Two words: Personal Styling…read more Those two words used to sound so out-of-reach to me and what I could afford. But with Haven Style House, that mindset is now gone. Anne and Cori have styled me for numerous events, trips and more. All starting with just an email with an idea, followed by tons of special options and looks, ordered just for me. This is the kind of attention you can't get anywhere else--and their ability to find the perfect styles from all over is just impeccable. They'll even find you shoes and accessories to go with your look! When I come into the store to try-on and pick-up my personal styling options, I'm always so excited to see the in-store items they've paired with them to make the perfect looks. It makes the entire shopping experience so much fun, relaxing and like you're just hanging with friends (who happen to have amazing fashion-sense.) They also host pop-up shops around downtown neighborhoods at local businesses, so keep an eye on their social media pages and website. Oh! And they're setting up a new online shop, so check back!

The cloths here are darling. They are nicer quality and there are two great dressing rooms where…read moreyou can get things on. I have walked in here a bunch of times but never bought anything. Then today, I saw a final sale White Lether jacket that was a great price and I had to get it. The not great part was the one young lady store worker who helped me. She was condescending when I said I didn't need a receipt, and said, "well this isn't the gap! The owner won't email you anything that's not the receipt." I was pretty startled by the interaction as I just wanted to get the jacket and get out of there. It quickly made the exciting experience of getting a cute item not so pleasurable. I loved the purchase, but a little hesitant about returning due to the poor customer service that was provided in such a short time exchange.

A gentlemen's shop, through and through, run by two generations of family!…read more I stopped by here after hitting up my favorite ladies boutique in the area after the gals suggested it. I was looking for something special for my guy for his birthday, in particular a nice pocket square. As I pulled up to this old, ivy covered building, I didn't know what to expect. The inside was filled with every color and texture of jackets, pants, shirts and ties. The next room was filled with bow ties, more shirts, cufflinks, even more wonderful, manly items and WINE! Yes, wine by the case! And let's not for about their Hermes shop inside. Talk about dreamy. The service was shy, yet attentive, which was a nice surprise. I was sort of expecting a high-pressure sales atmosphere, but that wasn't the case at all. In fact, the guy who helped me was the son of the owner and he stuck with me through probably about 45 minutes of "Hmmm... I'm not sure" and "Are there more colors?" God bless his soul. And did I mention the huge selection? They seriously showed me over 150 pocket squares. Crazy cool stuff. It's what I'd want a gentlemen's shop to be, what I'd expect to see in a movie, almost. Such a fantastic place! Oh, and lastly, I'm not expert on mens clothing prices, but I pay for service and this place seemed modest with service for days.

I have done no business with him, ever, outside of buying a custom suit from his business that took 6+ months to make, didn't fit when I got it, and was the wrong fabric that they switched without asking me. His review is purely in retaliation. What a shameful and low-class thing for any business to do.

Very disappointing customer service. They tried to tell me I couldn't use my store gift card…read morebecause it was issued 1.5 years ago. However, there's no expiration date on the gift card, and federal law clearly states a gift card cannot expire less than 5 years after the issue date unless the card clearly states an expiration policy. Not only did I have to explain my personal family emergencies over the past year that contributed to my inability to use the gift card, but the owner was incredibly rude about it. She huffed and puffed and made a scene. I was so uncomfortable and plan to never shop here again.

If I could give this store, zero stars, I would. The manager verbally attacked me on the phone,…read morecalling me "ridiculous" when I tried to return a dress that was ripped when I bought it. She was very nice when I was spending my money and was very helpful, but when I tried to return a $30 item, she was vicious and rude. For a manager of an establishment to insult a customer and question their integrity over a mere $30 item is unacceptable. Plus, I would expect a boutique store to stand behind their products, have high-quality merchandise, and be responsive to customers with reasonable complaints. A dress with a 2 inch rip is unwearable. Admittedly, it had been a month since I had shopped there, but I do not live in the area and had made a special trip to the store. Even if she had chosen not to refund the money, she did not need to attack my character and call me "ridiculous." That is no way to conduct business.
