I had the Wed special turkey with stuffing and cranberry . It was fresh and I enjoyed it but the side of fried zucchini with ranch dressing was the star. The lite batter was crispy without being greasy. It was so good I ate it all and took most of the rest home. Easy parking will make it easy to come back

I started with the orzo tomato spinach soup with feta ($3.99). I wasn't sure what to expect as I get a pasta salad done similarly but I can tell you that I was highly impressed with the tomato based broth, the depth of the broth, creamy consistency of the orzo and pieces of fresh spinach. A side of crumbled feta accompanied it to toss in - and it definitely added to the flavors!!! I originally came here for the fried catfish - and it did not disappoint! Two pieces of fish, two sides (collards and broccoli cheese) and hushpuppies was $16.99. I had originally gotten the squash but I'm not a fan of breaded and fried. My server was gracious and let me swap it out. My service was quick, my server was the absolute sweetest and I'm already trying to figure out my next visit!

We enjoyed another Groucho's location several months ago and when we saw this one in Statesville…read morewhile looking for a place to stop for lunch, I think the car may have just driven us here to keep us happy, lol! We started with a couple of Dr. Brown's diet cream sodas which were tasty and refreshing. In my effort to eat better, I ordered the Chicken Power Salad with Danish Bleu dressing and without cucumber, while Hubby ordered a Big Dipper sandwich with no pickle. The salad was fresh, crunchy and filling, and Hubby enjoyed his sandwich with chips. Charity did a great job making sure we were taken care of and brought us additional cream sodas. One other thing I like about Groucho's Deli is the opportunity to donate a meal through the partnership they have with GiftAMeal. It's such an easy thing to do to help people in need.

My family stopped here on a road trip and I was pretty disappointed…read more We came right at opening and it was pretty quiet, but it was definitely bustling by the time we left. Our server did a pretty mediocre job, if I'm being real - she took our orders and delivered the food but pretty much didn't check on us for the entire meal, and I ended up having to take my trash to the front counter to get rid of it, since no one was bussing the table. I got the Chicken Power Pita and I was underwhelmed with it. The pita was soggy and cold, and everything inside felt mushy and a bit flavorless. My wife's roast beef sandwich was also extremely lacking, although she did like the bread. Weirdly, she wanted lettuce, tomato, and onion on it, and the server told us that they didn't offer onion. Why does a deli not have sliced onion for its sandwiches? On the positive side, my father-in-law really liked his chili. Because we got there so early, we found parking on the street, but I'm not sure how easy it'd be to find parking if you came during normal lunch hours. Inside the restaurant, it had standard deli vibes. I would definitely not come back here if I was stopping in Statesville for lunch.
