Revolution Park, the oldest and largest park in Ensenada, Mexico, sits within walking distance from the Ensenada Port. It was formerly Porfiro Diaz Park named after a President of Mexico (later recognized as a dictator), and is one of other urban parks in major Mexican cities, named after the Mexican revolution.
My brother and I used as a destination point, wanting to walk a bit during our second visit in four days, from the Royal Caribbean ship, Navigator of the Seas. It's a large urban park, well maintained and with enough large green space to make it seem not too crowded.
A large statue (Monumento a la Madre) overlooks the southern entrance to the park. On the other side, there is a permanent building with 3 different vendors selling food, two of them being hamburgers and tortas. read more
