They said they weren't going to contact the seller unless we put money down. The salesman never said this was a requirement when we were there, he just gave us the option and simply said that not doing so would just keep it on the market for the other potential buyers in the meantime. So, we were waiting on a call that was promised that they had no intention of making. It was just a massive waste of time. This would have been our 4th RV purchase, all from different places...this was the worst experience we have had with service at a dealership. If you're buying your first RV, you can do much better.

As soon as you turn on the water pump, water sprays everywhere. Since they are closed on Sunday and Monday, we will not have access to any water for at least 3 days. Extremely Disappointing Service and Lack of Accountability in the Service Department We scheduled an appointment a month in advance and dropped off our motorhome at 8:30 AM on the day of our appointment, specifically requesting a price quote before any work began. By 3:30 PM, we still hadn't received any updates, so we called--only to find out they hadn't even pulled it in to look at yet. My husband had to push hard and even go up there the next day just to get things moving. After speaking with the GM, we finally received pricing information in the afternoon of the second day. They assured us the work would be done by noon the following day. The most frustrating part? The actual work took less than a day. If they had honored our appointment, we wouldn't have been forced to spend extra money on an Airbnb while waiting. To top it off, when we picked it up, no one offered any apology or attempt to make things right. We really felt a lack of respect for our time and money.

What I got: cabinet doors that fell off within weeks, removal (and no replacement) of the water tank, and a missing pin so the door wouldn't stay closed. They threw away the water tank so I couldn't get a fiberglass tank as we had no mold. Most frustrating to me was the lack of apology. If I threw away something my customer needed, I would apologize. It takes five seconds and shows regret. Instead, I encountered a deal-with-it attitude. I think they just wanted me to buy a new trailer rather than repair my vintage, so they did the minimum. When I do buy a new trailer, it will not be from Timberleaf. They promised me everything I wanted to hear then left me with a trailer that was less usable than when I took it in. After I got my teardrop home, the second place I called made me a new metal water tank for $40--Timberline quoted me somewhere in the vicinity of $800. All the repairs I've done since have gone far better than the repairs done by Timberleaf. Nice guys though.
