The Mr and I opted for the burger special which included a cheeseburger, fries, and a beer for $18.95 (I think) and S had a French dip, while M had a BBQ sandwich. Our burgers were excellent and the fries were salty and crisp - just the way I like them. I was only able to eat half of my burger. The next morning I regretted not bringing the leftovers with me. I'd have eaten them for breakfast. Haha M seemed to enjoy his sandwich, but S was disappointed in hers. It didn't come with any sides. She felt like she should have gotten fries or cole slaw. Service was friendly. The location is a little strange. It was actually tucked into an industrial area. If we didn't know it was there and have a GPS, we'd never have found it. However there was live music outside and it appears to be a favorite with the locals.

It has an odd entrance that takes you through the brewhouse floor before entering the dining area. They of course have several beers on tap and a pretty nice menu. The hotel folks raved about their pizza, but I went for a burger. It was excellent along with a very fresh side salad. I also opted for a cocktail, the Porch Swing. It was made to perfection had just a hint of a spicy kick to it. Amber was my server and also made the drink. She was awesome, friendly, helpful, and made a seriously good drink. Thankfully I was walking back to the hotel. This was just one of many fantastic stops on my trip and certainly would come here again if in town.

We were grateful the patio was open -- it cut down on the indoor noise, and as non‑drinkers, we appreciated being away from the strong beer smell inside. Vegetarian options were plentiful and clearly labeled, which was a relief. We started with chips and all three salsas: red, mango, and queso. The queso had the only bit of zing, the red salsa tasted more like tomato sauce, and the mango salsa was delicious but very sweet. The chip‑to‑salsa ratio was excellent -- something many restaurants miss. The mains were slow to arrive, but understandable given the rush. The seasonal snap pea salad was beautifully presented and genuinely delicious, with a light lemon note and sweet pepperdew peppers. My husband ordered the pub cheeseburger with the vegetarian patty; he found it a bit spicy (he doesn't do heat at all), and I found it slightly dry, though I appreciated that it was a house‑made patty rather than the usual Beyond/Boca/Impossible option. I'm not one to linger after eating, so I always get impatient waiting for the check, but overall we would definitely eat here again. There were so many thoughtful vegetarian choices.

A nice refreshing beer was exactly what was needed after all the work rafting. For a starter we got the artichoke dip. This was some of the best dip I've ever had. I could have eaten this as my whole meal and ate too much that I wasn't super hungry when my burger came. I wasn't too upset about that though because the dip was a lot better than the burger. The bacon jam and onions on the burger were great, but the burger itself was slightly dry.

They came and refilled the dog bowl with ice cold water, and our dogs loved that. Service was a little slow, but everyone was nice. I got the pulled pork sandwich with fries and bbq sauce. It was sooooooo salty. Everything. The fries, the pork, the sauce. So much salt. Dipping in my husbands ranch mellowed the salt a bit. My husband got the chicken pesto burger and salad. He said it was good, though Costco's was better. lol. But he ate it all. The dogs got their bowl split in half. There was a bunch of peanut butter, chicken, cucumber, and cabbage. The picky dog devoured it all but the cabbage, the dog who'll eat anything ate only the chicken and PB. Really funny. But they were big sized. I'd go again, just being understanding that they're heavy handed with the salt.

Upon arrival we saw a few different beers we wanted to try. Luckily quite a few of them were in cans which we took home but we had a beer there at the taproom also to absorb and relax at the taproom location. An adorable cat that more than likely lived there or put in a hard working shift of charming customers was present and we made over the kitty and pet it when it came to see us. Such a lovely cat! But onto the beer now! For the beer that we had at the taproom we had the Rice and Shine Japanese Lager. This was a pretty solid lager and one of my favorite types of lagers. I do love a lager that involves rice. Perhaps not the best ever that I have come across but still quite good. The flavor profile of this beer has a clean, crisp and refreshing aspects to it along with a biscuity flavor. The rest of the beers we had went home with us in cans. One beer was the River Pillow. This was a Pale Ale and had a nice, soft feel to it. The hop presence wasn't too overwhelming. We had another Pale Ale also. This one was called the Shredipede. This beer has a clean, crisp and citrusy presence to it. It is bright in hue and is nice and crushable which means you can have more than one with ease. Moving on from that was another kind of lager. This one was a Mexican Lager. The name of this one was the Pinche Chela. Mexican Lagers are another favorite lager of mine if not my #1 favorite for this beer type. This beer has a nice corn taste which provides a natural sweetness and the beer is nice and crisp. Again... perhaps not my most favorite version that I have had but enjoyable all the same. After that we went to darker beer territory and had a dry Irish Stout. I love these kinds of stouts because of that dryness aspect at work. Other flavor features in this are roastiness, oatmeal and the feel of it is smooth, creamy and soft. An excellent stout. This was a good stop and I am glad this brewery finally got tried out.
