Fantastic dinner! My friend and I loved sitting right next to the glass where you can see the pasta being made. Wonderful service and delicious food! Tastes authentic and fresh - perfect bite every time! The restaurant is a bit small but cozy, so make sure you have a reservation. This is definitely a must try!

This was a very nice restaurant. I felt like I was right at my Grandma's house. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. It was small but it was cute and I liked the décor. The bread basket with the oil was very nice and i had a piece with olives inside. The pasta is all homemade here. I had rigatoni all norma with red sauce and eggplant. It was very nice. We also had the tagliatelle with the ragu sauce. It was a meat sauce. It was also very tasty. It was nice to have traditional Italians prepare the meals.

Probably the closest thing to authentic pasta here in Miami. Every pasta plate was absolutely delicious, great sauces and the pasta was al dente! Good service and it really does feel like you are in Europe, small cozy cute place. Highly recommend

We came in on a Saturday just before they were about to close. It is on Sunset. A cozy spot for pasta. The place is tiny with a few chairs. I went with the cacio e Pepe rigatoni. The pasta sauce needed more flavor. The pasta did taste fresh though. My friend enjoyed her dish. Overall decent pasta. I expected better taste though. Service was excellent. Casual vibe. Lots of families .

OH WOW, where do I start? We've been here twice and can't wait to go back! The staff here is incredible. Super attentive and always willing to help you with anything you need. The place is the perfect little hole-in-the-wall you would never expect to fall in love with. The food is fresh, delicious, and the servers are up to the task of helping you pick out some cool wine pairings. I definitely recommend checking them out!

My husband and I have thoroughly enjoyed PastaMia ambiance, yummy dishes, great desserts, superb wine and the exceptional care, attention and love that Carola, her chef hubby and the entire staff put towards making your experience with them, unique and memorable. The whole team works like a well oiled machine, helping each other and each individual being attentive to the needs of the patrons, regardless if they are your server. First time, it was a Friday and we made reservations and second time we just walked in at an early bird time during the week. So, no waiting. It is a popular and well loved place, so reservations are always a good idea. Carola, the owner is so friendly, full of energy and joy and appreciative of every customer all the time. It's quite special to see. We have enjoyed their suppli, tuna tartare, rigatoni cacio e pepe with guanciale, spaghetti with clams, rigatoni alla genovese, tiramisu, pistachio Gelato, EVERYTHING was fresh and delicious. We also loved a wine that Carola recommended, Basileus Terre di Cosenza. AMIAMO TUTTO DELLA PASTAMIA!!!!!

Instead, we were sat at the smallest bar seating, which was completely inappropriate and not romantic at all for an occasion like Valentine's Day. As soon as we sat down, I politely asked if we could be moved. The manager then told me that I had booked bar seating, which is simply not true. Why would anyone reserve bar seating a month in advance for Valentine's Day? I checked my reservation confirmation myself and it never stated that, and I even tried making another reservation to verify ..bar seating wasn't even an option. He told us he would "see what he could do," and we were left waiting at the bar with no water, no menus, no service, and no communication whatsoever. Meanwhile, we watched multiple couples get seated at proper tables back-to-back. At one point, we even overheard another couple say their reservation was at the same time as ours, and they were seated at a table immediately. When I tried to politely ask for an update, the manager or owner completely ignored me. No acknowledgment, no apology, nothing. I was honestly in shock at how disrespectful and dismissive they were. We ended up getting up and leaving because of how uncomfortable and disrespected we felt. Valentine's Day is supposed to be special, and this restaurant completely ruined that experience.

The gentleman whose name I didn't get unfortunately, was extremely kind and helpful, the service here was amazing and we ended up loving the wine he recommended us. The food was also great we ordered the Caesar Fries, the Magie Plate which came with the bread, strawberry spread and some olives and pickles for the meats, we also got the Hot Dog and everything we had was really good. The ambiance is very nice it's a cozy little hole in the wall that you would definitely miss driving by it. Outside patio area had a lot of seating and as well as couches. Everything was great and I am now hooked on a wine thanks to the recommendation by the team here!

My first visit was…read moreabout a year ago, for a couple glasses of wine and snacks on a Saturday afternoon with my husband, and baby (now outings with a toddler are a bit too lively to patronize a wine shop). Another time was a weeknight evening with some fellow moms, and another was for a wine tasting that we noticed as we walked by. Sometimes, I have just stopped in to buy a bottle to take to dinner. Each visit has been great. It's a really cozy, welcoming place, with walls of wines of varying price points. The wine by the glass and snack/tapas menu is perfect, and if you are interested in having one of the many bottles that they sell, you will find knowledgeable help in identifying something you'll enjoy (and maybe something you haven't heard of before), at a price you are comfortable with.

Vinoteca is a small, cozy wine bar on Grand Avenue in Coconut Grove with a handful of indoor and…read moreoutdoor tables and about 1/2 dozen stools at the bar. They sell bottles of wine, imported olive oils, lots of (mostly European) wines by the glass, and light bites like charcuterie, small pizzas and popcorn. We've come here a few times, our dog was welcome, staff were friendly and outgoing, offering us various tabletop games like tic-tac-toe to pass the time, and once we'd both ordered a few glasses of wine, they offered us complimentary popcorn - something they normally charge for. Wines on their "by the glass" menu average about $16 each, and most staff pour them behind the bar where they have a gauge to measure out each one. The food prep area behind the bar is quite small (which is why they don't have a large menu), but so is this little gem of a wine spot in general. It's cozy, eclectic and great for a glass of wine and a small snack, or a nightcap after having dinner elsewhere. It's good for singles at the bar, or an intimate spot for couples and smaller groups. Vinoteca seems to have found their niche, and they've filled it quite nicely. That said, I'm not sure the staff, at least the ones working on the nights we've come, have a lot of knowledge about wines or are in the position to talk at length about their various selections.
