"From the moment you walk in, you're met with genuine warmth, kindness, and professionalism. The entire team -- from the front desk to the hygienists to the dentist -- goes above and beyond to make every visit feel comfortable and positive. My wife and I always come in with our service dog, Teddy, and not only do they welcome him with open arms, but he genuinely loves being there because of the care and affection they show him. Special thanks to Suzie, Jean, Ana, and the rest of the incredible staff -- your compassion, consistency, and personal touch truly make all the difference. We happily drive all the way from Redondo Beach just to be treated by you, and it's absolutely worth it every time. Thank you for making all three of us feel like part of your dental family." read more

Have been a patient of this highly rated office 35-40 years. I'd say that Dr Baldwin is a perfectionist like most of his other DDS and hygeinists in the office. He frequently lectures and demonstrates his procedures at dental conventions domestically and internationally. His standards are hard to beat. Prices for the work done in this office can be pricey. If you don't meet the high standards of this office, you will not last long. I would not hesitate to recommend this office for dental work in their fields of specialities. read more

I had to have my front tooth removed due to a bad infection that traveled to my jawbone. My surgeon recommended I go see Dr. Marchack "if I wanted a perfect match" to my other teeth. Its my front tooth so of course I needed it perfect. I have veneers so the look of my smile is an investment and very important to me. Dr. Marchack is a perfectionist. My implant is not only perfect but its nicer than the veneers I have. I think he doesn't have a million reviews because he is word of mouth the master to go to. If you have a visible tooth that needs to be replaced and you want perfection GO SEE HIM!! He is not the cheapest but you get what you pay for with him. He has his own lab in house which is rare and why he can assure a perfect match. He was so patient with me and assured me my tooth would be white and match beautifully. Thank you Dr. Marchack, you're the best!!! read more

Pasadena Prosthodontics - My teeth so white and lovely after a teeth cleaning and polishing by Anna at Pasadena Prosthedontics!! - Periodontists Near Me - Pasadena, California

Dr. Baldwin Marchack of Pasadena Prosthodontists is a superb dentist, and I highly recommend him!! After my previous dentist had misdiagnosed an issue with one of my crowns and had damaged two of my back molars, leaving me with pain and the inability to chew properly or put my teeth together, Dr. Marchack really helped me. Dr. Marchack not only spent a lot of time diagnosing the issues, he also found an abscessed tooth. In addition, he provided a thorough explanation of what was wrong and a detailed plan to fix the problems. During a period of several months, Dr. Marchack very carefully repaired my teeth and corrected my bite. He saved my teeth, and I am so grateful. If I could give him ten Stars, I would. Thank you, Dr. Marchack!!! read more

I've been coming here for over 20 years now and I've always had a great experience. Mostly the hygienists I see are either Anna or Jean and they're both great! I always look forward to my appointments because I really enjoy catching up with them. The whole staff is prompt, professionally, and friendly, have great Covid measures in place, and are very communicative with appointment reminders and all those useful things. Alex also made me replacement retainers that were both a little cheaper and better quality than the ones I got from my orthodontist. read more

I've been coming here for pretty much my entire life and I've always had a good experience. The dentists are great, the space is great, the hygienists are great. Special shoutout to Anna and Jean for always making my visits fun and remembering way more about our conversations than makes sense for only seeing them twice a year. When I needed new retainers Alex made me a replacement that was made better and cost less than the one my orthodontist gave me. I'd recommend this dentist to anyone. :) read more

have been in the care of Dr. Marchak for many years. In all this time, there is no other dentist that I have seen who is like him. I have had routine dental care, cosmetic dentistry and dental repairs from when I was in an accident. His remarkable talent and dental skills are only equalled by his gentle, compassionate care. Whether it is addressing decay in a tooth or replacing a crown, his workmanship is perfection. And, I find it's  painless for me. Last week, after his replacing a crown that had decay beneath it, I felt no pain even hours later. I couldn't believe it, and decided to share my admiration for this wonderful dentist, his front office, his dental technicians and others in his practice who treat you as though you are family. If ever there were a dentist you can look forward to visiting, it's Dr. Marchak at Pasadena Prosthodontics. read more

I've been coming to Dr. Chris Marchack for over 20 years, and he and his team are truly the best! Dr. Chris is extremely bright, professional, knowledgeable, kind, caring, and he always makes time for each patient, so that no one feels rushed. His practice utilizes and implements the latest technology. Dr. Chris and Dr. Baldwin frequently lecture on implants, current and future trends, as well as the state of the industry--both Doctors are highly regarded and respected amongst their peers and in their field. Every patient is warmly and professionally welcomed by Marisa and Doreen, and I have never experienced a long wait time in the reception area. Doreen also arranges all of the beautiful orchids throughout the office, each arrangement is spectacular! Joan and Anna take great care as hygienists at teeth cleaning, and both are very calm and experienced! Alex and Amber are sweet, talented, kind, and hard working professionals. They're both gems! I hate to write a bad review but you may want to think twice about Christopher Marshack. I went to him because he has an in house lab, had great before and after pictures on his website and was recommended by a dentist who bought my old dentist's office. (My old dentist left me with an unfinished crown and a broken temporary) On my second visit with Dr Marshack, he said I needed three additional crowns on top of the three I came in for, we are talking many thousands. A second opinion reveled the additional three were unnecessary and there were more conservative, less costly treatment options available. He charges for temporaries and wanted to make two for the same tooth (rational - that an implant needs special planning that would require two) naturally I would have to pay for both costing hundreds each. When he made the first front tooth temporary, on my third visit, it was made too small, short and gray - looked awful - worse than what I came in with! When I was not happy, instead of trying to fix it or remake it, he blamed the dark color on the silver abutment of the implant (also implied my implant was inferior) and he blamed the shortness, on my bite. I was completely blindsided when he gave me the option of keeping the short gray temporary or leaving with the old, broken, crooked temporary and going to a different prosthodontist. I chose the latter. Though Dr. Marshack did not charge for the gray temporary, I was charged exam fees, X-rays and for initial office visits. I do want to thank Dr. Marshack for giving me the wise option of going to someone else who might better meet my expectations. Even though I was out several hundred, it was worth it. I went to a board certified prosthodontist who makes amazing undetectable temporaries, beautiful crowns, is professional and did the work with one temporary that was included in the cost of the crown. He is humble, (not in a flashy office), affordable - takes insurance and is an amazing artist.. Yes they are out there. Thank you Dr. Marshack for recommending I see someone else. read more

Seven years ago I began the search for a new dentist. Asking friends who, like myself, needed or has had lots of dental work my interview process was narrowed to 1 general dentist and 3 prosthodontists. Over the years I've lost much of the enamel on my teeth resulting in sometimes painful sensitivity. Dr. Chris Marchak was the last of the 4 dentists / prosthodontists that I interviewed and how lucky I was that a friend had recommended him. Dr. Marchak was the only one who immediately recognized the cause of the enamel erosion, Acid Reflux, and before treating my teeth Dr. Marchak said the cause needed to be treated first. This not only told me about Dr. Marchak's knowledge but also of his integrity. Over the years Dr Marchak and I have worked together to both save and restore my teeth with a long term plan. Dr. Marchak is one of the most patient professionals I've ever worked with, he is thorough in his explanations, including both causes and results, while providing options. I was shocked to read S H's review and would be surprised if there's more to the story than on the surface. Dr. Marchak's work is impeccable, the office professional and is highly recommend. read more

I've been going to Dr. Chris Marchack for about four years. He and his father, Dr. Baldwin Marchack, have a diverse practice, from every day dental care to cosmetic dentistry and very complex dental repairs and restorations. The staff here stands out for their technical skills and talent, but also for their compassion and ability to put you at ease. They make sure that you are comfortable as they work, and will adjust their work if you feel stressed. In professions that deal with people, the gathering of all these accomplished staff in one office is rare. The office is well laid out and the chairs and equipment are new and up to date. Treatment options and costs are clearly itemized and discussed. Dr. Chris takes considerable care to make sure that you understand the options, the length of time it will take and the cost. I found that all my questions were answered by the end of our conversations about the work to be done. I've found Dr. Chris to be empathetic and knowledgeable in his analyses, treatments, and understanding the needs of patients. There is a great deal of artistry in creating replacements for teeth that match a patient's appearance and personality. The quality of work is very high and that, in turn, gives you confidence as a patient. One thing I have learned from this office is that everyone working there is involved in your care: the front office admin staff, who are the public face of the office; the dental hygienists, who keep your teeth clean and are the early warning system; the technical staff of artists and sculptors who fabricate the crowns and bridges, and Dr. Chris and his assistants. They have all worked together a long time and their ease with each other is reflected in their treatment of patients. It's a cheerful, light filled office, and a pleasant place to go. read more

I'm a tiny woman whose small mouth leaves very little margin for error and on top of it I'm impatient, claustrophic and high strung. Dr. Chris and his wonderful assistant Amber have been Godsends to me on every imaginable level. When they say they'll be there for you, they mean it. They are kind, compassionate and sensitive to the highest degree and even on his busiest day, Chris makes time for you and makes you feel like you're his only patient. When it comes to his work, Dr. Chris is an artist of the highest caliber whose craftsmanship leaves other dentists breathless. He's highly creative, intuitive and sensitive and is willing and able to think outside the box when a problem arises. This is expensive stuff, and he's found ways to save me thousands of dollars. He's also saved me from myself on several occasions by encouraging me to stick out a rough patch rather than go backwards, all without losing his patience with me. I can't imagine a more difficult and challenging job than what he does: making people who have lost teeth as comfortable and happy with their appearance as they were when they had natural teeth. This isn't filling-cavities-dentistry; this is highly-exacting rocket science where a fraction of a millimeter can throw the whole works off. With a dental lab on site, quality control is virtually guaranteed and repairs are speedy. There's a reason Chris teaches dentists all over the world how to do what he does. You won't find a more enlightened, skilled, humble or caring prosthsodontist anywhere else on the planet. read more

Dr. Chris is literally the best doctor I've had in my entire life, hands down! His technical skills are phenomenal and his bedside manner is wonderful! I love everyone in this practice: the front desk is super friendly and helpful, the hygienists are excellent, and Amber, Dr. Chris' assistant extraordinaire, is lovely. I came to this practice with a severe dentist-phobia after having a terribly botched and nightmarish crown procedure elsewhere. Dr. Chris spent the next year doing several procedures to fix my awful teeth and botched crown, always with extreme care and attention to my fears and anxieties. Every procedure was pain free and resulted in an excellent outcome. I couldn't be happier with this practice! A+++! read more

Dr. Chris Marchack and his team restructured my teeth, and changed my life forever. I underwent 9 operations since I was a baby in order to fix my cleft palate. Going to the dentist does not get any better than this in fact my experience with Dr. Christopher Marchack and his staff exceeded my expectations in so many ways. First and most importantly, I felt very well taken care of from the moment I stepped into the office and throughout the procedure. Each step of the procedure was explained thoroughly by Dr. Marchack and his wonderful assistant Amber. Secondly, the results of the restoration are truly amazing!
