Broken dip...
Laramie J.

My Dip manicure didn't even last one day.... Not okay. At all. A complete waste of money. This should last at LEAST three weeks... they are cracking and breaking my real nail underneath. Also, I was there for over TWO hours!! Also not ok. I sat in the pedicure chair for 40 mins with my nails soaking in acetone... for way too long. When they finally took it off, all my skin was so dry and raw. Then I got a manicure and my skin cracked and bled. And it was very painful. They were trying to blame it on me.. but nope. That's never ever happened to me before. If my experience wasn't so bad, I would go back and demand that they fix them. But it's honestly not worth it.

Profusely bleeding.

Sadly, my usual place was closed (thought I booked an appt online and it was confirmed). Frustrated, I decided to try this place. First. The smell. Incredibly strong. Hard to breathe. But nice people and they take walk-ins. I knew figured I could last for 45 minutes Then a hose malfunctioned and I got sprayed all over my upper body. It just missed my iPad. Accidents happen. Moved on. Then the young woman overclipped my nails and proceeded to slice open my big toe with her callous cheese grater thing. It hurts! She was incredibly apologetic and clearly mortified. However, it bled the entire time, through the bandaid and all over the towel. Now I wouldn't have minded too much because this is a thankless job and these poor women are exposed to toxic chemicals 10 hours a day. But. There was no discount, no offer to make it right, and I was charged $37.50 for a rather shitty experience. I still tipped $2 and I wish I hadn't. This is my first negative review in years. It feels necessary to share because if they accidentally hurt you, there will be no restitution or discount.

Got my new nail color for the week and I try 30mins. Of body massage and I was glad that I did feeling relax and renewed from a week of work. All the staff are very friendly and accommodating and I never get disappointed every time I come. Thank you guys again see you in 4 weeks

Acrylic nails with shellac. Coffin shape.
Amber A.

Went here after a few years away. The nail tech who did my fill was great. She was through to check the shape was even- which believe me is one of my biggest complaints with coffin styles....not even! She didn't hurt me, and didn't make them too thin. I also had a leg wax done. Nothing special, but nothing bad.

I'm done with this place. Today I even made an appointment and was still here 2 hrs. Watching the manager take too many clients when she hadn't even finished the ones already there. She was rushed trying to finish mine. There was fucking glue all over my fingers and the nails were horrible. I paid 120 for shit nails.

Amazing design!!!

I have been coming here for months and absolutely love it. I get acrylic nails that are strong and durable, better then anywhere else I have gone. They are very kind and do such a good job! I will continue to come back!!

This place is amazing great service, friendly workers, good prices they take their time and make sure that your nails and your feet are looking good. They have a really nice selection of nail polishes. they also have a hand sanitizer and temperature check when you first walk in the door and plastic dividers separating you and them. Very clean changing the gloves in between certain tasks and customers. They ask you how you're feeling they talk to you they ask you if you're comfortable if the water's warm enough do you like the Polish before they finish like all your toes. This was my first time but I brought my little sister with me because my other sister told us about coming here and so I took her to and we both got our toes done and she got her fingernails done and I was very pleased with the work and then friendliness and time they take I will definitely come back thank you guys for great service

An older woman did my pedicure and accidentally put regular polish on instead of gel -- they offered to fix it but I declined, no big deal. Entire pedicure was very quick and for $39 I wouldn't recommend. Meanwhile my friend's dip removal was left on way too long, and she said her nails started falling apart. Then I was moved to the regular station for my manicure, and the woman was INCREDIBLY slow and drilled way too long and too hard, right on my cuticles. I actually turned to my friend and said "this hurts." After she was done with the basics, the other woman working stepped in to a) fix what she had done and then b) did my design (one nail per hand). We were there for almost THREE hours, but their pricing is the biggest kicker -- nowhere on their website do they have the price of dip removal listed if you're getting a manicure with it. Their website says "Dip removal w/o manicure $20" (which is the highest I've ever seen, I've been to ~10 salons in the area and have never been charged more than $10). We were shocked when we went to check out. My friend's total for just her hands was $77 before tip -- $14 for dip removal (for 4 full nails, and a few that were very chipped), $10 for a design (one nail per hand) and $53 for a dip manicure. My total was $106 before tip -- $39 for a quick pedicure, $14 for dip removal on four nails and a design on one nail per hand, $53 for a dip manicure. This was the most ripped off we've felt in a long while and we're monthly dip manicure girls. Edit: 8 days after the dip manicure and a finger already chipped.

There's also free parking in the garage. They have such a large selection of colors that you pick out of a book. They offer you an array of drinks and snacks. It's super clean and cute and doesn't overly smell of chemicals. I brought my daughter and her friends for her 10th birthday and they treated them so nice. They played K-pop demon hunters on the tv which is my daughter's favorite. When making the appointment, I was able to select the kid"s manicure with additional free basic designs. Affordably priced for a kid's manicure too. After they were done they had a treasure box where each girl could select a squishy, pen, or stickers. They also had an extra little prize for the birthday girl. They also gave me a beautiful rose for Mother's Day. Overall a great experience! Would definitely recommend and come again! I've already made another appointment. :)

The best part of this nail salon was the nail tech Justin, who apparently no longer works there…read more Honestly, I should have taken that as a sign. My first visit started rough. I came in asking for a gel builder fill with an ombré design and brought a reference photo. Instead of confidently executing the look, the nail tech kept asking me which colors and techniques she should use. I'm not a nail tech. That's literally why I came to a salon. At one point, it became almost all hands on deck. A lovely woman sitting next to me even tried helping the tech figure it out because she could see how stressful and awkward it was becoming. The atmosphere overall already felt chaotic. I remember another woman there with her daughter who had clearly been waiting a very long time and was visibly frustrated. At some point we all just kind of laughed and tried to make the best of it because the experience was so disorganized. Thankfully, Justin stepped in and completely saved the appointment. He was phenomenal. Super personable, incredibly talented, and clearly experienced. We laughed the entire appointment, and he absolutely nailed the set. It was genuinely one of the best nail experiences I've had. Four weeks later, I called back specifically to book with Justin and was told he had "left the profession." Justin, if you actually just moved salons and happen to read this, please tell me where you went because I will follow you there immediately. Unfortunately, my refill appointment this time was a mess. I asked for a simple fill, one solid color, and the same almond shape I already had. Instead, the tech kept filing my nails shorter and shorter trying to "fix" the shape, turning them more oval by the minute. I finally had to ask her to stop because my nails had become painfully short. At one point she abruptly stopped working on my nails altogether, and I sat there for about 20 minutes waiting for someone else to finish the job. What made the experience even worse was hearing the staff switch languages while talking and laughing back and forth about "the ombré nails." It was uncomfortable, unpleasant, and incredibly unprofessional. I left disappointed, frustrated, and with nails much shorter than I wanted. Overall, I would absolutely not recommend this salon. Save yourself the trouble and find wherever Justin went instead.

Clif was amazing, we both had the same vision going in and in 15 years in the industry, he gave me one of the best cuts I've had in a long time. We had a blast, he is so much fun and personable and it felt like I was hanging out with an old friend. Being in the same industry, I know how hard it is to find a stylist that's a keeper. He is. Next time I'm down in Shoreline, I will be going to see him. Salon itself was warm, cozy and very comfortable. Easy to find, great parking and friendly staff. It took a month and a half for me not to feel embarrassed going out in public with my hair looking like it did. The color blend I asked for was complex and so I contacted them, sent pictures, and asked before I went there if they could pull it off. They assured me that they absolutely could. After four plus hours of bleaching and coloring, I was told that it would be better if he cut it a certain way (showing that he knew it didn't look right) but I'd have to make an appointment because it took longer than planned. I had told him from the beginning to use stronger bleach but he ignored this. I told him I knew this from multiple experiences but he said it'd be fine. He suggested shaving a pattern in the back. I hadn't planned this but he encouraged that it would look good. I looked up images and gave him several options and told him to do the one that he felt most comfortable with but he assured me that any would turn out great. When I saw it later it looked like a toddler's drawing. When I texted him pictures of it later he never responded. In the end, I paid $230 for a frizzy, haphazardly colored, and poorly designed head of hair. To be fair, he only charged me $200, but I am a stickler for always tipping well no matter what. I had sent them pictures, I asked if they could do it, I did not go there with higher expectations than what was promised. Now I will never go back and I encourage you not to make the same mistake that I did.
