They helped me in an eviction situation. Fast response, very professional and reliable. I would work with them again.

These guys are fantastic and very professional. I doubt there is a an other locksmith business that could hold a candle to them. read more

A few weeks ago me and my boyfriend ran into a snag replacing locks at my salon. Joe Barclay was incredibly helpful with helping us get the correct lock and spent time demonstrating how to fix the lock. He took his time and was very helpful and patient, also saving us a lot of money. I highly recommend this company and so grateful to have a local locksmith with such great integrity and customer service! read more

Friendly and very helpful when needed to duplicate keys and even stamped a letter on each key to easily identify which key is for which room/door. Definitely will come back for any lock/key needs! read more

Very pleased after a service call from Paso Safe and Lock. "Joe" was able to troubleshoot and quickly resolve a tricky situation that had stumped two prior locksmiths. Good communication and arrived on time, too. They're now tops on my list for locksmithery, particularly for the more-technical situations. Thank you! read more

Justin Bedolla saved the day for me. He arrived on a late Sunday afternoon when my electronic door lock failed. His speedy arrival, professionalism, and quick solution were amazing. Look no further when you need help!! read more

Very expensive. For a 5 minute switch out of a key lock to a thumb turn lock it was 312$. $135 for lubrication seems excessive.

My key fob for my Toyota RAV4 cracked & I couldn't use it anymore to start my car. Mike and the guys at Paso Robles Safe & Lock were able to quickly replace my key fob with a new one in a matter of minutes. The quality of workmanship and the friendly atmosphere made the experience a positive out of what was a real negative. read more

I'd give these folks 6 stars if I could. Our timeline for changing locks on a new home purchase shifted a few times. Mike was incredibly accommodating, rescheduling our re-key no fewer than three times. Super patient, friendly, and transparent about pricing, services, and options. Fantastic customer service and communication. Just great. When an incident bumped up the urgency on our lock change in a big way a few days before our scheduled appointment, I called to see if they could even just put us on a stand-by list for any earlier openings, and Mike and his technician Joe went beyond the call of duty-- we had comfort and security in our new home within a few hours of calling (they were super clear that they couldn't commit to a specific time, but could find a way to fit us into that same afternoon-- perfect). It was a huge relief. Couldn't be more appreciative for their prompt, thorough communication and help, as well as their flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond to help as our needs changed. I would steer absolutely anyone to them, and will certainly be using them for any locksmith needs that arise in my future. read more

These people are way overpriced For a Honda key fob they want $300. OSH has exact same thing for $120! Stay away to save $ read more

Ever since I started getting keys made for anything, this has always been my place to go. They have always been able to help me with any of my key needs. I thought I had them stumped one day when I came in with an ignition key for a 1978 Subaru Brat. I have to admit that the locksmith himself seemed a bit perplexed at finding the proper key to cut. But, he found the perfect match! I even take key blanks that I have bought from the dealer to have them cut here too. Their prices are always very reasonable and they always stand behind their work. Make no mistake, why get your key cut at a hardware store or anywhere else when you can have it done right the first time here? I know I definitely will not go anywhere else for my keys or locksmithing needs. read more

We needed help immediately with unlocking our car in 102 degree weather. We called a few other locksmiths who were less than helpful and didn't seem to care about our situation but when Mike answered he was very cognizant of the issue and had a person out to us really quickly. The locksmith, (I think his name was Joe) was super helpful and professional. I would highly recommend this company. We are visitors and they took care of us like we were locals. read more

About 10yr ago I bought a truck that used transponder keys and was only given 1. Fast forward many years, and I'm ready to replace this key and get a second key made for the wife. I ordered two transponder keys online, and set about trying to get these keys cut from the original (I have equipment to program the keys to my truck). I visited your typical places like local hardware stores and other lock companies and were told they couldn't copy keys they didn't sell you. I was even sold a clone key that wasn't programmed at all. I finally resorted to paso robles safe and lock (only took this long because I'm in atascadero and they aren't open on the weekends). Tony was extremely helpful over the phone, explained some of the potential problems and told me to swing by. I had my two keys cut and voluntarily purchased another because the two keys I ordered were slightly on the short side and had them all cut. All three keys worked out of the box. This is the only real locksmith that has a physical location, staffed with people that could actually help. Not only that, everyone there seemed very helpful. Unless you just want a house key copied and you don't care where you buy the key from, skip Home Depot, Lowes, and Ace... Skip the mobile only locksmiths with no actual physical location and just go straight here. I wish I would have gone here first, as I spent a couple weeks finding places locally, getting lots of weird explanations, weird advice etc. Paso Robles lock and key got it done right and it was like a 10 minute visit. I will be doing business with them again. read more

This guys did a great job on a whole house re-key for us involving six locks under a home warranty service. Their work was quick and they made sure they could do exactly what I wanted before even coming out by having me test my key in all the different lock tumblers to make sure they were all the same type of key before they came out. The work was done quickly and efficiently and they also helped me figure out some other key issues I was having with two internal room locks. Highly recommend!! read more

Needed new lock for my mailbox. The Post Offices solution would have been a new mailbox, $100+. Tried the big hardware stores/key automats, they didn't have the blanks. Came here and got a new set straight away - the tech checked the keys and thought the blank may be too thick, so he cut a second set and let me have both. The second set worked perfectly and I recommend these guys wholeheartedly - very professional and very pleasant! read more

I accidentally locked my 2 dogs in a storage room down below our house this evening. I was trying desperately to find a locksmith to help me get them out. I called the after hours line and Justin was on call. He was so nice and patient and listened to my dilemma. He assured me he would come out to my home and help me. A short time after we hung up I did locate the key. I called him again to let him know I would not need him and how grateful I was that he was going to come to my rescue. I would call them again in a heartbeat if I ever need their services. You are the best!!! Thanks a million Chris Brykalski read more

After an attempt at a DIY repair, my front door lock completely seized up. When looking for recommendations, I was immediately referred to Paso Safe & Lock. I called in the morning and connected with Justin who was able to come out immediately after ensuring he had all the information needed in order to bring all the required parts. Justin arrived as per his estimated ETA and was quick to get my lock fixed. The price was as estimated with a slight charge for a part (as expected). My dog loved Justin and he was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend Paso Safe & Lock for all your lock needs. read more

The person I spoke with after being placed on hold multiple times said his name was Mike, I know this because I asked his name only after I hung up the phone on him while he was trying to rope me into a service I didn't ask for and don't need, all I wanted was a copy of my car key no programming! He actually called my personal phone after I had hung up on him, this man needs to take a class on customer service! How this place got so highly rated is a mystery to me because the service I received over the phone this morning was offensive. Update: I was told that I couldn't program it myself using the procedure I learned online, well that was a complete lie! I just programmed it and it's working great. Mike didn't want to copy my key for 3 dollars like i asked he instead lied to me to try and get me to pay for a much more expensive reprogramming procedure that I could do myself at home for free in less than 10 minutes. Before you give these people your hard earned money always check the internet first you just might save yourself hundreds of dollars. read more

I wanted to post a 5-star review of Justin Bedolla of Paso Robles Safe and Lock. Right in the middle of the Covid-19 stay at home order, our back-door lock stuck in the locked position! My husband and I go out that door about a hundred times a day and would have been locked out if it was not fixed soon. I called Justin and he responded immediately with care and professionalism. He not only replaced the damaged door lock, but was able to rekey my entire house lock system and he painstakingly took apart and cleaned all my door locks! He went over and above. This would have been exceptional care in normal times, but even more so with all the Covid-19 scare. I would HIGHLY recommend him and his company to anyone who has locksmith needs. VERY Satisfied. read more

I've been a customer for years and always leave happy. A few days ago I needed keys for my car and the car dealership wanted more than I can afford and didn't want to work with me on the price so I went to PASO safe and lock, they told me up front it would be expensive and suggested I buy the keys online and they would key them for me. They saved me over $500 and talked me thru and printed out instructions for me knowing the total price was a measly $60 total and didn't even blink an eye. All these people always treat me good. read more
