Excellent dinner. I had the Parmesan crusted pork chops. Crispy outside and juicy inside. The sauce overtop was tasty too. My wife had the lobster ravioli. She said they were delicious. The food here is outstanding and easily deserves 5 stars. The pork chops were some of the best I've ever had--perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The salmon special was equally excellent, fresh and beautifully prepared. Our server was fantastic--warm, attentive, and knowledgeable--which made the meal even more enjoyable. The only disappointment was the older woman at the front. Our group overheard her speaking negatively about other dining patrons, which felt very unprofessional and took away from an otherwise enjoyable experience. Hopefully management addresses the front-of-house experience with the hostess ( either Rita or Renee ), to match the quality of the restaurant. read more

Parkway Bistro is on Rt. 9 in Longs, SC. It's a busy restaurant in a small strip mall that seems to be popular with an older crowd for dining but I noticed quite a few younger people picking up takeout. I enjoyed the friendliness of the wait staff but they seemed a bit overwhelmed. My wife got her standard Chicken Parmigiana which was over a bed of angel hair pasta. Personally, I thought any thicker tomato based sauce should never be used with angel hair pasta. Just my opinion though. The chicken parmigiana was pretty much tasty though. The Seafood Pomodoro was mediocre at best. I typically love Seafood Pomodoro but this one just lacked the flavor. The shrimp was slightly overcooked but no big deal and they used angel hair pasta which actually works with this dish because the sauce is light. I probably wouldn't get this dish again. Overall, I wasn't disappointed but I also wasn't impressed. read more

Good food and service It doesn't look like much from the outside but once you step inside you'll love this place. There is a great bar area and a large dining area. Now to the food. This was our first time dining and it was amazing. We were greeted warmly at the door and asked for a different table and they immediately accommodated us. It was very busy too. Oni was our server Right off the bat he kindly asked for our patience since he had many large parties he was taking care of. Food came out in a timely manner and it was spectacular. That pork chop. 20/10 recommend! It was one of the specials. My fiancé said that was the best pork chop he had ever eaten. The bread and specialty butter was fantastic!!!! My lobster ravioli was perfect. We will be back. Also want to add...I got so distracted by the delicious food that I accidentally left my debit card there. They called and we went back to pick it up. just had a crazy experience here I've lived behind this place for more 10 years and I've eaten at this place countless times and ordered food from them. I ordered chicken Parm last week or maybe it was two weeks ago and it comes with the meal a salad and bread well today I ordered two of those and it came with two meals, two salads and one bread. I explained to the woman that these are separate orders, two different people she did not care I had just spent $48 plus a $10 tip to pick up my food and she did not give me another bread that is just really bad business in my opinion what if I ordered three meals or four meals would every bread have to be paid for? I know it may sound petty, but to not to give me another bread IS petty if it comes with the meal. I don't know if the I spoke to owns the place or manages the place, but she did not do the right thing. I'm gonna say is do better bistro. The food is great, but that was some crap. read more

Took my Wife there for Mothers day. we have been going there since 2013 always good. Not this time we ordered fried Calamrari it was gummy almost to the point of being raw, MY Wife ordered shrimp and steak Risotto. the shrimp and risotto were good but the Steak was not edible she only ate two pieces the rest was alot of gristle, She told the waitress and she apologized. Not her fault. This did not effect the tip for the waitress She didn't cook the food. My dish was ok. Not sure if I will be going back anytime soon. read more

We have been coming for 13 years since the previous owner, the food has always been incredible and consistent-the servers and hostess have always been awesome. They have upgraded the restaurant recently to really take it to the ambiance level that I feel their food deserves. I normally get the chicken Oscar which is crabcake on top of two large chicken breast with bernaise - literally one of my favorite meals ever. The wife as well as the owner take such care and pride in ownership. We really look forward to seeing your next chapter in expanding as well as opening the bar. Will continue to be regulars as the food speaks for itself- would choose to eat here over the majority of the steakhouses in myrtle beach. 10/10 read more

I'll start with the positive, the entrees: I had fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken and it was very good! Nice sized portion a real value for the price. My wife had the chicken francaise also very good and a lot of food for the money. Now the ok: Calamari for an appetizer and it was good but for 15.00 the portion was VERY skimpy compared to their competitors in the area. The not so great: Server, ours was Mariah , she was friendly but seemed to be very distracted by other things, we asked for salt and pepper long before our appetizer came and we had to remind her after it hit the table and then it still took a couple of minutes. When my salad came I immediately requested an additional bullet of dressing, Well that never came and even when she removed my salad bowl with over half of the lettuce still in it she didn't catch on. It's a shame for her because I'm a consistent 25%+ cash tipper but she didn't earn that. We will probably go back but definitely ask for a better server. read more

This place is without a doubt the classiest and best restaurant in Little River. We chose to bring our friends here from NC to celebrate a birthday and they were equally impressed. Friday at 6:30 was packed; thankful I had made reservations. Hostess Ava welcomes you but also all over the place wherever needed making sure everything runs smoothly. Armanie is a great bartender. Friendly, attentive, and efficient! The food Never disappoints. Everyone enjoyed their dinners, wine, and dessert (complimentary for our friend's birthday). As busy as this night was you would never know it by the service we received from Isaac. Answers every question, everything was delivered in perfect timing and so cheerful! I have dined at the Parkway Bistro on Rt. 9 in Little River several dozen times since I moved to the area about a year ago. I am sorry I have waited so long to post a review. I find the cuisine exceptional and consistently so. The Parkway Bistro does not offer pizza because it takes away from their focus on the main dishes on the menu. I think this is an excellent strategy. It doesn't matter what I order whether it's fish, steak, or pasta , everything is always done to near perfection. The staff members are always very gracious and engaging. I seldom if ever have to ask for my water to be filled. Service is generally quite fast and friendly in fact, I'm usually quite amazed at how quickly I get served with all the customer traffic coming in and out of the restaurant. They really must have their act together in the kitchen. It gives me great pleasure to recommend Parkway Bistro. read more

We loved this restaurant. Nice atmosphere. The food and the service was good as well. So when three of my friends wanted to go out for dinner, we all choose to come to this restaurant . Well, this time is different. The waitress who served us named Renée. It took her a few tries to get the order correct for one of my friend. When we got our bill, three out of four were completely which was not a big deal. We all make mistakes. The restaurant was not that busy at a time, we told her the bills were wrong. the drama started when she came back to the table, she appeared stressed, rude, obnoxious and started yelling at my friend and me. We were shocked by her behavior! we can not believe people like this even get to work in service industry! it will be a long time before we go to Parkway Bistro in Longs again even though we still love the food there. we can get good food in tons of restaurants around here, bad service will eventually be your loss!! read more

Thank goodness I had 7 witnesses saying otherwise.. very disappointed the way you handled my PENNY in my onion soup.. not even an apology... and the owners wife saying.. we don't have change in the kitchen... what were you trying to say!? our dinners should have been comped... and I could of made a really big deal about it.. but I didn't...you should of made it right.. and you didn't.. you lost 8 regulars that come there all the time.. and do something with your Marsala sauce. it's terrible,! so sad. We do appreciate your business, however, if you feel that our food does not satisfy your expectations you do not have to dine in with us!
