Literally my tongue and teeth were black. The waiter came by and grabbed the plate when I was in the bathroom. I spent about 10 minutes trying to get that BLACK SLUDGE out of my mouth. When I was spitting out the dirt/mud wife noticed the bus boys laughing at me and there was not a manger in sight. When I asked for a manager he did not even respond. No apology or anything just a look of confusion. Worst experience in a restaurant in my life and I love to eat and have been to many types of restaurant big and small. Cheap and expensive and this one takes the cake. We were so bummed as I see thousands of great reviews. But if there was a zero I would have given zero stars the way they handled the situation. Another employee backed him up and claimed I was being "aggressive," which is completely untrue--I was simply asking why I had not been served. I have photo evidence of the interaction. As a disabled U.S. veteran, I found this experience especially disappointing. I expected basic service and respect, but instead felt ignored and disrespected. I tried to resolve this issue directly with the business before posting this review. I was told I would receive a response within 48-72 hours, but I never received any follow-up. Beyond the original incident, the lack of communication and accountability from management is disappointing.
