We had been to many open…read morehouses in the area due to our search for a home with a range of experiences from not greeting us or talking to us at all to being totally friendly and answering our questions, but not being able to answer because they weren't the actual listing agent and didn't know much about the property and everything in between. However, something was very obviously and immediately different about Laura that we hadn't seen. You can tell that she really loves what she does and is passionate about the process. I was impressed by her compassion towards us, her care and attention to the property and her sellers and even having an extra event and inviting the neighbors. Who does that? Anyone would be lucky to work with her and I would definitely recommend her.

They also reacted to us touring them around our unit in real time, and I felt more confident as they were honest with what they would do or change from the outset, rather than saying what they thought I might want to hear. They have deep expertise, selling over 100 properties a year, so they have a very good beat on the current market and what works to sell your home to meet your goals (in our case, we hoped to reach a certain price quickly because we already had plans to move out). The team is deep and goes beyond just Jason and Laura. They have several other team members that specialize in different services, as well. We interacted with Alex and Mike who helped us ready our property for the open houses, and were always available to answer questions. If you wish, they will also put together a "transformation contract" where they will pay up front for work to be done to the property (e.g., painting, handyman jobs, staging) and then will take their payment out of escrow after the property sells. Also, the team does not take any percentage of those quotes - all the money goes to the contractors. To me, this not only reflected their confidence in their ability to sell the property, but also was just genuinely helpful from a cash flow perspective, while also supporting local contractors. We went this route, and it was quite amazing, as they managed everything from scheduling, to letting people in the house, payment, etc. It was a seamless process. Then when once we got an offer, their transaction manager, Alma, was super helpful in answering all of our questions about the closing process. I was initially a little concerned after we signed to work with them and I saw all the other properties they were currently selling as pretty much all of them were substantially more expensive than our property as they were luxury single family homes. In other words, I was worried we could be seen as lower priority because we wouldn't make them nearly as much money as sales of these other properties. However, not once during the entire process did I feel that way in practice. Our questions and concerns were always responded to immediately, and above and beyond what I expected. I had a fair bit of anxiety during the process as it was the first time we had sold a property, but Laura was there to sooth my anxieties and help me through every stage of the process. Jason, Laura and the entire team are not only pros, but just great and kind people. I cannot think of any feedback I would provide in a constructive manner as we were very happy, well informed throughout the whole process and ended up with a result we were very happy with. I would absolutely work with the Berns team again and recommend them whole heartedly.

Recently I had to…read moreleave the US long term and I needed a good management company to take care of my properties (which I built and renovated myself as a General Contractor ) My properties are very close to my heart also because the freedom that they offer, it was my dream come true to own these. Unfortunately, The first Managment company which I hired was just not on top of things. During the first year out of the US I was suffering greatly hwhile working with that company , it was a fairytale dream turning into a nightmare . When I finally let them go I hired Neena and her team, letting them take over the mess. Right from the get go I felt the difference. Honesty, communication, reliability and hands on approach are just a few of the qualities Neena at Designation properties has to offer. Neena also inherited a challenging situation from the previous management company and she took it on like a pro, putting the pieces back together while giving me a chance to some true Owner peace of mind. I'm so grateful for having someone to trust with my assets, especially in my delicate situation. My actions speak louder than words, I left my most valuable properties, my life's work, in the hands of Neena and Designation Properties while permanently living 8000 miles away. I think that pretty much sums it up.

From Ben, Neena, Olivia and the rest of the team each person I've dealt with listen to the requests made and immediately act upon it to ensure tenants are comfortable and secure within their living quarters. I've had experiences with other management companies that won't care to follow up with requests or issues but rather blame individuals or make them live with the inconvenience and just collect their monthly rent. Great to work but even better people!!

    Long story short, moved from the Bay Area to SoCal for a new job and needed a place within my…read morebudget and close to the office. Saw a condo Real Property Management was representing in Alhambra and set up a time to view. Huge upside that you have the ability to schedule a time online rather than having to play phone tag with someone to set up a time. Got multiple text reminders and then showed up at the location at the date and time and Richard was waiting outside. I didn't know who I was looking for which is a little odd but he was outside the building and easy to find. Robert did a great job with the showing. Wasn't pushy at all and was happy to answer questions. Once I applied I got a call from him in 2 hours saying my credit checked out and if I was really interested he'd call the owner. Before the end of that same day I had my lease to review and e-sign. I reached out to Richard to see if I could get into the unit before my move in to take measurements so I could order furniture. He was able to find a time on the day I requested and let me take all the time I wanted in the unit. And gave me the heads up that their was a Living Spaces close by! He didn't have to give me all the extra tips but he did. Once it was time to drop off my deposit and do my check in I worked with Josie. She is so nice and super helpful. She sent me the numbers for all the utilities so I could get them set up. The check in process was easy and straightforward. The fact that everything is online; documents, rent payments and maintenance requests makes life so much easier. After seeing over a dozen places and dealing with a handful of property management groups I'm so grateful I was able to find a place with Real Property Management. Richard and Josie are hands down the most responsive and nicest of all the people I dealt with. Hope to stay with their properties for as long as I need a rental.

We had to evacuate and our lease agreement stated…read morethat if any natural disaster were to affect our living situation then RPM were to be responsible for handling it. Long story short we got no confirmation of any kind of help for over 2 months. 2 months of staying in hotels wondering what would happen to our lives. We ended up moving somewhere else and hiring our own vendors to basically do their job. On top of it all they're withholding a hefty portion of our deposit for "trash" even though we paid a private vendor to completely vacate the property. They claim they have pictures but refuse to send. Yuumi. Kaye. If you're reading this, I want you to know that I think you should be ashamed of yourself. The amount of bad reviews this company has makes so much sense now. You both have no decency or empathy. I don't wish you well and I hope you guys get what's coming to you.
