The atmosphere is perfect. The pastries are not only visually appealing, but also absolutely delicious. LOVE coming here.

Patagonia is very cozy and eclectic with a mix of quirkily mismatched couches, tables, high tops, and booths. Upon entry from the free parking lot in the back, you're immediately tempted by the enormous diner-like dessert case, which I managed to resist on this particular occasion. While called a coffee house, it's got more of a restaurant vibe since they offer an extensive food menu. It's also conducive to working since they provide outlets at the low bar-style seating by the window; however, the music they play is pretty loud, so headphones are recommended. I ordered a Cortado to stay but got it in a to-go cup, which felt a bit wasteful. The coffee tasted over-roasted or maybe it was the way the shot was pulled, but I'm going to try a different coffee option next time. The place was extremely busy with almost every seat taken by 11am so I'm looking forward to giving it another try. I love that's it's open late (until 7p Tuesday-Sat, closed Monday & until 5p on Sunday), and they have so much seating. Here's the deal: i'm really excited for this place. It is exactly What Main St., Hackettstown needs. The layout & decor are fresh clean with a cozy feel! The service was very attentive and helpful and the owner is very hands-on, which is wonderful to see. I think they're still working through some of the operational kinks, but I will definitely be back to Enjoy Main St., Pakistan passing by and their delicious menu **note** the place was very busy, but I scrubbed out the patrons for privacy issues in all the photos. read more

Coffee is great, bakery items are AMAZING (I recommend the cheese danish) and the ambience is awesome - something Hackettstown needed! Taking orders is a little slow, but hey, you can enjoy the surroundings while you wait. I will be coming here often. read more

We checked out the new @patagonia_coffeehouse in #HackettstownNJ this morning. It did not disappoint. Our latteswere delicious and the pastries were just as good and very fancy. We noticed a lot of heartier lunches going passed us looked amazing. Presentation is really important here. Patagonia is a cozy spot with a lot of comfy living type areas. Everyone is really on the ball, very courteous and helpful. Finally got around to trying Patagonia Coffee House and it did not disappoint! Latte was delicious as was the blueberry scone and what would describe kind of a pandebono type roll. Hard a hard time deciding as everything looked delicious. Will definitely be back. read more

The food was good. However the service is atrocious. They make excuses for everything. They won't allow you to place an order because they have "a line". Like seriously!?! They won't let you place orders for pick up on the weekend. We tried to eat in and we received the wrong drinks twice and then had to go up more than once to finally receive our food and some of it was cold!! read more

It's nice to see a new place open on Main Street. I write this review in hopes of helping the owners stay a long time. 1. We had two pastries. A red velvet cookie and a fruit tart. The cookie tasted very old, a couple of days and dry. The fruit tart tasted old as well. The fruit was mooshy, the filling artificial tasting and the pie shell was brittle and stale. 2. We had an omelette and the salmon toast. The omelette was cold even though it just came out. The potatoes were good! The plain bread is good. The salmon toast was unappetizing. Sweet bread, a container of cream cheese with no seasoning, warmish salmon and balsamic glaze. Sweet on top of sweet and a mooshy texture throughout. Would have loved it to be a crunchy toast and savory dish! 3. Drinks were good! Was shocked that an iced chai was 7$ for a small. The most expensive chai for the size I've ever purchased ever. At the end we spend 58$ before tip. We will be back to keep trying. Notes for improvement. Shrink the menu down, make things fresh, taste and improve your recipes. Don't try to do too much! Place is superrrr cute and the pastries are amazing!!! Whoever is the baker is super talented. The pastries are sooo creative. I'd say it is pretty expensive. And also the matcha... I was sooo disappointed in the matcha. The taro matcha was flavorless. I didn't taste matcha or taro. Just like milk and I love taro. Anyways I will come back to this place bc everything else was pretty good, but I'm not getting the matcha again read more

Great ambiance, great pastries, great menu! Always packed. Parking in the back. They also serve breakfast into the afternoon.

I have been here twice so far. The pastries that I have had have been very good but the coffee, not so much. The menu is large and offers a nice selection but I think the product suffers. The ordering system is also not great. I ordered an iced vanilla latte to go and I was handed a hot vanilla latte to stay. It was remade but it wasn't great. It is loud in there so it is hard for the workers to hear the customers and I think some more customer service training could be useful. The first time I was in I had ordered a pastry that was totally forgotten by the guy working behind the counter until I asked for it 10 minutes later. read more

The desserts are without equal in Hackettstown or even the surrounding area. They are fresh and delicious and made with expertise I've not seen out of areas with a lot more people. I just wish that the coffee (I ordered black dark roast) was served hotter and not in glass mugs that quickly conduct the heat away making the coffee even cooler. If they up their coffee game they will be without equation all of northwest NJ as far as what I have tried. Keep up the good work. read more

Amazed with this new business in downtown Hackettstown. A well built location with an excellent handicap ramp and rear entrance, I noticed their kitchen has a serious exhaust setup. The warm interior is decorated like a living room with various sized tables, couches, lounge chairs and booths, decorative wallpaper, scenic photos and framed art. It is self-ordering from a placard menu of numerous specialty coffee, lattes and matchas on one side and a list of tasty looking sandwiches, omelets, pastries, bread, pancakes, salads and other succulents on the flip side, Servers delivery the food orders. I had a croissant BLT, small signature caramel latte and a bite of someone's tart. Absolutely scrumptious. Just eyeing their desserts in the display case is worth the visit. Great location for breakfast, brunch, lunch, coffee break, dinner or dessert. Patagonia stands head and shoulders above all the other coffee places I ever visited and will be a repeat patron. read more
