They are back open and with a new restaurant configuration! All the drinks and self serve veggies and seafood are located in the front. While the sauce bar, steamed food is along the wall. Our party of 9 was able to get seated upon arrival on a weekend around 7pm. The staff were helpful, clearing plates and offering drinks that our party might enjoy. We had a great dinner and would recommend to anyone looking for a quality ayce spot in sf!

    We got two soup bases.

Been here once months ago. Looks like very temporary setup kind of place. Food was okay. Stay away from the steamer din sum. Not good at all. Prices very reasonable. The soup base was pretty good! Fun to try new places. This is more of a 3.5 stars bumping up. Located on Geary Blvd and Palm Ave.

They are temporary closed since they're adding Karaoke rooms in the back. The food is good for the price you're paying and the service is good as well. It tends to be a bit slow when they're full but that's to be expected.

    ayce includes drinks!!

I heard from a little birdie that this place will be shutting its doors permanently on ~Oct 1st~. It's been a good run. Hopefully the rumors are false. Thanks for all the great food, hustle, service, hh deals, and smiles! I enjoyed the extra touch of rotating new and different items each week. Update: Turned out Sept 28th was their last day. Wishing the owners the best w/ their next venture! Update 2: A sign posted on their door mentioned they'll be back on Sat Oct 18th!

This was my second time going for early happy hour to party pig. You need to keep an eye out on The menu as it changes each time I go. The items like the happy spoon and hamachi sashimi was gone from the menu. The rest of the food was still a bargain for the price you pay. Don't expect to get everything you order. The staff is still very friendly. There is now an extra charge of 4% surcharge for sf mandate added to each bill. We ordered the tonkotsu broth - very savory. Everyone enjoyed their meal. We didn't get everything. Missing was the Kalbi and other items. The desserts change but they have a nice variety. The menu taped on the front window is different from the menu they give you.

Do NOT come to this party. Like Star Wars says, "it's a trap!" This party is the worst party I've ever been to, and I'm still feeling sick from eating here. First off we got here an HOUR early just to get in. We had to fight off people lying about being there early, or about their party size, and trying to cut the line. About the only good thing is the all you can drink refrigerated drinks. But, how can you mess that up when it's all store bought? Let's dive into the worst sushi of the decade. Tuna that looks like mangled beef from the Texas Chainsw massacre but with the taste of Jason from Friday the 13th, putrid and fishy and rotting for gosh knows how long. This place is truly a horror story, and it's not even Halloween. I felt like puking more times than Stan from South Park. I had to grab my napkins and spit out the sushi so many times that the only half edible thing was the unagi and the uni. The tuna, beef, scallop thing, omakese crap, all were as unappetizing as Freddy Krugers face. I don't care if it's $20, it could be $5 and it still wouldn't be worth the horrible taste it left in our mouths. This was by far one of the worst Japanese foods I've ever had, and I've had Japanese food in the South and abroad. Wow, this is such a stomach churning mess. Turn around, run, and don't look back. Don't let the price or the long lines lure you into this horror show where fish is putrid, service is slow, and the bathrooms have floors more slippery than Saw 1.

CHECK YOUR CREDIT CARD STATEMENT AFTER IT CLEARS! It was our second time at Party Pig and probably our last! We made a reservation for 10 people @ 6:30pm. My husband got there around 6:20pm and multiple workers walked right by him. He went up to where a few workers were gathered, just talking and laughing. He said he was there for a reservation and they looked lost. It took them a few minutes to find the reservation and then said they needed 10 minutes to get our table set up. Once we were seated around 6:45pm, we started ordering. Service is a mess and there's no real rhythm or sense of structure despite there being more workers than the previous time we had come. The hot pot food came out pretty quickly but the sushi took a while. After an hour, as we were getting full, that's when most of our sushi came. We did our best to power through but we were pretty full, so we ended up not eating around 1/2 of the sushi. We asked for the bill from 3 different people before it was brought over. There were 8 servers on the floor just chilling but it took forever for us to get the check! My husband looked over the bill, took his card out, and handed the bill and card over to the server, who had been standing there. When he handed the server his card, that's when the server said we had left too much food and would need to pay. They charged us an extra $20 for wasting food. My husband was totally okay paying the extra cost because we couldn't finish the sushi but why didn't they charge us before handing us the bill? We already waited forever for our bill to come. We ended up leaving cash tip because we had the cash. HOWEVER, a few days later, when I was going through my credit card statement, I noticed a discrepancy between what we had been charged at the restaurant and what was showing up in the statements. Luckily, we still had the receipt and saw that the restaurant HAD OVERCHARGED US $32!! That means they wrote in an extra $32 on top of the cash tip that we had left and hoped we wouldn't notice. That's so dishonest and bad business practice. I hope no one ever has to go through the poor service, slow service, and PURPOSEFUL overcharge that we had to go through.

There's no denying that for $30 AYCE sushi, hot pot, AND drinks (including alcohol) that Party Pig is a great deal. Their happy hour is even more impressive, however I found the timing to be quite misleading. The later happy hour time was originally 9pm, which was also what's advertised online. When we arrived, we were informed that it was changed to 10pm, which is quite strange. Service itself was fine - it wasn't very busy on Friday around 9, but we had to flag the waiter down a few times and they never brought one of our orders. The ordering is on a piece of paper, and there are plenty of options for both sushi and hot pot. The portion of the hot pot beef was quite large, 4x more than the lamb (which we didn't order - we ordered pork belly). The sushi was surprisingly good. I was impressed by the premium options (limit 1 order per person), and the happy spoon was one of my favorite bites of the night. You're limited to 3 rounds total for both hot pot and sushi, and for sushi there is a limit of 3 orders per person. They also randomly have bulk Costco snacks like hot Cheetos, a nice palate cleanser, lots of types of ramen, and popsicles. Their drinks were extensive - bottled matcha lattes, strawberry milk, sodas, teas, etc. For the service that was okay, ambiance that isn't upscale in any way but not exactly dingy, and food that had some pleasant surprises, I give Party Pig a solid 4 stars given the price point.

Pork Belly Skewers | AYCE HH - $19.95 pp

Let's be real, many HH spots can burn a hole in your wallet esp when the dranks start flowing.... Mmmm, that "$25" Tomahawk looking really good on the menu.....blurry (actual price: $250). And, then there's Party Pig. For less than a HH cocktail at Joey, you can go ham on ALL the sashimi, sushi, hot pot, alkie, and desserts you want. Because during HH, it's AYCE and AYCD for ONLY $19.95. Soft opening last week, Party Pig is from the owner of popular HH hot spots in the city like Public Izakaya, Bubu, NONO, AYCE Shoryuken (SSF), and the defunct Ko. I think they only accept rezzies for large parties. Only complete parties will be seated. Line didn't start until 15 minutes before opening but this will def change once it gets blasted on socials. =( M E N U AYCE - Apps, sushi (sashimi, nigiri, rolls), hot pot, yakitori, etc + AYCD (canned drinks, beer, wine, soju, sake) for $29.95. There's also AYCE self-serve snacks, dim sum, and desserts (häagen-dazs, melona, etc.) HH everyday at 4:30 pm (you have to arrive/be seated at this time), and 9 pm - 11 pm: $19.95 (for all of the above). The only surcharge is $2 if you want a split pot (two broths) for hot pot. R U L E S - Minimum two people - 90 minute limit (OT is $20 pp) - Each person can only order 4 items per round - Premium items like A5 wagyu, omakase, toro, uni, etc is limited to 1 item per person - Wasted food is charged market price D R I N K S Didn't drink alkie but I was impressed with their non-alkie bottled drinks: sodas, lacroix, genki forest sparkling water, tea, matcha latte, frapps, coconut water, and asian juices. F O O D We stuck with apps and sushi, skipped the hot pot. My fav items: gelatinous chicken feet, thiccc and buttery sake sashimi, juicy pork belly skewers, smoky rich torched salmon nigiri, and the omakase which included premium items like uni and sake toro. They have roasted nori in the snack area that we used to make mini handrolls. To nitpick, I wasn't a fan of the bluefin tuna but quality may vary depending on supply. Also, omakase nigiri will vary based on who's making it. S E R V I C E Friendly owner and staff. Have to be mindful that they're understaffed and still training. On our visit, a large group threw a wrench in their flow, staff was hella hustling and doing their best but parts of our order was missing and/or never arrived. We were full by then so it was fine. A M B I A N C E Casual and kitschy, you come here for value driven food not aesthetics. There's over 20 tables and they can accommodate large groups but personally, I think dining in a smaller group will put a lot less strain on the staff and to better ensure you receive your order. P A R K I N G Metered and residential parking. Overall, Party Pig is offering the BEST value dinner in the city. Period. Come with patience, grace, and stretchy pants...and you'll be good!

We arrived at 4:45pm on a Thursday. We were a party of 2 and got seated at 6:10pm. There is no waitlist, just a line. If you are a group of 5 or more you can call ahead to make a reservation. Currently the deal is $19.95/pp for AYCE sushi and hot pot and AYCD if you dine in at 4:30pm or between 9pm-11pm everyday. Otherwise it's $29.95/pp which is still an awesome deal. Especially when it includes alcohol and desserts! I saw 4 steamers that I can only assume had dim sum in them but 2 were completely emptied and 2 had 1pc of dim sum. During the entire dine in, none of them were refilled. I even left the lids off of them to get the staff's attention but they remained empty. Maybe this was a special for the first round of diners only? We placed our first round of orders at 6:15pm. We opted out for the hot pot. Good thing too because we noticed tables didn't get their soup until 20-30 mins after sitting down. Our sakes came out within 3 mins and soon after, our sushi 8 mins later. The yuzu sake was served in a drinking cup with ice. This caused some spilling when poured into the shot glasses. They also have several choices of beer, soda, and non alcoholic drinks. Lots of variety. Plus desserts such as matcha cheesecake, crepe cake and flan to name a few. Note the menu tends to change a bit, either items are added, moved or removed. We placed our 2nd order at 6:45pm. We noticed a few items hadn't come out from the first round such as the happy spoons and wagyu skewers. We mentioned it to one of the staffs but they still had not come out after the 90 mins limit had passed. We anticipated they were busy and we certainly ate our $29.95/pp worth so we didn't mind. Although 2 larger groups that came after us had gotten their happy spoons, so it seems like they focus more on the bigger tables. However we found the staffs to be friendly and doing their best. I do suggest taking a photo of your order, a couple of times an item was brought to our table which we didn't order. Overall the sushi was fresh and tasty. We enjoyed most items. Although we were not a fan of the rice, it was a bit hard and fell apart sometimes. If you want the $19.95/pp deal you definitely want to get there before 4:30pm when they open, otherwise $29.95/pp is still a bargain for the variety and quality you are getting.

Party pigged out for AYCE and drink happy hour which included hot pot, skewers, sushi. Pick your soup base, proteins, alcohol on the checklist. Veggies, sauces, non alcoholic drinks and prepackaged desserts are self serve. Stand outs include Happy spoon (ikura, Uni, scallop) Abalone chicken feet Shrimp with roe Cucumber salad Grilled oysters (with garlic and spicy!) We made a reservation but there was initially a mix up which they promptly fixed. Staff are busy and orders do come a bit slow but they are attentive. Vibe is your typical Ayce spot with multiple tables.

The best experience for me and my family! Their AYCE Sushi is better than the one in Hayward I would say. The vibe was relaxed, and the staff checked on us often without being intrusive. The hot pot ingredients were fresh and the broth had really good flavor. Their sushi selections were surprisingly good for an AYCE spot. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. Sushis came out big and fast. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're craving both hot pot and sushi in one go. Prices were so affordable! $21.95 for happy hour and $29.95 for dinner. I'll definitely be back and recommend!

Best bang for your buck, especially in the City (if you're going to happy hour!) Happy hour here is from 4-5pm I believe and also 9:30-10:30pm. My family came here around 9:30pm ish, and got sat around 9:45pm. Service seemed disorganized but we gave them grace as this place just opened this month. Their ordering system could definitely be better because we did miss a bunch of items that we ordered. You are given a paper menu to order, up to 3 rounds. However I've seen how easy it is to lose track of what you ordered and what has been given out to tables. I do suggest an ipad for ordering system! Additionally, service was extremely slow. Kitchen was backed up and we didn'd receive sushi until the last 30 minutes of our service. Hotpot meats did come out faster. Some items I wouldn't recommend would be the fried oysters (too fishy), and the curry samosas (dry). I believe that if you order the american wagyu meat, it comes with 2 portion sizes already. Their rolls look a lil funny, maybe it was how they cut the fish - but it's different. POSITIVES: their salmon ikura roll is pretty decent, bluefin toro was great and the american wagyu was amazing! Drinks are included in the AYCE, and we got 2 bottles of soju. All in all, it's decent for $20pp, but I ended up getting sick and throwing up in the bathroom which has never happened to me before.

It honestly felt like we were ordering with a friend who just happens to know the entire menu inside and out. She gave amazing recommendations and even told us she makes the hot sauce from scratch (which... you can taste the difference). That level of care really set the tone for the whole night. Now the food... not a single miss. Seriously, not one thing we didn't like. We went with the Ultra menu ($108), which includes lobster, and it was 100% worth it. For broths, we chose the Tom Yum and Tonkotsu. Both were rich, flavorful, and perfect in completely different ways. The meat selection was incredible, especially the wagyu options, they literally melt in your mouth. You can tell the quality is top tier. The flame-torched wagyu nigiri was absolutely out of this world--perfectly balanced and paired with a wasabi powder that elevated every bite. We also had the hamachi cloud, which was so fresh, flavorful, and had the perfect crunch--such a standout dish. And the spicy clams? Easily one of our favorites. Super fresh, super tasty, and packed with flavor. Beyond the food, the entire staff made us feel genuinely welcomed, which made the experience even better. The location is perfect. It's right in the center of Japantown. Inside they have a bar where you can sit and talk with the servers face-to-face. And it's a great spot to people watch while you eat. I truly cannot recommend this place enough. Between the incredible quality, the variety, and the next-level service. This is a spot I'll be coming back to again and again (and yes, I'll absolutely be asking for Irene).

YakiniQ really said "leave hungry? never heard of her."…read more Pulled up with my homie Jun because this man treated me to lobster last time and you already know... Asians keep receipts but in a wholesome way We don't split love, we rotate blessings. For $49.99/person, this AYCE Korean BBQ was straight violating my self-control. The short ribs?? HELLA BUSSIN. Like actually criminal. Every bite had me ascending like a TikTok food review in 4K. Meat so juicy I almost stood up and thanked the cow personally. The grill smoke got us smelling like seasoned warriors walking outta there but honestly worth it. Staff kept the meats coming faster than my auntie asking why I'm still single. And let me put y'all onto some elite Chinese vocabulary real quick: "好吃到舔手指" (hǎo chī dào tiǎn shǒu zhǐ) = "so good you lick your fingers." That's EXACTLY the vibe. Finger-licking good fr fr. YakiniQ got me fighting for my life, unbuttoning my pants in the parking lot, and already planning my return. 10/10. No crumbs left. Their "Red Hot" peanut sauce is the carry here - no doubt. Highly recommend with my utmost respectful regards!

Granted we were a bit late for our reservation, we ended up having to wait another 30-40 mins. The place (2nd floor) is small & awkward. We were all cramped waiting on the stairway and the actual seating area is also fairly small for a busy KBBQ place/big parties. The 8 of us squeezed into a booth with 2 chairs on the side. You can also feel whenever the table next to us got up and stomped/yelled/moved in their chairs-- which was really often. The basic AYCE menu is fairly limited-- esp for the side options. The marinated meats were pretty good as was the tteokbokki. Side & meat portions were alright, but the kicker is having to flag down staff to make sure they put in the order & bring it out. We asked for japchae about 5 times before it actually reached our table towards the end of our meal. The server/manager also told us that he had accidentally brought out 2 bottles of soju for us and that he'd COMP 1 bottle. We didnt notice that he had actually charged us for 2 and comped/subtracted a "third" one. So none were really comped at all. I just realized after we paid and that felt really sketchy. Idk if it's worth coming back here.
