I normally do not leave reviews, but I felt service like this needs to be recommended!

I worked with Vacant Interiors around the Christmas holidays to get a quote on a smallish bathroom…read moreremodel for a 1 BR condo. Of the 6 or so companies I contacted, they had the best communication. I both spoke with one of their estimators on the phone, then later met him at the property. We spoke at length about the remodel I had planned and he answered a ton of questions. I never felt like I was being upsold. The estimator even said he didn't think the bathroom was is that bad of a condition and suggested it might be repairable instead I received a quote/estimate a few days later and it was both comprehensive and priced competitively (2nd lowest of the quotes I received). I ended up electing to have the tub/shower refinished and some other areas repaired, but had I decided to complete the remodel, Vacant Interiors would have been my top choice.

As many folks hopefully do prior to embarking on a daunting project like hardwood floor refinishing…read morethroughout their home, we scoured online reviews to learn more about vendor options. We then met with several...ultimately choosing Cummings Hardwood Flooring. As I begin to write this review, I glance back over the earlier reviews (2020-2023) we originally found for this company...and can honestly say...NOTHING HAS CHANGED since those earlier postings. Our original meeting with Andy to obtain an estimate was refreshing (inclusive, respectful and knowledge-sharing). His team, as promised, arrived when he said they would. They were exceedingly respectful of the fact that I work from home (and wore earbuds rather than blaring a boom box and shouting). They seemed very organized, worked well together, and cleaned as they went. They completed the project in less time than estimated ("because Mike was on the job..."). Their style and workmanship are clearly deserving of a 5* rating...and we would highly recommend Andy and his team at Cummings Hardwood Flooring and use them again. The only thing we would encourage folks embarking on this type of project to do is invest the time to learn as much as you can about wood, textures, styles, colors, etc. The end product on our floors was much lighter - both in color and in finish - than anticipated. From our perspective it would have been helpful to have seen some type of color/finish samples to better understand the nature and results of the work being proposed. Clearly our bad...not theirs!! :)liz and alan

We contracted CNTC based on some very positive feedback from friends to remodel the downstairs…read morebathroom and add a walk-in closet (not pictured) to our 1970s-construction home. This was more than a total gut job, with scope including: new supply plumbing, breakers, wiring, floors, shower, window, and ceilings. Needless to say, we needed a GC who could bring a breadth of experience. I'm not going to add the before pictures, but the old bathroom was in complete disrepair, poorly laid out, and badly dated--the results, we feel, are beautiful and functional. Sean and I selected the tiles and fixtures--Carlos was very flexible with building our vision for the space. CNTC was creative working around constraints such as proximity to the foundation, immobile ducting, and drain lines for the upstairs bathroom. He rolled with the punches when new issues were discovered to make sure the work got done right. The crew was polite, professional, detail-oriented, and trustworthy. 10/10, will use again.

I cannot say enough about AMPAC. Shawn and his team (Brian and Kyle) were outstanding. We purchased…read morea new home and the previous owners had it painted in Sept. 2014. The painting company had reinforced rotten wood and caulked the weep holes on the windows on the north side of the house, and painted over it all. We found a significant amount of water damage under the concrete Hardyboard siding down to the framing studs and insulation. We contacted AMPAC and Shawn and his team came out, provided an estimate and began repair work within a week of our estimate. During the repair, we noted further damage to the window sills in the house and had these added to the estimate, removed, mitigated and replaced (8 sills total). The team did such an amazing job, you cannot tell they have been replaced. They were so precise to cut the siding in the correct locations, removed and replaced the OSB, insulation, siding and added vapor barrier around the windows. Kyle was awesome and responded to our phone calls and or questions within 24 hours. Brian was amazing and they were both on site daily to monitor the work. I would highly RECOMMEND AMPAC as your go-to company if you need any restoration work done. Professional, Competent, Integrity, Fair and competitive pricing... After all that was said and done and the extra work we had them do, The total bill was actually less than the estimate. AMPAC - You Guys ROCK!!! Thank you for a great experience in a stressful time.
