I posted a great review for them, based on ordering the exact same thing, on February of 2025. It had been a while since I ordered from them so apparently they changed how they do things... good to know not to order again. I am not a fan of reheated pasta and I cannot eat a vat of pasta in a sitting. I discovered I could order a kid size fettuccine alfredo. I always order a side of spinach and a meatball. I was disappointed in everything but flat out shocked at the meatball. The 'side' of spinach in the pasta. There were maybe 3 leaves of spinach and they charged me $1 per leaf. The pasta had almost no flavor. At least there was a side of parmesan because it added a little bit for flavor on the noodles but I did not bother eating much. I figured I would eat some of the bread. The side of garlic bread was cooked to complete hardness... I appreciate it toasted, but when my fillings are struggling because it's like biting down on a rock... that's not toasted, that's burnt. Which brings me to the meatball which was genuinely split completely open and the meat really looked terrible... like weirdly cooked. Since it was delivered, many would say that the delivery person literally opened the meatball but no... it was sealed by the restaurant and considering it's sitting on top of the pasta - it was 'placed' there intentionally. I cannot imagine someone in a kitchen that serves meals to patrons dumping it in there unless they were assuming that since it's a kid's meal, no one's gonna care. Stuff like that really does make me mad to where I don't think I'm going to order from this restaurant again. That does make me sad because this is the only place that really does Italian food and offers a lot of vegetables you can get with your meal but being charged $17 for a tiny box of food that looks like this. My friend and I decided to stop by here for a catch up while our kids were at the movies nearby. I am vegan which doesn't leave a lot of menu items for me, but we did get bread and olive oil. We enjoyed some wine and the bread. The service was good initially and then our server brought the bill. But we weren't done. And then it was like she never came back and it was SO hard to get anyone to pay attention to us. Bummer. They should have a bar. This was my first time at this location, and since it was a weekend, the place was bustling with people specially families. I saw a lot of kids around enjoying their pasta. We were seated and attended to promptly. The food on the other hand,too a long time to come. The staff seemed extremely busy, and it was hard to wave them down. I had a linguine pasta with a Caesar salad and loved it. The bread that comes with the pasta felt a little bit too chewy .I appreciate the lunch menu which has a pasta and a salad or soup option and all at a very reasonable price. Great visit to Pastini yesterday with a friend of many years. I had not been to Pastini for several years, last time about 20 years ago to the restaurant on NE Broadway. They have grown considerably and it is obvious why. My wife and I moved to Seattle for 17 years and since coming back this year, I have had Pastini on my to do list. The restaurant had a perfect vibe. It just felt good. Silvia was terrific. So friendly and understanding of us not having any time constraints. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara with a Caesar Salad. It was on the special lunch menu and was only $13.00. The Carbonara had great flavor and I made the comment to my friend that I could have had that in a "upscale restaurant" and not be disappointed. We've been coming to this location for, literally, years. I've always been a bit lukewarm, but my wife and son like it. It had been a while, so last night I ordered the chicken Cesar salad... couldn't believe what was brought to my table. It was seemingly shrunk by about 40%! I mean there was literally 5 shards of chicken and really, barely a lunch serving for the regular $19 dinner size. My wife immediately commented on it when it came to the table and when I asked the server he was adamant it was the dinner portion. This may be the final straw. I'd be curious if anyone else had experienced something similar recently!? I'm sure we can find other options for Italian going forward Update! The business went out of their way to make amends. It's been awhile since I visited a Pastini. We came here for a quick lunch and liked that they have a lunch special menu which was reasonably priced. The option came with a pasta dish and a side of soup or salad for $13. I had the Linguini with spicy pepperonata chicken and a side of field greens salad. The food was decent and good portion for lunch. I also ordered some garlic bread and marinara sauce to go with it. The service was pretty friendly and the food came out quick. I put in an order to go and 2 of 3 items were not made. Not sure how that happened but they said the system somehow put it on hold. I'm assuming the person who took my order pressed the wrong buttons. The worker who greeted me was very nice and the manager offered a dessert to try and make up for it. Excellent on all levels. Great location and great service. My wife and I found a lot of great options on the menu, and the prices are vey reasonable (though soup or salad are extra). I had the PAPPARDELLE WITH MEAT SAUCE BOLOGNESE and she had the BAKED ZITI WITH ITALIAN SAUSAGE. We were pleased they had gluten free options for my wife (at no extra charge). Both dishes were excellent. My pasta was fresh. You can just tell. Also, the ragu contained chunks of shredded meat (not ground beef). Such great flavor. This is my first time here but I've heard great things since their reopening. We had reservations on a Friday night for a group and we were promptly welcomed and seated towards the front of the restaurant. The vibe is very cozy and romantic, so a great place for a date. Their drinks are so pretty and have seasonal specials as well. There were so many pasta options to choose from but I decided on the spicy sausage one. The portions were generous but some of friends did finish theirs because it was that tasty! Ordered ahead of time for pick up today and waited an additional 10 minutes for my food. Being new to the area I was excited to try out a cute little pasta restaurant but based off how my food came out I'm pretty disappointed I just paid $22 for this. There might be 9 raviolis total here and I'm just not sure how that is justifiable. Not only that but all of the grease or oil completely leaked out of the Togo box leaving the paper bag soaked. Update on my previous review. Talk about a comeback!!! I ordered the following this time. LASAGNA BUTTERNUT SQUASH-GORGONZOLA RAVIOLI KIDS MAC N CHEESE The lasagna was GOOD! It had the right amount of layers and filling. The sauce was fresh and really tasted just right without bitterness or without being too sweet. Next time I will order more sauce on the side because I really wish I had more to dip all the bread into. It was really very yummy. The Butternut Squash WAS TO DIE FOR!!!!! It was decadent!!!! All the flavors bounced off of each other quite perfectly and the ravioli was cooked well. Absolutely DELISH!! I will definitely order this again and again. The nice part was that this dish had some dipping oil that was infused with all the goodness of it's ingredients and I was able to eat all the bread they gave me with this. I was a very happy girl. Lol Kids Mac and Cheese felt really bland to me in comparison to the other dishes. I wonder if it's bland on purpose because it was for kids. I wonder if the main dish tastes the same? Doesn't matter I'm not one to order mac n cheese out because I'm really picky about it and there are just way to many better things to order at a restaurant. I have been ordering from this Pastini for about a year now regularly and if you've ever ordered from here, you know that every time you order you're spending at least 60 bucks for delivery. obviously I don't mind this or I wouldn't keep ordering to a certain.... To a extent that's true at least... I've had some issues in the past with my orders (forgotten added protein, no bread on side, smaller portion of pasta when I add meat not enough sauce etc..) and had some clarifying questions to ask the manager, such as how many bread come with each order complementary and why I don't always get them. She was very receptive took everything I said seriously and let me know that she would take care of any issues caused by her team, but more than that also told me some valuable information which is YOU CAN GET THE SPAGHETTI CARBONARA SAUCE ON THE SIDE IF YOU ORDER THROUGH THEIR WEBSITE INSTEAD OF UBER EATS!! which is huge because I've actually called and complained a few times about not having an extra sauce option on Uber eats for this specific dish but everyone else had the option and then magically it got added after a couple months of that. Shout out to whoever fixed that. I've eaten in here before a couple times also. Usually the don't refill my drink often enough and in general don't have a lot of personality but as long as as I get my food hot and fresh and enough drink to keep me going I'm usually okay. Would love friendly waiters especially because the manager is so nice she makes them look extra... idek a good word for it but they are boring and do the bare minimum (in my experience at least and hey they probs don't make alot of money here so im not expecting like 5star service or anything but im expecting better than what Ive gotten. It was so bad I only left a 18-20% tip every time.) Which makes me sad I love to leave a big tip when I eat in person anywhere that I sit down at. Especially when I order a little drinky drink. We're very excited that Pastini in Cedar Hill Crossing (Beaverton) is open again after last summer's kitchen fire. Our return visit did not go well. While this location was closed we rotated through three other Pastini locations as we are fans of the food and snappy fun service. While the food was familiar we had several issues during our visit tonight, regarding food quality and service level. There's plenty of room for improvement here, let's share our observations. Upon arrival there were many open tables, several of which had not been bussed. People were waiting in the entry area, as two large parties needed seating together, yet the large or moveable tables were already occupied by single guests or couples. We waited about ten minutes to be acknowledged after sitting at a booth. Another wait staff was at both the booths in front and behind us, so we assumed we'd be addressed, we weren't. A couple that came in after us were seated nearby and served first. On the special drinks menu we ordered a "Raspberry Mojito" (and a Breakside beer) . We told waiter Justin we had been waiting a while and he immediately took off to report to the manager, forgetting to take down our drink order. The manager came to see us and apologized for the issue about the undefined server stations, and they all had a huddle near the kitchen. She didn't introduce herself, but had a distinctive butterfly tattoo on her left hand. Right away she offered "free dessert" (Which was not why we were there) That's a weak excuse for issues that should have been ironed out when they did the soft opening ten days earlier. Finally my beer arrived, and some time later the waiter explained that the rum for the Mojito was in the back storage and had to be fetched. Then we were told they had run out and couldn't make that drink. A substitute (Lemon Drop) was requested, but arrived without the expected garnish fruit. We ordered what for us is our "go-to Pastini dinner". The FUSILLI ALLA ROMA with chicken, and TAGLIATELLE WITH MEAT SAUCE BOLOGNESE. Along with an order of PARMESAN BREAD (with dipping Marinara) The bread arrived cold, we had learned to let their hot bread cool, so as it arrived stone cold we sent it back. Our food was good, as expected, and well up to the standards we come to expect for Pastini locations. Next up the manager brought us two free entree coupons, without being asked, and pitched the free dessert again. We shared the COOKIE + GELATO SCOOP. The ice cream was delicious, but the cooking was stale and served cold (menu said warm) Thankfully we were not bringing guests to impress tonight! We were quite close to bolting after the initial delays, but stuck it out. Just too many errors at all levels (seating, serving, not knowing what drinks were available, making excuses, disappointing cold and stale food) Luckily, we have established good rapport at two other Pastini locations, where we will be dining in the future. read more

A couple years ago, Pastini offered great food with exceptional consistency and acceptable portions, but charged an exceptional price. Today, the market has caught up with Pastini, and their prices are now typical. Their food is still great, and as reliable as your grandma's cookware. The potions are large enough to be satisfying without feeling quite "stuffed" -- enough room for dessert! The specials (both seasonal menu items and rotating discounts) are wonderful, with plenty of creativity and value. All this on top of the menu design -- there's only a single dish I wouldn't order at Pastini, and that's because I'm allergic! Pastini is by no means fine dining, but their preparation leaves nothing to be desired, and they confidently strut the line between "casual enough to wear shorts" and "formal enough to bring your boss". I highly recommend stopping by Pastini next time you need a safe bet for a date, have a friend in from out of town, or just want to treat yourself to an inexpensive but high-quality dinner. read more

I am thankful for the BOGO offer! I ordered online and it was very easy! I went after work and had to wait only a bit but the server went to check on my order and reassured me multiple times that it was on the way. I ordered 2 Misto Mare which was a seafood pasta. I got it when it was super fresh and hot from the kitchen. I went home and it was still warm but heated it up a bit more. It came with bread and if you heat that up the outer layer will be crispy again! I liked the linguini texture, nice and not too mushy. There were lots of shrimp and the fish had a nice texture. I was afraid it would be overcooked but it was done nicely and it was a bit firm which was good. The downside was that in the past, this seafood dish also had clams. I haven't had clams in a long time and was hoping this would have it still but they no longer put clams in this pasta dish. So, it's shrimp and fish pasta, not as seafood-ie as I like. It wasn't bad, but I was hoping for clams TT_TT If it wasn't BOGO, this dish would be $18. It was a good portion, but if it was full price...I may try their other pastas. $9 each was a great deal and that made my day! read more

Never again. The food was served so fast (five minutes after ordering) and lacked flavor. Place was packed and that's because they do have a good 13.00 lunch deal but it's just not very flavorful food and so rushed. I never need to add salt to my restaurant food but this time we did. The bread is thrown on the plate with no olive oil, balsamic or butter. Just dry bread. My husband immediately had stomach cramps after his meal and so we rushed home. He ordered carbonara with Caesar. I'm glad I just ordered the tasteless pesto. Not a relaxing environment at all. Waitress moved fast which is fine -- but so fast she wanted my husband's beverage order within one minute of being seated and he was in the restroom. I asked her to just start with serving us water please. Which she did. But everything felt fast, rushed and she was bustling full speed serving tables. My glass of wine was great! I had a mad craving for Italian food yesterday and saw that this place was nearby and they had decent ratings. So we gave it a try. We were able to dine in-I noticed that all the staff wore masks, every other table was closed and the bathroom had a strong bleach smell. In other words, these guys take cleanliness seriously. I appreciate that. My wife and I each ordered off the lunch menu and had appropriately sized meals. I was avoiding dairy, so our server pointed me to the spaghetti with spicy sausage and mushrooms. It was not nearly as spicy as I anticipated, but it was still good. The Italian vegetable soup was a little bland. My wife had the lasagna and said the flavor was very good. She had garlic hanging with her for the afternoon. The service was ok-but we did have to ask for our drinks to be refilled, which took awhile after being acknowledged. Great time, quick efficient service, we both ordered from the lunch menu, we also got a tiramisu - there's enough to share but your might want your own! Our server was fast and gave us the perfect timing between reading the menu and ordering because we were hungry!
