First time here and honestly a little surprised. Pasta was fresh and al dente, the Amatriciana sauce was absolutely amazing. Bolognese was decent, a little under seasoned but not bad. Service was prompt, besides for gluten free pasta, but I am not upset about that. My only gripe is the value for money. I got the large, no add on's and it was a little underwhelming in terms of the portion. I also was hoping for some Parmesan on top, I didn't realize to get any you had to order it as an add on. For 13 dollars plus tax and tip, I felt like I would have liked a little bit more satisfying of a meal. However, I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for some takeout pasta, to try some new flavors, or a quick bite!

Love! I've been obsessed with this to go pasta concept since I had it in Italy and there weren't any options in Chicago. It's so reasonably priced and the perfect size. The flavors also pack a punch and you can customize all the flavors and toppings!

A cute, easy spot if you're looking for a tasty box of pasta. I had a small serving of pasta with a mix of the Arrabiata and Quatro Formaggi which was a really delicious blend. The brownie was also soft and delicious. The employees were also super friendly. Definitely recommend checking out this place for a quick meal.

Ahh! This used to be Taiyaki, remember that? This is the first location here. The staff and service is dynamic.

Outstanding!!! Love the concept , simple menu with excellent options and flavor!! You pick your box size sm, med, large , and bonus these boxes are microwaveable a 30sec spin and you have lunch for tomorrow !! Then you pick your pasta : penne , gluten free penne , farfalle, or spaghetti ... Then your sauce... there are 10 options and you can mix them up too .. also learned they will be adding more sauce options soon. Cold pastas are also available. And for that sweet tooth , cookies and brownies !! Family owned and operated , super friendly and accommodating! This place has only been opened since January and what I can say is that it's a must visit and return visits are also a must !! Really LOVE this place !!!

My favorite fast casual restaurant. Build your own pasta, the pasta is fresh and sauces are delicious. The owners are helpful and willing to let you sample sauces if you don't know what you want. We got the carbonara and added hot chilli oil , it was 10/10.

I've been here a few times now. Great pasta and it's super quick!! I recommend the carbonara or the 4 cheese with a scoop of arrabiata ontop. It is unreal!! Eating in is super convenient but also nice. The owners could not be nicer either!!

Pasta Fasta, you're pasta-tively amazing. I visited Prizren in 2021 and one evening before heading out to meet with friends, the entire lobby of my hotel smelled absolutely delicious. I asked the lady at the front desk what she was eating, and she said Pasta Fasta. We wasted absolutely no time getting directions to Pasta Fasta and it was, if not the best meal I had in Prizren, top three. If you've ever been to Prizren, then you know how amazing the food there is so saying that Pasta Fasta is top three is a big deal. At the time, I bought extras for my brother and sister- in- law to eat when they got back from their party obligations. They devoured it and Pasta Fasta was their choice of meal for the next week. I will always remember Pasta Fasta, the smell, the taste, the richness of the food and the overall quality of the ingredients are unmatched to anything I ever had- sorry Gibson Italia and Quartino. Anyways, IMAGINE my happiness when I saw an Instagram ad promoting the opening of Pasta Fasta in Lincoln Park! I was so happy, shocked and proud. To know that this business model started from Phristine and that it worked its way to the heart of Lincoln Park made me so happy and showed me the work ethic and motivation of the people behind it. I believe in the quality of your food!!! I was so happy that I loaded my kids into the car and drove from Skokie to Lincoln Park in rush hour traffic to pick up dinner. There are three sizes to choose from, I choose two large and one small. I have a sensitivity to tomato sauce so I only ordered the chicken pesto, the meat and mushrooms and alfredo. You can choose your pasta, the sauce and only with select can you choose protein. Either way, you build how you like. I didn't even have a chance to ask them if they have a gluten free menu so please call to inquire but I did think their prices are more than reasonable considering the location and the quality of the service. The food was just as amazing as I remembered it, it was so good that my sister- in- law and brother ate all the pesto with no reservation of willingness to share. They only managed to tell me it was very good haha. The pasta was well cooked, they were more than generous on the protein and the sauce was plentiful. Bonus points that it wasn't oversalted. The beef and mushroom contain veal which was cooked to perfection and as someone who cooks veal often, it was so soft and tasty, you wouldn't even know it was veal how much it complimented the sauce and pasta. Located in Lincoln Park, I highly recommend you visit this place! There is plenty of street parking and this place is kid friendly, pasta is something everyone loves regardless of their age and lucky for us, Pasta Fasta has plenty of choices to choose from! Pasta Fasta- welcome to Chicago, may you pasta continue to leave lasting impressions on world travelers!

Came because a friend saw it on insta and to see what the hype is about this place. only decent thing they have is the red sauce. The white sauce is so bland. Not sure if it's bagged sauce?? Idk but it was disappointing.. Olive Garden pasta is better than the pasta I had here....

Great spot to cure a craving for pasta! Love the selection, ease, and speed. Servers were very patient and polite! Glad that there are some spots to sit inside for those that want to dine in. Loved the chicken alfredo spaghetti - felt it had a lot more flavor than the bolognese penne. Only point off would be that the cost for toppings were a bit more than I was comfortable paying for. Will come back when I get another pasta craving

Extremely glad I made the short trip. Tortello has a casual feel: you order up front before you are seated. I ordered the cacio e pepe, plus foccacia with honey and ricotta as an appetizer. The latter was an excellent combination of flavors and textures, the savory and crunchiness of the bread with the soft creaminess and (not overwhelming) sweetness of the cheese and honey. The cacio e pepe had a high bar to clear as a result, but did so handsomely. The pasta had a pleasant bite, and the pepper and cheese were excellent. In short, a great experience. I look forward to coming here when it isn't 5 degrees outside!

There's a light casual feel because you order at the counter, but table service is still on point and prices match the white table clothes. I've walked past many times wanting to stop for dinner but they're often packed. It's first come first serve. So we lucked out with an impromptu dinner on a cold rainy evening. The heaters were on in their outdoor patio so we sat outside which can be quite romantic if you don't mind the squeeze. I most enjoyed the seasonal duck pasta (Pappardelle all'Anatra) and the focaccia with ricotta and honey; although their classic Tagliattelle Tina (popular dish denoted with a heart on the menu) was hearty and rich. Truth be told, we selected our dishes based on what we could not so easily recreate at home. And we were not disappointed!

My friend and I came in to grab a bite on Thursday evening and I noticed most of their orders were for carryout so they definitely were still busy as it was freezing outside. They sat us at a small table in the very front under the heater, which was really appreciated considering it was negative degrees outside. All of the pasta options were so different and our server knew all of them by heart, including the noodle shapes which I was really impressed about. She was able to recite off the specials without looking at anything either. Server was extremely attentive and the ambience was casual stop in. We ended up ordering the butternut squash pasta with pancetta as well as the vodka rigatoni, and we added some chicken. The vodka rigatoni was not very spicy, but there was just enough sauce to cover all the noodles, but you didn't need anything, but they gave you a piece of bread to stop up the rest if that's for you. The butternut squash absolutely took the cake. It was savory, it was a little bit sweet, it was not greasy from the pancetta, but very well seasoned. I don't live very close to this place, but I actually would come out of my way for it. Thank you for having us!
