There are a number of stores, offices, and food establishments located in this beautiful building. It is worth walking in to see the incredible staircase. It is nice to take a look at the directory as you can see that there are a number of places that are worth window shopping or utilizing their special expertise. I have often used the tailor and enjoyed a cup of coffee with one of their small tables located in The colonnade. A couple of other stores I have made use of are the salons. The Strength Shoppe is a one-on-one workout studio with excellent, knowledgeable staff. The last time I was there I noticed a number of new opportunities for a discerning shopper. While you can enter from the South Lake Avenue entrance you can also enter from the Shoppers Lane entrance. There are some outside patio tables available for enjoying the weather. Parking is convenient if you use the South Lake Avenue Parking Area alongside Shoppers Lane. When you park here READ THE SIGNS CAREFULLY. Follow the instructions carefully. These lots are monitored constantly. There are times during the day and evening when there is free parking. Never assume that you have a short time to park for free! I remember WAY back in the day when PMX used to be here and that was my experience going around the Paseo, but I guess nowadays, the only reason I'd be here is due to Cat Con or if I ever wanted to, Anime Pasadena. No matter what you do, unless you're super lucky somehow and can read signs, you will have to pay for parking or if you're okay walking from super far away. Currently, the Paseo is home to these businesses: -Regal Theaters -Panini Kabob Grill -Bath and Body Works -Equinox (lol) -DSW -Starbucks -Wushiland -Yard House (perfect for anime cons) There's also some jewelry stores, a book store, I think, the antique mall, and more stores I guess for people who live nearby. There's way better options in other parts of Pasadena that don't cost as much to park at. Unless I really have to, I wouldn't have to go out of my way to go here, more enjoyable parts of Pasadena with more dining and shopping options for sure.

Alas those days are long gone and my grandpa can no longer drive, a bit sad and a bit nostalgic to look back on, I digress. It's a huge mall and I definitely prefer it over going to the Americana across the street (free parking here and such), but again, it's a huge mall that attracts all around, so parking can get quite busy, especially on the weekends, so keep that in mind. I like that there's an attached Target and lots of shopping and dining options. They have all of the franchises that you find at a standard mall and at a higher end mall too, so you get a good mix of both. There's an Apple Store, Beard Papa (not many of these left sadly), Bath and Body Works, Heytea, Hot Topic, Kura, Lacoste, Lush, Marugame Udon, Miniso, Molly Tea, Pop Mart, the Lego Store (I remember visiting this as a child), Uniqlo, Tokyo Life Style, etc. There's a markedly newer and lively part of the mall and when you go to the periphery, there's a strange mini floor on one of the top floors and the crowds start parsing through. It used to be the only mall where we could get some of these franchises and foods or we'd have to travel more into the OC, but now that the Santa Anita mall has almost every business that I would need, going to the Glendale Galleria is a once in awhile treat if we're already in the area.

After that, we all had dinner together at Kura Sushi. After dinner at Kura Sushi, I decided to pick up another kabob to go for my other brother at home. As I was walking back to Kura Sushi with the food, I passed by the restroom area near the food court and a kiosk that appeared to offer eyebrow tattooing services. A Hispanic female janitor was cleaning the area. My mom had called me and was asking me to come back quickly, so I was walking at a very fast pace with the takeout order in my hand. Suddenly, the female janitor jabbed me in the arm and started speaking angrily in Spanish. I couldn't understand a single word she was saying, and I was completely shocked by her behavior. I assume that because I was walking quickly to get back to my mom, I may not have noticed that she had placed a caution sign and was cleaning that section of the floor. Perhaps I accidentally walked through the area she was working on. Even so, I found it completely unacceptable for someone to jab me in the arm like that. To make matters worse, she kept speaking to me in Spanish, which I could not understand. I honestly thought her behavior was very inappropriate. I simply responded, "Please speak English and do not touch me, OK?" My mom was waiting for me and wanted to leave right away, so I didn't have time to continue the conversation and just walked away. However, the more I think about what happened that day, the more upset it makes me. I sincerely hope I never experience something this unpleasant again. Glendale Galleria should do a better job of training its employees on how to interact respectfully with customers.

Since it was first built in 1980 this has been a premier location for shops, offices, boutiques, and coffee. It is often one of the best places along the Southlake shopping quarter to meet up with friends. The architecture is stunning, fashioned after the Burlington arcade in London. The ceiling is made up of skylights covering the entire corridor from the Lake Avenue entrance to the Shoppers Lane entrance. For many years the businesses and offices along here have been known for their friendly service. They have benches and tables for customers. There is a parking lot along Shoppers Lane with paid parking. There are areas that have free parking with time limits. Please read the signs carefully so that you don't end up taking home a ticket as a souvenir. But there is usually plenty of parking depending upon the time of year and time of day. Walking through this area always puts a smile on my face. I look forward to coming back and just enjoying the incredible architecture and it's attention to detail.

And there's a very large collection of pottery, including bowls, dishes and coffee mugs. This place is an excellent place to shop for those who are intrigued by foreign cultures. And the prices are extremely reasonable. And besides for being reasonable, you can find nice pieces in the under ten dollar range, well into the one hundred and fifty or more. I also have no qualms about the authenticity of any of the pieces I interacted with (a TON) - so I would trust shopping with them and will shop again for sure. Ended up with a pink Lagerfeld-era Chanel jacket and a fabulous UN-USED Chanel tote. I am a gown girl, and AMT Vintage was beautiful dress & gown Nirvana... pure bliss! The dressing room is glamorous, loved the atmosphere/ambience while slipping into every gown, dress & especially the gorgeous Chloe slip dress... beautiful! Large mirror as well, which was helpful! Customer Service: The moment I stepped in, I was greeted by the two girls that work there! They were genuinely friendly & easy-going! They immediately asked if I was searching for something in particular! Once I told them about the theme of the upcoming event, they immediately pulled gowns of different styles for me, and started my dressing room! Their excitement & enthusiasm to help try to find the best gown/dress added to my enthusiasm as well! Hahaha! It was a super fun experience!
