false advertising, liars, cons, YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU ORDER September 14th, 2013 at 4:49am PT I had placed an order from "Parts Breakers" for a part titled "Cherokee XJ Cruise Speed Control Vacuum Canister Front Bumper Ball 97-01 XJ 55035902" I own a 1998 Jeep Cherokee XJ and was in need of a replacement vacuum reservoir ball. As you can imagine they are hard to find. As soon as I came across the one advertised by "Parts Breakers" for a "97-01 Cherokee XJ" I was elated and decided to purchase the only one I could find online based on the description given of the part. After I was doing some more research online about installation before the part arrived I realized the vacuum reservoir ball Parts Breakers advertised and the one I ordered was in fact for a Jeep GRAND Cherokee and immediately emailed their sales dept at the email they give for "any questions" (sales@partsbreakers.com) and explained the situation and asked "if they could confirm that the said part would fit my vehicle" this was at 5:03am PT, 14 minutes after I had started the order. At 7:51am PT I received an email from a "Jeremy Isham" stating "Yes I will confirm and get back to you shortly" NEVER received an email back. At 7:57am PT I sent another email to "Jeremy" stating the part they had advertised was wrong, included a picture and description of what the correct part should look like and that I wanted to cancel the order. Never received an email back. At 11:49am PT I receive an email stating "Order delivering" with shipping information. Also on the invoice I received, my phone number was included because it was requested when ordering, they state "Thank you for purchasing our products, we will contact you via phone xxx-xxx-xxxx to confirm order". Never received any call. Unbelievable this is how this supposed "honest family owned business" treats their customers through false advertising, lies, cons, and horrible communication. But they knew what they were doing. I will avoid this place like the plague from now on. They had plenty of time to correct this simple mistake but decided their greed was more important. read more

I want to tell all that Jeremy is a stand up guy and someone that you can trust to do business with. Had a need for a Jeep motor and needed is shipped to Alaska. It wasn't cheap, but he worked it out. Upon arriving, the mechanic there realized that there was a problem with the motor and Jeremy covered the shipping back to Colorado and reimbursed me completely. Terrible. I read the other review and figured he just had bad luck. Nope. Lol The owner is extremely rude and really not interested in selling anything. Prices are about 30% to 40% higher than almost everyone else. On too of that, when I asked to come take a look at the condition, he said "can't today". Lol. Don't waste your time. I got a TJ Frame shipped to the East Coast to replace my rusted frame. Although I felt the cost was higher than the competition, the 15 year old frame was as good as it could be, given the age. I was sent photos AND a video of the frame prior to shipment. Jeremy (the owner) went into detail and was thorough, and it was appreciated, considering the cash outlay I was making. Without that video, I would not have purchased the frame. If you're looking to get a TJ replacement frame fast, this may be your best bet. He'll let you know approximately how long it'll take (for me it was 2 weeks) to get a frame, otherwise you can shop around (which I also did) for a few months (I was close a few times, but the frames were not "A Grade"). You'll have to do your own cost comparison to get your own comfort level. So I got what I was promised, the owner and his staff were responsive, and if I need anything in the future, I'll be keeping this business in my mix when shopping for parts. read more

I had been looking for a great, honest, and friendly shop to have my 98 xj worked on here in Colorado after moving from Virginia. I tried a few places near me, and found them constantly gouging me on either parts, labor, or both. Im by no means a mechanic, but I have worked on my own vehicle and know how long some basic jobs take. Jeeps unlimited has been the best place Ive ever had my jeep serviced, theyve gone very above and beyond the standard of service youd expect. I cannot say enough good things about Jeremy and his team. I brought my Jeep YJ in for fuel injection to be installed as well as a few other miscellaneous small items. These guys went way beyond and got my Jeep running better than it ever has. They even helped me work through some emissions testing issues at no charge. Jeremy the owner personally took the Jeep for a long test drive to make sure everything was working properly since I had had a couple previous mechanics do an abysmal job with repairs. Ok so i never write reviews , but i bought a 91 jeep which i was lied to by the seller and within the first week it had a lot of hidden problems , which at first i took it to a dealer ,the dealer acted like i was a inconveniencing to them, Jeeps Unlimited did everything right, they found used parts and only got new parts that were necessary. That helped keep the cost down. Their workmanship was great and I really appreciate the effort they took making a bad situation better.they just started offering mechanical service which hourly was the best price around. For what they did for my Jeep and what the final cost was they did a awesome job I would recommend them to others. read more

I ordered an engine (Complete) and transmission ffrom them. The engine worked out great. Thatis where it stops. Though they assured me that everything I ordered came out of the same vehicle, clearly it did not. The transmission is a standard 5 speed...ok great. The wiring harness was from an automatic, so it would not work. The transmission required all kinds of adapters in order to bolt up. After weeks of arguing with them (Ray), they agreed that they would get me the right harness. I shipped the old one back to them at my cost. After shipping showed it received, I called and Ray said they did not currently have one and I wouls have to wait. I called weekly for several months and nothing. Now Ray doesn't even Remember the whole deal. I Have emailed the owner (Jeremy) and called dozens of times and he never responded. I even tried Megan...still nothing. So I was just out the harness. I have since bought the right harness that they could not find. I am not sure why they did me wrong. But everyone needs to know that once they make a sale there will be no customer service. read more

I wanted to thank Megan and the folks at Jeeps Unlimited on their efforts to help me re-fit my 1979 Jeep CJ-5 with a T-18 transmission and a recovered rear-end with a locker. Projects for old jeeps can be difficult to say the least and parts are hard to find. They have great relationship with a talented transmission gearhead. Admittedly, there were some snags along the way as would be expected on a major project, but the team at Jeeps Unlimited made every effort to smooth those out and make it right. Old Jeeps need talent, skill, and patience, of which I possess in very limited quantities :). Jeeps Unlimited fills in those gaps nicely. read more

At first we were very pleased that they had a motor for our Jeep Rubicon TJ, low miles a plus. I paid a deposit for them to hold the motor for two days until we could come and pick it up. Upon arrival we went into the back of the shop to look at the motor before paying for it. It was not what one would expect for a motor with 60k miles. It was filthy and covered in oil. My husband was very hesitant, and unsure if we should go ahead with the purchase. The gentleman in the yard came over to talk to us and said that the Jeep it came from could have rolled and leaked the oil, but that they stood behind their products and made us feel comfortable with the purchase. He told us to call if we had any issues. Well, we paid for it and loaded it onto our pickup and hauled it to our mechanic. A week later we got a call from our mechanic. He told us that this motor is not one with 60k miles and had major wear issues. He also mentioned something about the cylinders (forgive me, I'm not up to par with mechanic terminology). Needless to say, this was not what we thought we purchased. My husband gave the shop a call and informed them of what we were told by our mechanic. Ray, our salesman, informed us that they would have to have their mechanic look at the motor to asses it. We asked Ray to have the owners call us because we were unhappy with our purchase. Our mechanic had to contact their mechanic and he had to TEXT him pictures of the motor, they wouldn't even come out to look at the motor in person. Well, we got a call from our mechanic a few days later and he still hadn't heard back from them, and we hadn't received a phone call either. In fact we never received any phone calls from them to update us on what was going on, we had to call them every time and their response was always "oh, sorry man, I forgot to call you back". Customer service is a ZERO. Well, they basically refuse to stand behind their products like they said, and supposedly the motor is fine, it's just dirty. Now we have to have our mechanic take the head off and basically rebuild the top end of the motor to get our Jeep put back together the RIGHT WAY. I hate to leave a bad review, but I also despise getting customer service like this. The goal is to make your customer happy. We were unhappy with the product we purchased and they really didn't do a thing to try and better our situation. Sorry guys, but you deserve an F for this. Oh and the owners never bothered to give us a call either, hmmm. read more

I was quoted $50.00 over the phone for mounting brackets. When I arrived to pick up the brackets they wanted to charge me $150.00. Needless to say I don't agree with their business practices and did not make the purchase. Consider yourself warned. read more
