I called this place today and they told me they were open. I asked if they sell piñatas which they told me they do. I then said I would be in shortly. I arrived a half an hour later (after driving 20 minutes out of my way), only to find the door was locked and no one was there. I had just finished a meal next door. I noticed all of the Pinatas on display. One caught my eye, one which looked like a Corona Beer Bottle. A good friend of mine has the last name of Corona, so I had to check it out. Although the gal working there was on the phone she still gave me very friendly service with a smile. If you're local to Livermore, this is a great place to get your party favors and most especially get those huge foil balloons filled with helium! I have brought a couple numbered foil balloons here in the past few months and always really nice people and it's only $6 to fill up a 42" foiled number balloon! They fill up the balloon, add whichever color string you want to the balloon, and make the ends curly! I usually buy a balloon weight here and it's about $1.50. Not only did I pay $80 to have balloons blown up (see picture), but they deflated the very next day! Not that I needed them the next day, but I was told by the woman who helped me that there was a helium shortage which was why it cost so much to fill the balloons. Helium balloons should stay inflated for longer than A DAY! I do not recommend this business at all. read more

They were clearly trying to rip me off. For anyone visiting this store, make sure you ask for the full price as they don't list any prices up front and make things up as they go. Came in here for balloons. The cashier quoted me the foil balloons I wanted were around $6 dollars each and the weight was $1.5. So I got 4 balloons. Cashier's mom later showed up and rang me up and said total $70 for 4 balloons. I was so shocked and all kind of shady excuses started to flow in: *quoted wrong for the smaller sized balloons * initial quote didn't include helium (who does that?) * Then went on saying the balloons with air is more like $17. There's another older yelp review with a picture stating $6 to fill up a big 42" balloon!! Clearly a huge discrepancy * taxes (which they claimed $.50 taxes for an $1.5 item) * counted one too many balloon (how do you miscount 4 balloons. Is not like 40.) In the end the total came out to be $63 after they "fixed" the taxes and balloon count. No receipt, no price list. read more

I ordered balloons for my niece and nephews from the States. I had tried to work with several other party companies in their area and no one would help me. Danny worked me with over a week to virtually order Balloons for all three kids and managed separate weekend deliveries. Then when it came to payment and I couldn't work out how to call internationally, Danny came to my rescue. Truly outstanding service and he even sent me pictures of the kids receiving their balloons. I'm not one to leave a bad review, but I'm not sure how Partyland is still in business. I called last week and asked about dropping off balloons today and scheduling a pick up this Saturday for my son's birthday party. I thought this would be great to support a local business, but when I went by today, they were closed (11:10am on a Wednesday). I called the number on the door, and no one answered. At this point, I cannot put my faith in a business with no set hours of operation and no one answering the phone. I guess I will be taking my business to the big corporate (reliable) store instead. read more

I loved my experience at this business. They were so very helpful in every step of the rental process that I cannot recommend them enough! Their response time and customer service was amazing. I think the gentleman i met initially his name was Alejandro. He patiently explained the prices and availability to us. Later i started interacting with Jacky and she too was super helpful. All tables chair were delivered on time. Also i had given her some balloons to be inflated and delivered on the day of the party and a few were damaged and she still repaired them somehow (god knows how she managed) and made sure the bouquets looked great on that day. Rented a cotton candy machine and it did not work. They said I could have called and they would help me fix it....really at 9pm on a Saturday? They have hours posted on the door but they are never there when I have stopped by needing something during the week over the past year, I've stopped 5x and none of those times they have been open. A few times I went the open sign was on, but no one was there! Very frustrating, if your not going to stand by your hours why list them! Plus no one ever answers the phone!
