On 8/5/24 I stopped by Secrest Auto Body to get an estimate for new running boards for my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 not realizing that Marty had sold the business to Kaizen Collision Center. After the estimator took about 20 pictures of all sides of my truck she told me she would sent me an estimate via e-mail. I then went to an auto shop for a 2nd estimate. 2nd place gave me an estimate within 10 minutes of arriving and made an appointment to have the new running boards installed. After I waited for 4 days I contacted Kaizen to see why I'd never received an estimate and was told that the running boards for my truck were obsolete and estimator was checking suppliers for replacements. All she had to do was check Amazon. So needless to say I'll never go back to Kaizen for anything. I believe they're liars and shysters and not worth my time nor money. read more

This shop is now called Kaizen Collision Center. Two miles from my final destination a less than 30 minutes after sunset, I ran into a big buck hard enough to deploy my front and side airbags. The deer caused epic damage to the front hood, grill, fenders, and driver side door. My insurance company suggested that I bring my car to Kaisen Collision Center for an estimate. My 2018 Subaru Outback was still drivable, but the safety features no longer functioned with the deployed air bags. Rolling up to Kaizen, I met Vincent, who was extremely friendly, courteous and professional. I quickly received an estimate for the repairs. Since I was 1000 miles from home, I told Vincent that I would leave the vehicle for repair. Vincent took over all the details to have the car repaired. Contacting my insurance company to dealing with the Subaru dealership to clear codes and reprogram the repaired vehicle. He updated me regularly with progress reports. I got my car back in 2 months, which I believe is fast for the type of damage and coordination needed between insurance, parts, and the Subaru dealership. All along the way, Vincent handled all the details. When I picked up my car, it was perfect. Everything worked the way it should as I drove the 1000-miles home. Some moron backed into my FJ Cruiser then split. My insurance company suggested Secrest for the repair work to both doors. I picked my truck up and was so happy. The doors look perfect and the paint matches exactly. Not only that, they cleaned the interior, my truck feels new! Everyone was helpful and easy to work with. Last summer(i know but i was not going to say anything) I took my car in for an estimate. Long story short a third party was wanting to not use the insurance companies. No problem, but Tabor is doing the work.. But my car being an import not everyone is able to work the car. But the third party was ambitious on taking it to a couple of different places. Moores auto body was upfront and honest. The auto house did not do body work. Seacrest was next. I do not know if it was the owner or a general manger personally did the estimate. I told the third party as well as the guy at Seacrest that a safe bet $2500-3k So me trying to be a good guy and pacify the third party only to find out this third party knew the representative at Seacrest. They tried to rip me off! Yes i said it. THEY TRIED TO RIP ME OFF! Gor instance the deployed headrest was 1/3 the cost and wrong color. (The vin number can help the bumper casing and the 39 parts inside the bumper dud not have a price break down. Funny how Moores and Tabor were able to include the price of the bumper casing Although Moores did not go into what of the 29 inner parts needed replaced. But Moores did emphasize that this estimate does not include the 29 inner parts! I took it to Tabor who included the bumper casing and had an educated guess on a few inner parts (the impact. Oh snd both included both deployed headrests and the installation. Not Seacrest! When i received the estimate vie email. (More's and Tabor gave me the estimate while i was at their shops. I contacted the third party and only brought up where's the cost on at least the bumper casing vie text. The third party went on the run never heard from him again! I will not get into how he was handled. With Seacrest I'm guessing the guy is too bright or is a CHEAT! Seacrest not only on purpose misrepresented the estimate so i would take the offer manipulated offer of $1200 when the price exceeded 3k. So let's try this one more time. Seacrest insulted my intelligence by insinuating i could not read a fraudulent estimate, placing a used and mind you and a different color headrest, i should've asked him at the time if he was going to do all that needed done to my car off his estimate. But I WILL NOT WASTE MY TIME OR DO BUSINESS WITH SOMEONE WHO IS THAT IGNORANT AND A LIAR! But i was so disgusted by his lies and belittling of my intelligence. I know they have been in business long enough for some of you to disagree because you do not want to admit you were probably cheated And honestly i do not care. Seacrest tried to rip me off. So given the one time I encountered with the CHEAT I found Seacrest to lack in business ethics and case and point he lied and attempted to cheat me. GOOD LUCK IF YOU DO BUSINESS WITH THE CHEAT AND LIAR HOWEVER YOU MIGHT WANT YO DOUBLE CHECK HIS ESTIMATE! And i call it as i see it the guy lied and willingly tried to cheat me. They did an exceptional job, Brandon was excellent at keeping us updated as to the status and getting some supplemental damages approved and fixed. They really made it painless. Where to start with this nightmare of a company. Took my dodge in after an accident and the entire process was a shit show. I had them tell me from the beginning it should be about 3 weeks because they had to order parts and what not, so the 2nd week hits and he tells me they've got the parts but are waiting for it to be painted so it can be reassembled and it should be done the following week. The next week they call back and tell me they're still waiting for it to be painted so they can reassemble and it should be done the following week. Then the next week comes and he tells me it is finally painted but needs to be reassembled and will be done for sure the following week. At this point I'm getting frustrated because I haven't had my car for over a month but he reassures me that they'll have it done and I'll have it back the following week. So I call on Tuesday the following week to be told he's just waiting for the tech to finish getting it reassembled, I tell him that we need our second vehicle back and 5 weeks is an unacceptable amount of time. He then tells me that he'll make sure it gets done and they'll deliver it to my home the next day since I would be working and my wife would be stuck at home with no vehicle, I'm happy with that and we end the conversation there. The next day about 1PM I hadn't heard anything so I give them a call and Mike tells me that they had to fire a tech and put a new one on it so it would be done the next day, Thursday I get a call from Mike saying they've got it reassembled but now they've got to order a tire and it won't be in until Monday. At this point I lose it, I ask him how they can have a vehicle for a month and a half and not realize it's on a damn spare tire. Nothing can be done at this point so I just tell him I'll talk to them Monday. So Monday rolls around and I ask them what the status is, Mike tells me they are still waiting on Big O to finish it and as soon as it's done he'll personally go get it and do the final inspection so we can pick it up. I don't hear back until 4 PM (they close at 5) and he tells me the car is 20 minutes out if we want to pick it up that evening. We were in the middle of family pictures in Palisade so I just tell him I'll be there first thing in the morning to get it. I show up the next morning at 8:30 just to find out they didn't even have the vehicle back yet! We finally get the vehicle back about 11 AM and it's such a half assed job I'm just disgusted. The front driver door handle sticks and the keyless entry doesn't work, the inside handle housing plastic is newly broken, the driver seatbelt now sticks and doesn't retract properly, the back driver side seatbelt isn't even connected to the wall (where my Son's car seat sits) and these are just the few things we've found in the couple days after getting it back. I will NEVER use this company again. My wife is working to try and get things rectified but I'm to the point I can't even talk to them anymore. They had the vehicle for six weeks so I expected it to be immaculate and the quality of work that I got back is disappointing to say the least. Not to mention the horrendous customer service and lack of being able to keep a time frame. All of this bundled together makes this a disaster of a company, if you're contemplating taking your vehicle here my advice would be to find a more reliable shop. read more

So I'll start with the fact that no work was done on our vehicle as we were not able to even get a quote since they "take whatever the insurance company says they will pay." The ins we are working with will pay a set amount or will pay based on repair costs based on quote. If you take what the ins offer are you saying you will only use parts and do work as good as the payment will be? You could do shoddy work or use lesser quality parts because pay is low or you could get more money than the job is worth..You know what the parts will cost and what you charge per hour for a job to be done so there is no reason not to give a quote. And by the way it isn't done this way "Everywhere". Very thankful for the place that did give us a quote and did a great job repairing our car in a timely manner. Very disappointed after seeing all the 5 star reviews. Expected better customer service. read more

We were on vacation traveling in western Colorado when we had an encounter with a deer. Damaged our truck and travel trailer. It was Friday afternoon and we had no mirror on the left side of the truck and the front window on our trailer was shattered. We also had a 15" hole in the front of the trailer. The wonderful guys at Secrest tried to find a new mirror but the closest was in Idaho. With their help and some collision tape they secured the front of the trailer and attached my add on trailering mirror to my truck so we could make our way home to California. They would not accept payment for the time and materials they used, What a great bunch. They our on our Christmas list for sure. read more

Beyond honest! Took my car in thinking I had a very long scratch from the grocery cart driving itself in a parking lot and the trip would result in a $500 deductible and an insurance claim. Brandon, took a look, could have easily written an estimate for a repair and I would have not questioned this, because the "scratch" was truly bad to the untrained eye. Instead, he went and got a cloth and some magic potion from the shop and rubbed the entire thick/black scratch off the car! No charge.
