We had this party on a heat wave weekend and we ended up having a power outage. My husband and I hired Mark to bring a bouncy castle to our 7yr old daughter's birthday party. We had the best experience with Mark and the bouncy castle from start to finish. It was easy to reserve the castle, he provided all the documents quickly and was clear on the details of the policy around using it. He delivered the castle promptly at the agreed upon time, got it all set up, washed and dried so the whole thing was clean for use then quickly walked us through the rules of use (no sticky items in the castle!). We were glad that the rental was clear and straightforward, as we had enough on our minds with getting the rest of the birthday party going. The kids were absolutely delighted to have it at the party and they spent the whole day chasing each other around on the castle. Mark was prompt and on time for the pickup, he made sure to give us the full 6 hours of rental time before showing back up to collect the castle. Mark was very friendly through the whole process. He showed us a new lawn toy (a toy plastic throwing axe set) that we also rented with the bouncy castle and this was a huge hit with both the kids and the parents. Entertainment for kiddies made easy! I had a week and a half before her birthday and Monster Fun jumps saved the day! 25 two to five year olds, entertained in a jumper for 3 hours! I called, had the website on the computer for reference. Mark came out to measure the yard, and we chose the 3-1 jumper. He called the day before with a confirmation and a time of set up. He arrived, turned the jumper to the direction of my liking, staked it down into the ground (I was worried about Dublin wind),even vacuumed the insides before leaving. I was referred to Mark by the folks at the Alameda County Fair. He is one of the preferred vendors that they use. He has done parties from just your average house party, to a several hundred person party/carnival. I was very impressed with not only the professionalism and availability, but also the inventory this company has. Their website is comprehensive and easy to navigate. After writing my review I got a voice mail from the owner and then decided to check yelp and saw that the owner gave himself a five star review in response to my post. Yes I did want to rent a cotton candy machine, but after constant calling I no longer wanted to from this company. I did have my child in the same room with me and like any small child she wanted to talk on the phone and I told her "not right now I was on the phone". In response to me trying to get her to be a bit quite he responded with "I can't hear you over that kid", I am sorry but that is rude to say that about any child when I was walking away from her so I could better hear. I realize that many places want a deposit for renting something, but I am a mother and I do have a job so somethings just fall a bit lower on my list. Anyone who has a child understands that things can get a bit busy. I never said I was going to call right back, I said I would call when I had the opportunity. I was going to call back and give the credit card number but due to all the calls I was getting I was discussing with my husband that I wanted to rent from someone that would not bug me. I did cancel and I have every right to change my mind and not rent from a person or to change the theme of the party to better fit what my child would like. And my bad if pink and blue are what the bottles say, maybe they should be called what they are colors not flavors. After I booked our water-slide I had little buyers remorse... this all changed about 5 minutes after delivery. My daughter's smile as she came down the slide was totally worth every dime! I used Monster Jumps for my son's 4th birthday party. I had a regular jumper with a spiderman banner, and it looked great! Mark came on time and set it up in a blink of an eye. He was very professional and sweet. Jumper was clean and without any visible damage, so I felt it was safe. Kids loved it! They take basically any form of payment on the spot, cash, charge, check..whatever works for you. When I reserved it, there was a $25 deposit that is non refundable, but transferable within 12 months, which I think is more than reasonable. I would use them again in a heart beat! read more

We were looking for a sno cone machine for my son's 12th birthday party.... we decided to get the SHAVED ICE machine instead... and we were thrilled. The machine is much easier to use, just a quick press with your foot on the button and a quick "smash" of the cone into the mold. The kids loved the shaved ice -- even in the pouring rain.
