Always a good experience at Bagley Auto…read more My car was "sounding" wrong yesterday and Mel was able to get my car in today. WIthin four hours everything was explained and fixed. I also appreciate that they always offer a ride to/from their location to customers. I know some places do this, but not all do and it's always appreciated. Walking the hills of West View are not always fun. I've been working with Bagley Auto for the last few years and I'll be sad to switch when I move out of the area. I've always found him to be honest and fair about his pricing. If something goes wrong, they are always good about making things right. I also can appreciate a well run family business.

I made my…read moreappointment about two weeks in advance and was given the option to drop the car off the night before and leave the key in the metal door slot or to drop off the morning of when they open. I chose the nighttime drop off. The metal door slot is easily visible right below a sign that says, "smile, you're on camera". John, the owner, could not be more personable and fair. The service is exactly what you're asking for and the price is more than reasonable. Actually, I would consider the work to be significantly better quality and the price to be very competitive compared to several other garages by me. It's worth a $30 Uber ride each way to this auto shop to have John's team service my vehicle. I won't go anywhere else in the future.

Dropped his car off and they call to say he needs new back brakes and rotors. My son being in college, decided he would put them on with his dad to save some money. When he picked up the car, he asked when he could bring it back to be re-inspected and the guy said he was booked for the next 3 weeks. In other words, because he wasn't making money, he would not re-do the inspection. Charged my son $50 for nothing, didn't even put an emission sticker on. The car is only 2 years old. I prefer going to a mechanic who doesn't want to take advantage of a college kid.

There were different people working the desk, and not the two I am most familiar with (The guy that looks like "Wolverine," and the nice woman). Not sure if they moved on or not, but I liked them. I recently brought my truck in for an inspection, and I needed some work done to get it passed. It took a few days to get everything fixed. Thankfully they gave me a loaner car, which really helped. After passing inspection, I noticed a few days later when it started to rain, that my windshield wiper blade was torn. It was in good working order prior to entering the shop. Usually I receive a text after a service asking me if things were to my satisfaction, and I was going to tell them about my wiper blade then, but no text ever came. More than likely, I will still come here for tires/alignment/etc., but not sure if I wanna come back for inspection/service. P.S. In my original review, I mentioned Campiti's Pizza was within walking distance, and sadly, they have gone out of business. There is a Mexican Restaurant nearby that you can walk to, and a Sheetz for something to eat/do while waiting for your vehicle to be serviced. Half a Cheer!!!
