Have been a patient of this highly rated office 35-40 years. I'd say that Dr Baldwin is a perfectionist like most of his other DDS and hygeinists in the office. He frequently lectures and demonstrates his procedures at dental conventions domestically and internationally. His standards are hard to beat. Prices for the work done in this office can be pricey. I had to have my front tooth removed due to a bad infection that traveled to my jawbone. My surgeon recommended I go see Dr. Marchack "if I wanted a perfect match" to my other teeth. Its my front tooth so of course I needed it perfect. I have veneers so the look of my smile is an investment and very important to me. Dr. Marchack is a perfectionist. My implant is not only perfect but its nicer than the veneers I have. I think he doesn't have a million reviews because he is word of mouth the master to go to. If you have a visible tooth that needs to be replaced and you want perfection GO SEE HIM!! He is not the cheapest but you get what you pay for with him. After my previous dentist had misdiagnosed an issue with one of my crowns and had damaged two of my back molars, leaving me with pain and the inability to chew properly or put my teeth together, Dr. Marchack really helped me. I've been coming here for over 20 years now and I've always had a great experience. Mostly the hygienists I see are either Anna or Jean and they're both great! I always look forward to my appointments because I really enjoy catching up with them. The whole staff is prompt, professionally, and friendly, have great Covid measures in place, and are very communicative with appointment reminders and all those useful things. I hate to write a bad review but you may want to think twice about Christopher Marshack. I went to him because he has an in house lab, had great before and after pictures on his website and was recommended by a dentist who bought my old dentist's office. (My old dentist left me with an unfinished crown and a broken temporary) On my second visit with Dr Marshack, he said I needed three additional crowns on top of the three I came in for, we are talking many thousands. A second opinion reveled the additional three were unnecessary and there were more conservative, less costly treatment options available. He charges for temporaries and wanted to make two for the same tooth (rational - that an implant needs special planning that would require two) naturally I would have to pay for both costing hundreds each. When he made the first front tooth temporary, on my third visit, it was made too small, short and gray - looked awful - worse than what I came in with! When I was not happy, instead of trying to fix it or remake it, he blamed the dark color on the silver abutment of the implant (also implied my implant was inferior) and he blamed the shortness, on my bite. I was completely blindsided when he gave me the option of keeping the short gray temporary or leaving with the old, broken, crooked temporary and going to a different prosthodontist. I chose the latter. Though Dr. Marshack did not charge for the gray temporary, I was charged exam fees, X-rays and for initial office visits. I do want to thank Dr. Marshack for giving me the wise option of going to someone else who might better meet my expectations. Even though I was out several hundred, it was worth it. I went to a board certified prosthodontist who makes amazing undetectable temporaries, beautiful crowns, is professional and did the work with one temporary that was included in the cost of the crown. He is humble, (not in a flashy office), affordable - takes insurance and is an amazing artist.. Yes they are out there. Thank you Dr. Marshack for recommending I see someone else. read more

Seven years ago I began the search for a new dentist. Asking friends who, like myself, needed or has had lots of dental work my interview process was narrowed to 1 general dentist and 3 prosthodontists. Over the years I've lost much of the enamel on my teeth resulting in sometimes painful sensitivity. Dr. Chris Marchak was the last of the 4 dentists / prosthodontists that I interviewed and how lucky I was that a friend had recommended him. Dr. Marchak was the only one who immediately recognized the cause of the enamel erosion, Acid Reflux, and before treating my teeth Dr. Marchak said the cause needed to be treated first. This not only told me about Dr. Marchak's knowledge but also of his integrity. Over the years Dr Marchak and I have worked together to both save and restore my teeth with a long term plan. He and his father, Dr. Baldwin Marchack, have a diverse practice, from every day dental care to cosmetic dentistry and very complex dental repairs and restorations. Dr. Chris and his wonderful assistant Amber have been Godsends to me on every imaginable level. When they say they'll be there for you, they mean it. When it comes to his work, Dr. Chris is an artist of the highest caliber whose craftsmanship leaves other dentists breathless. He's highly creative, intuitive and sensitive and is willing and able to think outside the box when a problem arises. This is expensive stuff, and he's found ways to save me thousands of dollars. He's also saved me from myself on several occasions by encouraging me to stick out a rough patch rather than go backwards, all without losing his patience with me. I can't imagine a more difficult and challenging job than what he does: making people who have lost teeth as comfortable and happy with their appearance as they were when they had natural teeth. This isn't filling-cavities-dentistry; this is highly-exacting rocket science where a fraction of a millimeter can throw the whole works off. With a dental lab on site, quality control is virtually guaranteed and repairs are speedy. There's a reason Chris teaches dentists all over the world how to do what he does.
