Our old motorhome had severe transmission trouble coming in from Utah last week and we had to be towed into Stewart & Stevenson because Transwest refused to help fix our vehicle. Rex not only helped us get the motorhome into the lot safely, but then started looking at it first thing in the morning. They were thorough and more importantly HONEST about what was wrong and quickly fixed the issue. They were fair in their charge and I was thrilled to have it back so quickly. Rex and staff were professional, thorough, fair and timely. If you ever need transmission help in Grand Junction, do yourself a favor and go to Stewart & Stevenson and ask for Rex. I was so grateful!

We chose to limp it into Grand Junction, Co. where we felt our chances for repair was best. The first shop we contacted said they couldn't even look at it for two weeks! Then, my fiancee recommended I call around. My next call was to Stewart and Stevenson in Grand Junction who said they could get it in immediately. They provided a place to park our fifth wheel and even offered power while they looked at the truck. It turned out that my 10 speed Spicer transmission needed rebuilt or replaced which they offered to do. Long story short, they could not locate parts nor could they find a matching transmission (not their fault thanks to the odd trans and the current situation of our country and the supply chain...I'll stop there). We felt we were doomed. As we sat there in our fifth wheel wondering what we were going to do...we heard a knock on the door. I opened the door and two employees stood there...they proceeded to give me a name and a number of a guy who might be able to come up with a suitable transmission as he dealt in used truck parts. Well, they were right. He found what we needed in Chicago. It was shipped and the crew at Stewart and Stevenson installed it along with a new clutch and main seal. We sat in Grand Junction eight days but it only took these guys about two to get the work done. Everyone there was awesome. Great hospitality right down to transporting us to get and return a rental vehicle. They offered facilities to us and everything. They....had zero obligation to offer information to us of a competitor who might be able to help. Yet they did. Many shops would have made us wait until THEY could find the right parts and pocket all the money themselves! Not Stewart and Stevenson. They actually showed they care about people and sought to find a way to get us going again....GREAT JOB you guys!!!! 10 Stars!!!! p.s. If you all read this, take care of the tree...it's a Weeping Willow that I grew myself. It was going to my uncle in Wyoming. One day...it will provide great shade so the employees can park under it! LOL Our gift to you!

My van is 10years old, and Jim, Bonnie and Angel matched the running board color, added some accents, and it makes my van look new again! Bonnie worked seamlessly, with my progressive insurance agent, to fix some minor bumps and dents...I couldn't be happier!!! Bonnie was unbelievably kind and generous, understanding my situation, and Pam is adorable with the same qualities. Angel needs special mention for all the time, and caring he put in, on my van.. thank you Angel. All Jim's employees, (names I can't remember) are wonderful. Jim and Bonnie were so accommodating knowing that I am a van dweller (at this time) and making it accessible for me to camp out on his (secure) property and plug into electric and water. Who does that?!! The work was completed in a week (not months) and I cannot say enough about the integrity of JCP Fiberglass. I am a traveling single and was never taken advantage of in any way!

Over the phone, they gave me instructions on how to rig my trailer to make the trip to their shop to avoid an expensive tow. They also gave specific instructions on where to park when I arrived (our motor home and trailer are over 70' long) so they could easily grab my trailer with their forklift. As soon as I pulled up they were their with the forklift ready to get started. When I went inside I was impressed with the clean and neat appearance of the store and the professionalism of the entire staff. They noticed one of my brakes locked up as I was parking and said they'd take a look at the problem while they were replacing the spring. They made the repairs while we had lunch. Before we left they pointed out a couple of issues we should address when we returned home after our trip. As a stranded traveler they could have easily taken advantage of our situation but instead they made the necessary repairs and got us on the road quickly and the bill was actually less than I expected. Doing the walk around and inspection before I took it off the lot, was not hooked up to electricity or sewer. We ran all the water and couldn't test anything else. I told the gentleman it was a lot of trust to take it off the lot, not knowing if everything worked and he said they could be trusted because they wouldn't still be in business if they sold things that didn't work. What a joke. I moved in and the refrigerator and TV breaker won't work so I have to run extension cords to run either. The shower leaks and filled my under storage with water. My washer leaks and my toilet leaked. The worst part is that the seal on my slide out leaked and filled my bed with water during the first rain storm after I got it home. I did not call to complain, they called me and asked me if I was satisfied, and I told them everything that was wrong with this trailer. The salesman said they would do everything they could to help me and would have their service manager call. She called and said they would do nothing for me. I didn't purchase a warranty because I assumed everything would be working at least when I pulled it off the lot. They wouldn't run diagnostics for me even at a discount. They want my money to fix it, but they do not stand by their product. They said that this unit passed inspection and asked me if I wanted to schedule service. If their service department passed this trailer through inspection, I don't want them anywhere near this trailer again. They cannot be trusted!
