Some boba shops make their drinks either too sweet or too watered down, but Partea Boba got it just right. The flavors were great and the boba was chewy and sweet. I love that the regular size is more like a large size & that their drinks are not overpriced. The girl at the register was friendly and helpful too. The parking lot looked kinda packed and busy when we went, but a lot of cars were pulling out at the same time so there wasn't an issue getting a parking spot. This place is great! Awesome staff and delicious drinks! we came on a sunday night, yet staff were still really nice and they were even willing to replace our Taro Milk tea because the first one we got was a little too sweet for us. The place was clean and doesn't feel too cramped unlike other boba places although a lot of people study here so it might be hard to get a table on certain days and times. The only downside is how tight the parking spaces are in this plaza. If you have an SUV, you'll be taking a spot and a half. Nevertheless, we will be coming back! Still the best place to study in the Valley while sipping on bubble tea! But I'm updating this review to talk about their cheese foam drinks. My friend and I ordered the Roasted Oolong Cheese Foam again and also the Assam Black Tea Cheese Foam. They shouldn't even call it cheese foam b/c the layer of cheese foam they give you is about half a centimeter of the drink and when you mix it you taste almost no cheese. I had to ask a worker to add more cheese foam to my drink & he was really accommodating & nice about it! It tasted slightly better but my advice to Partea is if you're going to join the cheese foam trend, don't be cheap about the quality. read more

I will post another review in the future when I try more drinks, but so far I have been to this shop about 4 times. I've been greeted by a very friendly "hello" every single time I've walked in. Let's start with saying I've been to MANY boba shops all over SoCal - including the SGV and OC which are very popular for their wide variety of boba shop selections. So far Partea does a great job of flavor with their milk teas, but I do have to highlight their custard pudding topping is probably the best in this (San Fernando) Valley. Their custard actually tastes like flan, with a light sweetness kind of like the one from the popular Half & Half in the San Gabriel Valley. I usually order pudding as an add on for the texture, but this added an extra level of flavor as a treat. The location is also in a decent sized parking lot that has many businesses but does have more parking in the back. Some really arrogant people can fill it up though and do a bad job at occupying just one spot It's also a good study spot, with outlets underneath the booth bench I do recommend they separate their tables to two-seaters and let customers move them into groups themselves, because a lot of parties of 1 (selfishly) occupy tables of 4 with their backpacks and stuff, that it can lack seating. I think the story behind this soon to be opened boba place is the owner himself has tried too many boba places, and finally decided to open one himself. That is, he must be the expert!!!!! I love love love their PASSION FRUIT GREEN TEA. It has the perfect ratio of sour and sweet, comparing to other stores that taste kinda fake & artificial. And you know it's real when it has that passion fruit seeds in there too...definitely love it and recommend this! I also like their milk tea too, not too heavy, perfect for a dessert! I went on a Saturday evening (close to dinner time) and I found parking easily, so I don't think it should be a problem as it's a pretty big plaza. Such a slept on boba spot nestled in a tiny plaza off Sherman Way. The parking is tricky but it's the worth the hassle. I'm a boba connoisseur and have tested many boba spots around LA. Partea Boba is 1 of the best. All the drinks I tried have been delicious. The shop is clean and there are games to play while you sit which is nice.

Service was fast and efficient and the menu has lots of different options such as smoothies, slushes, cheese foam and the standard milk teas and fresh teas. I got a brown sugar milk tea with boba and it was just the right amount of sweet to satisfy my sugar craving.
