Then I got an alert to see a dealer like, NOW. Fortunately my trusty RAV4 got me into town. Travis and the whole amazing team at Western Slope took great care of my car. They were courteous, professional, and fast. Diane gave me a ride into town so I was still able to enjoy my stay. Then I was back on the road again, my car running like new. I was literally two minutes from driving off the lot. Then it all fell apart. Three red flags that made me walk: - Credit Union Roadblock - The dealership refused to provide my credit union with a bill of sale before the transaction date, then immediately pressured me to switch to their financing sources. - Warranty Scare Tactic - They claimed that an extended warranty purchased from an East Coast dealership wouldn't be honored in the Western U.S. (This is false--Toyota warranties are honored nationwide.) - The Deal Breaker - They insisted I sign a mandatory arbitration agreement waiving my right to take them to court, claiming it was "required by law" to complete the sale. (Also false.) I refused. I walked away. No dream car for me today

I recently purchased my new (used) vehicle from MCM and I love my new ride…read more The staff was nice and helpful without being too pushy, but it is a car dealership, so some sales tricks are to be expected. The vehicle is great. It had very low miles, a lot of extras and looked brand new. I have had no problems with it at all and have no qualms about my purchase. I have only a couple comments that I feel others should know so they don't get tripped up themselves... (1) One of my biggest issues that I voiced repeatedly to my sales person and to the finance manager was that I wanted to be sure once I filled out the application that my credit report was only going to be run once, as I did NOT want a bunch of "hard inquiries" on my credit report because I was also looking to buy a house in the near future. I was assured repeatedly that the process only included the dealership running my credit once and then submitting it to the banks/lenders for their review and approval for the loan. That was not the case. Not only did my credit report get hit more than once, but a total of 8 times from different potential lenders!! Of course I didn't know about this until about a week after the purchase. That in itself really did piss me off. Be honest with your customers! Honesty is the best policy and is what keeps them coming back. (2) The sales woman I dealt with didn't know nearly as much about the vehicle as she lead me to believe. Some of it was no big deal, but the cincher for me was I asked her if the vehicle needed premium gas. She flat out said no... Again, it wasn't until a couple days later when I went to fill up my first tank of gas that I discovered that it, indeed DID take premium. Talk about a difference in the price of gas... literally and figuratively speaking. So, do I feel burned on the purchase? No. I like the vehicle, the price was fair and the staff has been nothing but nice to me during the purchase, and since, to include working with their service department for my first oil change. The give good customer service and make you feel "at home". Do I feel that there was misinformation and manipulation in the works to "make the sale"? Yes. But, unfortunately that is part of the business of used car sales. Would I return to purchase from them again. Yes... but I would arm myself with my own research and information on the vehicle and would call them out on the only one inquiry on my credit. All in all, the purchase was solid, the staff worked to get my business and has followed up several times since to check how the vehicle is doing and sent coupons for discounted services. Educate yourself in advance on what you're purchasing and all will be good. They haven't been in business for 20-something years by giving bad customer service.

As per any car dealership I have ever been to, I expected to be greeted by a service writer. Did not happen, waited 2 minutes before going inside to only see 1 service writer with another customer, I presumed. I stood inside for 8 minutes listening to these 2 people talk about fishing and hiking the entire time, certainly not about her car. I went back out to my car where I waited another 3 minutes before someone came out and saw me, looking very shocked that I was there. Which makes no sense because I have an appointment. He said I didn't know you were waiting, I said apparently talking about fishing and hiking is far more important. I asked to speak with the Service Manager, I waited another 4 minutes before this happened. I told the Service Manager I had been warned about taking my car to Red Rock Honda, to only find out the hard way. His only explanation to me was his service writer was providing excellent customer service to the customer he was with. I told him talking about fishing and hiking for 8 minutes while ignoring another customer with an appointment wasn't my idea of good customer service. I left without ever having my car serviced, never to return again!

Spoke to a gentleman for 2 or three days.Maybe even four before I drove there.Because I did not want to waste my time driving far going there. I'm gonna keep this review simple. They ran my credit days before I drove there. I begged them not to waste my time. I told them my credit score and how I am out of work for the past three months because of medical reasons. I told them I own a house though. And I told him I own a truck, but you won't want it. It's an old plow truck, plenty of service records mechanically. It's okay, but every inch of it has a dent and scratch. I begged them not to waste my time or have me drive there so again. I waited days and gave them all my info, and they ran my credit..... They kept calling schedule. The time told me, come on in. The gentleman who I speak with, and given the information. The whole time he looked at my truck, then he went to his manager, and his manager introduced himself to. Now, the guy i've been speaking with. For multiple days he disappeared, he ran away...... The manager refused to look at my folder with service records. Titles deeds to my house. You know, every single thing that I could bring in and he walked me out the door and he will refused to even look, add my folder...... They ran my credit days before I went in.They wasted my time and I begged them not to do that to me. I even said you're gonna give me gas money because I told you. I don't even know where to start as this has been a consistently bad experience across the board…read more It actually started with a recall appointment. I scheduled it, took time out of my day, brought the truck in, and only then was told they didn't even have the parts. Their service staff admitted they knew that ahead of time and just... didn't bother to notify me. They shrugged it off. When I asked how I was supposed to know when the recall could actually be done, I was tersely told to "just keep calling every few weeks." I later wrote a review about the experience and only then I was contacted by the Service Manager, who acknowledged how bad that was and promised they would prioritize my recall and keep me informed. Of course, that never happened. The only reason the recall eventually got done is because I physically stopped by again and asked a different service advisor. After that, I had additional issues with poor workmanship and a completely unprofessional parts department. Trying to resolve any of this has been just as bad. I spoke to my service advisor, who told me to contact the Service Manager (apparently handling issues internally is too much to ask). I emailed him, but there was zero response. I waited nearly a week and escalated to the General Manager. Nothing. Then I contacted the Dealer Principal, and someone from Western Slope Auto even took my info and said they'd call me back. No call. No follow-up. No response. This is on top of paying for an alignment that clearly wasn't done (fixed soon after by a competent local shop) and weeks of misinformation and poor communication from the parts department. At this point, the lack of professionalism, poor workmanship, and complete absence of customer service is actually impressive. If you value your time, your vehicle, and your money, stay away from this dealership. It's a perfect example of poor workmanship and zero customer service.

Apparently they felt the need to run diagnostics themselves before ordering the part, stranding us in Grand Junction overnight with no mode of transportation and no prior warning. I called and asked to speak to the service manager, Austin, but instead got a call back from Dana. He was not willing to discuss any options or compensate us for the additional 24 hours we were going to have to spend in Grand Junction. I called back again to tell them that we were going to pick up the truck, and I was told it would take 30 minutes to "get it ready". I told them I expected it ready immediately and was met with a dial tone. When we got there to pick up the vehicle, they did call RAM, who said they would reimburse us the hotel cost and one meal. If your RAM/Jeep breaks down in Moab, take it to any other dealership or be prepared to stay days in Grand Junction. The only positive note is the shuttle driver, she went above and beyond.
