Amazing customer service. An AC service technician broke off a key in my gate lock. I took things apart thinking I could get the key out. My wife worked on it for an hour too. Because the gate gave anyone access to my pool and yard I needed to get this lock issue resolved quickly. It had been several years since I had been to Haven's but they were the first company that came to mind and I'm glad I did make the 15 mile drive. Israel was amazing and able to remove the broken key in minutes. He was very professional and courteous throughout the whole ordeal. 4/5 I've been using Haven's Lock & Security for years for our business key needs. The staff is always friendly, service is quick, and their location right off Highway 180 is very convenient. They have a huge selection of keys, safes, locks, cameras, and security products. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is their service area policy. They offer free service calls in Fresno and Clovis, but quoted me $150 to come to my location, even though I'm only about 15 minutes from their shop. That didn't make much sense since some Fresno and Clovis locations are farther away. Also, key prices have increased quite a bit over the years, which adds up when you're making keys in bulk for employees. Overall, good service, knowledgeable staff, and a well-stocked security store. I'd continue using them and would recommend them. read more

These guys are some of the best locksmith and key makers in Fresno and they provide excellent customer service which leads to great customer satisfaction. I needed 2 replacement keyd for an e-bike battery. My girlfriend had been to two other locksmiths and they just looked at the key and shook their head. Same for home Depot in Fresno ag. I knew these guys could do it because I went there 18 months ago with a different e-bike battery key and they made me two keys for that one. That day he was training someone how to use the machine and because it took half an hour he gave me the keys for free. This time one of the other guys helped me right away but he didn't want to try and cut the key without 100% certainty on the correct key number. I had to wait for one of the owners to help and same as last time yes I can duplicate that. I also had him do another key for me and because I had to wait again he said 'you don't have to pay'. This time I refused to take the keys for free and he says you can leave me a $5 tip I think I paid $18 for three keys and a couple carabiners annoying that it was done correctly made it worth it. If you need great service by professionals that know what they're doing and think of the customer first this is the place to go. If you need a gun safe or a money safe or any safe this is the place to go. read more

I needed to get copies made of a garage door key and none of the stores in the area seemed to carry the right blanks. I finally sent out a request on Yelp to see if local locksmiths might be able to help. I got a reply from AJ's, saying me might and let me know when he would be at this business. Once I got there, he found he did not have the correct blank, but he told me if anyone did, Haven's would. Even though it was a drive across town from NW Fresno, I was tired of looking and not finding it. Once I got there, I was quickly told them did have the right blank. I told them I was referred over from a guy on the loop, and they knew I was talking about AJ, and were super helpful. It was so nice to have local businesses speak highly of each other, and refer business like this. THAT is real customer service! I will need some residential rekeying in the near future, and am happy that I now have TWO great businesses I can call. THANK YOU SO MUCH! The dead bolt on my front door was not working correctly. It would get stuck in the locked portion and I would have to jiggle it to unlock it sometimes taking 3-5 minutes to get the dead bolt to unlock. I took on the dead bolt off my front door and took it in to Haven's. They replaced the damaged/warned part for less than $10. read more

BIG WASTE OF TIME WITH THIS BUSINESS!!!!! I was very patient (2 years to be exact) went in to have a key made for my car and they dismantled my door lock to get the code and told me they had to order keys. Left contact info to let me know when they came in, months went by so I called and they said they haven't got them in yet. Waited again a few more months, called them again and was told they were on back order. Waited again with even more time going by. Decided to go in person on 8/27/21 to ask what was the deal. The person that I had been dealing with this whole time was Israel. Asked him what was going on and he told me "oh I don't do automotive keys anymore, so I didn't order any keys". I told him, are you kidding me. This whole time you could've called me or reached out and said that you don't do Automotive keys anymore. Went in for a couple of spare keys for my truck. Employee went out and checked the fit and function of the keys before handing them over. He didn't like the fit of the gas cap key and took the gas cap in to find a better fitting blank. 15 minutes later I'm out the door with two well fitting and functional keys for less than $10. The staff is always friendly and courteous, and they are always happy to help with any situation that should arise that would be out of the ordinary for our account. They carry a good selection of products ranging from simple padlocks, to fancy computer controlled locks for doors. From doing business with them through my employer, I have even bought items for personal use from them because of the positive experiences I have had. They also have mobile service that will come to you and rekey locks, among a variety of other services they offer. I haven't had as much experience with that aspect, but when someone has been sent to my place of work, they are always timely and do a good job with whatever the project may be. read more

We needed a travel trailer re-keyed the evening that we were heading out of town and Havens was the only service around to get the job done. I was irritated with this company's service. Information about a faulty lock was sent prior to arranging an appointment. Despite pictures and details, the lock tech was unprepared and did not have the right materials. There seemed to be a lack of communication between the dispatch and the techs - not to mention a lack of thinking ahead.
