Honestly, I despise working with contractors since you never know what you're going to get,…read moredeadlines are always missed, and budgets always exceeded. However, Project X delivered a quality renovation on time and on budget. Project X was referred to me by another business I trust (Stink Inc), after a failed cat urine remediation by another company for a property we own in Littleton. We were already way over budget thanks to this previous company who did a horrible job, so I was hesitant to have Danny come in and essentially re-do all of the work previously done. However, the big difference is that Danny and team were much more effective at identifying and finding the sources of odor and determining how to fix it. This entailed almost a complete gutting of the interior of the home, with the exception of the foundation, so it was neither quick nor easy. Did I mention I this was in another state? Being remote introduced more variables with Danny for even simple things like ensuring the odor was gone, picking paint colors, etc. However, Danny worked through all of these with me and was communicative and effective throughout the entire project. I would definitely use Project X again for a major project, even though I hope to never have to deal with cat urine again! I just wish Project X had offices closer to me as I'd definitely trust them to handle all of my renovation needs.

Then he came to my house and modernized all three of my bathrooms. He was always professional, did wonderful work, and was considerate of our spaces and lifestyle while working in our home. I selected Phil's bid, and work began on December 9, 2024. While the initial quality was acceptable, it declined during the second week as Phil prioritized a large commercial project. Order errors further delayed completion beyond Christmas. Phil resumed work in January, but progress was slow due to limited manpower and missing materials. On January 29, 2025, he completed several sections and agreed to correct issues such as misaligned siding, poor layouts, and incorrect trim (see pictures). He insisted on caulking and painting that week, aiming to finish by February 3. Due to heavy snow and freezing temperatures, I postponed painting until conditions improved. I have not seen Phil since. Over the past year, I have repeatedly contacted Phil via email and text. Although he occasionally promised to schedule the remaining work, he never followed through. The job remains unfinished. I request that by April 15 he either complete the work or refund sufficient funds to hire another contractor. My Responses: I can provide receipts for all the materials and supplies used. The receipts clearly show my credit card for payment. I can provide the materials and supplies list you provided. The lists have many mistakes and omissions, which were the source of the delays. My bank statements show payments of $7,500 on December 10, $7,500 on December 13, $7,500 on December 19, and $5,000 on January 19. Monthly temperature data from January 29 through February shows that February's minimum temperatures never exceeded 40°F. Such conditions are not suitable for caulking or painting.

The painting company had reinforced rotten wood and caulked the weep holes on the windows on the north side of the house, and painted over it all. We found a significant amount of water damage under the concrete Hardyboard siding down to the framing studs and insulation. We contacted AMPAC and Shawn and his team came out, provided an estimate and began repair work within a week of our estimate. During the repair, we noted further damage to the window sills in the house and had these added to the estimate, removed, mitigated and replaced (8 sills total). The team did such an amazing job, you cannot tell they have been replaced. They were so precise to cut the siding in the correct locations, removed and replaced the OSB, insulation, siding and added vapor barrier around the windows. Kyle was awesome and responded to our phone calls and or questions within 24 hours. Brian was amazing and they were both on site daily to monitor the work. I would highly RECOMMEND AMPAC as your go-to company if you need any restoration work done. Professional, Competent, Integrity, Fair and competitive pricing... After all that was said and done and the extra work we had them do, The total bill was actually less than the estimate. AMPAC - You Guys ROCK!!! Thank you for a great experience in a stressful time.

The window is  a 4 feet by 5 feet window that was installed on a load bearing wall that required a structural frame.  We have installed other windows in our home but this one required more expertise because of its size and structural impact. Migo is very knowledgeable and immediately knew what steps needed to be taken in order to ensure the integrity of the wall.  His crew was punctual and tidy. They even laid down paper so they wouldn't dirty the carpet. After each work day, they vacuumed and cleaned up such that the room was completely usable. It is difficult to get responsive handymen these days. Migo was very responsive and answered all questions for the project. His crew arrived at the exact time he said they would ( maybe slightly early). The crew was polite and courteous throughout both days.  They were able to accomplish exactly what they set out to do each day. It is such a pleasure to work with Migo and his team. His prices are reasonable and were inclusive of all costs for the project( drywall, texturing, lumber, etc ) . We will definitely be calling him back when new projects arise.
