Pastrami on rye with yellow mustard
Steve V.

I carried out a pastrami on rye with yellow mustard from Pastrami Dan's in Naples today. As good a pastrami sandwich I've had since my visit to Katz's Deli New York City. They slice a generous amount of pastrami and stack it on the rye and serve it with a pickle slice. The pastrami was very lean and flavorful. If you like a good pastrami, make sure you hit up Pastrami Dan's in Naples. It's been an institution in Naples since 1975.

Pastrami and roast beef with dipping gravy. Pastrami was my favorite over the two.

Pastrami sandwich is fantastic. Quality meat, cooked perfectly, shaved thin. I tried the roast beef as well. Flavorful, served with a deep, dark gravy for dipping. It was good, however, I personally prefer roast beef to be very rare, so going forward I'm sticking with the pastrami. Size wise, good portion but not large enough to share. 2 sandwiches, 2 chips and one water was $41. Cash only. There is parking but it is really difficult to get in an out. Don't be scared away if you see a few folks in line. The team that works here is efficient and the line moves very quickly.

Stopped in for lunch today. Fantastic pastrami sandwich! Very simple and high quality! Would definitely recommend!

Terrific for what they do. Consistently good. The pastrami is hot and delicious. Try the Cole slaw. If you don't want pastrami don't bother

The best pastrami outside of New York! Honestly if you don't like this place, you're probably a bad person.

Taco Lindo - East Naples, Florida…read more Taco Lindo is a small Mexican restaurant tucked into a shopping center in East Naples, and it's absolutely worth finding. Don't let the modest exterior fool you -- the food is outstanding. I ordered the American tacos, and they were superb. Fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned meat, and great flavor in every bite. Everything tasted homemade and authentic, not rushed or overly commercial. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming -- exactly what you want from a neighborhood Mexican spot. If you're in East Naples and craving quality tacos, Taco Lindo delivers. I'll definitely be back.

We were served warm chips and flavorful salsa by our server, and the Mexican coke I got was a treat. The menu has a good selection of breakfast options, appetizers, Mexican tacos, Gordita's, quesadillas, burritos and other favorites. The chicken chimichanga I ordered was served with a tasty cheese sauce, a side of rice, beans and salad. The salad has a generous amount of guacamole, so if you like avocados, you'll be happy. Hubs got the chicken burritos and after trying a sample, I have to admit they're good, but different from burritos covered with red or green sauce. Portions are large, and I really like the hot sauce bar at the table, you have a choice of a lot of different flavors to make your meal more interesting. Prices are reasonable and the restaurant is clean with a pleasant atmosphere. An enjoyable place to have lunch.

My wife and I had been here before & it was wonderful so it pains me to write this review; friendly, cheerful waitress, great service & the food was delicious. Not so much this time. It was crowded but we got a table right away. It took about 15 minutes for our drink order to come out, but it was kinda busy. After about another half hour, one of our four meals came out; then it was crickets. Our waitress never came back to the table; no one else made eye contact with us. We saw at least a dozen meals delivered to tables after we got our one meal, but no other meals or contact with us. After 20 minutes of waiting for the other 3 meals we cut our losses and went to the counter and asked for the bill. A man (appeared to be the owner) brought the bill out & offered a half hearted apology but no offer to comp us for the drinks (it looks like they did not charge for the meal we got). I realize things happen, but had this man (manager?) just apologized for what happened & told us that we owed nothing I honestly would have been ok with it and not even taken the time to write this review. However that wasn't the case. Like I said, our previous experience was great, so here's my recommendation: If they are not busy I'd suppose you will have a great experience; if busy you might want to pass...

It was nice to sit outside but I think our server forgot about us for a while... The quesabirria and fajitas were very good, but everything else was lowkey a skip. She was attentive and efficient. The food she suggested: elote, very good! We did get the guac and chips too to use the chips with the elote. That was the problem. The guac was somewhat tasteless, but the chips were very bad. They tasted like they were made in old rancid oil and they make them onsite. They even smelled like old oil. We let her know and she brought a new batch. Still tasted bad. We suggested her to try them and she did and agreed they were not up to par. I felt the grease even coated my tongue. The cornbread was excellent. Because the chips were so bad we got the guac and rest of the elote to go so we can eat at home with some good chips. We got the bill and even though they agreed they weren't as good as normal they still charged us for everything. That is a problem. She should have had them take them off the bill. We still tipped 18% but that isn't good when they don't make it right. We may give them another chance but still charging males that less likely for sure.
