Did not disappoint! Great for a date night, birthday, for taking those visiting from out of town etc We ordered: -Burratta -Short Rib -Rigatoni -Brownie skillet Pro: -Friendly staff that were prompt to provide changes of cutlery without us asking -Standout definitely was the buratta and short rib! There's a reason these dishes are popular. -Brownie skillet was delicious. It has nuts and was crunchy and gooey at the same time -Rigatoni was good! It has a slight kick to it so heads up to anyone who is sensitive to spicy foods Con: -Dark and quite loud inside -Portion for the mains are smaller so I recommend ordering some appetizers too

The food was spectacular. Everything I tasted was rich, well balanced, and just full of fresh flavor. It's my first time going since they moved from Watson but the new space is big. It's dark like the old location but it can seat a ton of folks. I went on a Wednesday night and they had two servers running around with a lot of tables. I think they did a great job.

Beautiful restaurant with pretty lighting albeit dim. Very popular for date nights and celebrations. We got Cabernet 2022 glass and spicy mango margarita both of which were great. For appetizers we ordered oysters which were fresh, polenta fries but that were okay. The lasagna with pork and beef Bolognese was outstanding, pork chops were good too. The waitress was nice and brought out our food promptly even tho the restaurant was full. A great date night experience would go here again to try other menu items.

Who'd believe Chelsea Audio would become a restaurant! Wide open ambience and good service! Steak and appetizers were all good as was the wine.

A hidden gem in Beaverton! I wasn't expecting such a nice restaurant inside that building but it's very elevated inside. Dim lit and pretty chandeliers! Delicious food. The service was great, very attentive to the small details. The s'more's dessert was our favorite!

Great first visit of many to come as we went to Decarli last night. We celebrated Thanksgiving with our daughter as the days ahead will be quite busy. Our server Kristina was terrific. Her timeliness was tremendous. She was so friendly and engaging as well. We wanted to have a slower pace to our meal and Kristina was quite accommodating. We started our meal with three excellent cocktails. A Huckleberry Hound, Royal Hawaiian, and Decarli Manhattan were all quite enjoyable. We split two mixed green salads between the three of us. It was perfectly dressed and quite refreshing. The negative was that Kristina informed us that the kitchen was out of Lasagna, and our daughter had ordered that. She opted for the Maltagliati, and it was perfect. The fresh pasta was so good. My wife had the Tomato/Basil pizza and I had the Short Ribs. All were perfectly prepared. The Bread & Butter that was ordered was nothing special, but still good. The parking was excellent and the vibe in the restaurant is also excellent. We really enjoyed our first experience at Decarli, and will return soon.

We tried their New location. The menu stays the same. The bar is more spacious than the old place. They have a parking space, so no parallel parking, and battle to find a spot. We did order some appetizers: trio and oysters. They were great. Nice atmosphere and is perfect for date night.

Love Decarli! The Food. The Neighborhood Vibe. The Service. Date Night, Happy Hour, or Single @ The Bar, you'll have a good time. Easy parking, big and open floor plan, hip yet darkened romantic atmosphere with the a little more than the usual Portland casual dining. You can wear a t-shirt but come on. Polo or better here please. *Steak Tartare $19 was outstandingly delicious and beautifully presented cubes of beef with the red onion, capers, and herbs to the side. You mix the raw egg and bits together and pile on the peppered crostini. I'd say "perfect". Paired with the Montepulciano this was a great was to start. *Tagliatelle with Boar Ragu $27 was fantastic with a bright, light, but yet still full flavor. A highlight. While it lasts pair with the 2020 Domaine De La Mavette a Rhone blend. Thank DJ & Decarli you for filling my eyes, heart, and stomach. I will keep coming back for probably the the same thing. Cheers my friend da

It had been a while, so last night I ordered the chicken Cesar salad... couldn't believe what was brought to my table. It was seemingly shrunk by about 40%! I mean there was literally 5 shards of chicken and really, barely a lunch serving for the regular $19 dinner size. My wife immediately commented on it when it came to the table and when I asked the server he was adamant it was the dinner portion. This may be the final straw. I'd be curious if anyone else had experienced something similar recently!? I'm sure we can find other options for Italian going forward Update! The business went out of their way to make amends. I'm upgrading my review in light of the strong customer service

It…read morehad been a while since I ordered from them so apparently they changed how they do things... good to know not to order again. I am not a fan of reheated pasta and I cannot eat a vat of pasta in a sitting. I discovered I could order a kid size fettuccine alfredo. I always order a side of spinach and a meatball. I was disappointed in everything but flat out shocked at the meatball. The 'side' of spinach in the pasta. There were maybe 3 leaves of spinach and they charged me $1 per leaf. The pasta had almost no flavor. At least there was a side of parmesan because it added a little bit for flavor on the noodles but I did not bother eating much. I figured I would eat some of the bread. The side of garlic bread was cooked to complete hardness... I appreciate it toasted, but when my fillings are struggling because it's like biting down on a rock... that's not toasted, that's burnt. Which brings me to the meatball which was genuinely split completely open and the meat really looked terrible... like weirdly cooked. Since it was delivered, many would say that the delivery person literally opened the meatball but no... it was sealed by the restaurant and considering it's sitting on top of the pasta - it was 'placed' there intentionally. I cannot imagine someone in a kitchen that serves meals to patrons dumping it in there unless they were assuming that since it's a kid's meal, no one's gonna care. Stuff like that really does make me mad to where I don't think I'm going to order from this restaurant again. That does make me sad because this is the only place that really does Italian food and offers a lot of vegetables you can get with your meal but being charged $17 for a tiny box of food that looks like this. I added a photo in the photos if anyone wants to see the proof.

Dearest gentle readers,…read more A most scandalous correction must be issued how careless of me. The establishment in question is none other than the divine Grassa, a name that now rolls off the tongue with the same richness as its most indulgent fare. And oh, what fare it is. Here, along the lively stretch of Portland, one may witness noodles brought to life before their very eyes fresh, authentic, and handled with a confidence that borders on audacity. These delicate strands are then enrobed in a mac and cheese so decadently composed, so brazenly elevated, that it dares to redefine comfort itself. And just when one believes it cannot be improved enter the pig belly. Crisp, tender, and unapologetically rich... a finishing touch that transforms the dish into something whispered about in only the most exclusive of circles. Yes, dear reader, this is the sort of indulgence that lingers long after the final bite... the kind that ruins lesser versions without remorse. And so, with that final truth properly set, I take my leave once more. The tales of this fair city draw to a close, but not without leaving behind a most delicious legacy. Until our next adventure ever eastward. Yours most faithfully,

Who is very friendly and paid us a visit during our recent and superb happy hour outing. I needed a place within walking distance from my place and also needed something vegan friendly for my friend Nadia. She ordered the magherita pizza without cheese. Aria ordered the gnocchi. I went with the mozerella stuffed ravioli. Portions were generous. Everyone but me was able to finish theirs. I just couldn't manage to eat the last one. The bartender, God bless her, whipped up a spirit forward absinthe cocktail for me that just rocked. There is a long bar and several cozy booths. The verdict: Gilda's is a top notch happy hour spot. The restaurant is not huge, but has a fun looking bar down the ramp. Our server, J Doogles was tremendous. He very nicely corrected our pronunciation of Gilda's. It is actually pronounced with a J---Jilda's. His timing was perfect. We were waiting for a friend to join us, and he ended up being confused and missed our wonderful dinner. We arrived early and my wife had a Manhattan...with 4 cherries. I had the bartender recommended Vino Nobile. After we realized, our friend was not arriving, we went ahead and ordered. Started with a great bottle of Super Tuscan Campo. So Great. We then had the bread service with Olive Tapenade Oil. Extremely tasty. Also the Arancini's besides being so full of flavor, were huge. I had the Classic Rigatoni Bolognese and my wife had the Tagliatelle Americano. Both were so well prepared. We were full but had to have the Cannoli after our dinner. Oh my...so good. Thanks again J Doogles for being patient with us, thanks to the wonderful cooks who prepared an excellent meal. We will be back.
