despite me having had no interaction with her. I acknowledge that I did get into an argument with her stylist the night my credit card was charged improperly, it was a back an forth heated exchanged (for every message I said, she had an equally argumentative text back), when she stopped responding I waited 24 hours and then gave her notice that I'd be contacting my credit card if I don't receive a response from her, then I sent one last message to the business email and that was the last contact I had with her. (This all took place in a matter of three days from my appointment on 4/9). TO BE CLEAR: I have had zero contact with the salon or its employees since 4/11 but today (4/26) she made a claim of harassment. It is clear that she is attempting to retaliate for the bad reviews. In response to me "changing" my facebook name. I did not change anything. I have two facebooks (I do cosplaying and I have a separate facebook were I put all that stuff). But it was still very obvious that it was me (especially since Yelp uses my legal name and it was the exact same review) I stand by my original review and I had attempted to be as fair as possible to the business by making it clear that I've only had experience with one stylist (Anne-Marie). After getting home I now realize the gloss isn't even and pulled reddish. I did leave without a blow dry out of frustration so in all fairness I'm sure they would have adjusted that had I stayed. But also, I figured it would probably be fine since it's a gloss but not the case. The manager did offer for another appointment with the owner or another stylist but I declined and they did not charge me. Just posting to help another person avoid this.

I was very pleased with his service and the haircut he had given me. Through our conversations, I could tell that he was passionate about his work. Although I asked for an inch trim, he was still meticulous about the cut. I have heard of disaster stories of having hair cut too short, but Charlie actually listened to me and gave me exactly what I wanted. My hair looked and felt healthier after the haircut. I have been running my fingers through my hair more often than usual. I was fortunate to be in the hands of Charlie.
