I've been coming to parkside cafe for a few years now. It's my favorite breakfast spot in Pinellas Park. You do need to go in understanding that this is a diner and the food is good but nothing outstanding. That being said they are very reasonably priced and the servers are really friendly! They also serve mimosas if you want to have brunch.

Brunch | $10-20 I love this place!!! The food is awesome. Julie was wonderful as always today. Ruby had her smile as usual. I ordered the patty melt on sourdough bread. It is my go to. The desserts are delicious. I always get two when picking up my order. One for a late night snack. Also the fries are the best!! They are so good they almost didn't make it home

The pancake here is suuuuper fluffy and delicious, if I can recommend one thing here it's definitely that! The omelette was good too, but nothing outstanding. The fruit cup is really good and isn't filled with just melon, I liked that it had some strawberries, grapes, and bananas as well. The service was great and the interior is very cute. It's a nice little diner with pretty good food and decent prices.

A wonderful diner with fantastic service! Myself and some classmates chose this spot because in the early hours in a weekday, you just need a Bloody Mary!! We were sat down right away and accommodations were made for our party which was so helpful! I really feel like we didn't wait long at all for our drinks which was awesome, and the Bloody Mary was spicy and tasty! One simply wasn't enough! I had a sweet tooth this morning and went with the banana and chocolate chip crepes, all I will say is YUM! Everyone else was happy with their mimosas and their meals, overall positive stay and I'm sure we will return!

Sheesh! Stopped here this morning for a late breakfast early brunch with my friends. This place has some incredible food at such reasonable prices. I will be back! I ended up getting a ton of food, and it wasn't even $20 for my total bill. If you pay in cash, it is 2% cheaper. Remember that if you plan on coming. We had the pleasure of having Ana as our waitress, and she was so funny, personal, and had the best attitude. Blackened fish Sammy: 8.7 Cheese hash with eggs: 8.9 Service: 9.4 Scale system 10/10 would be what I want for my last meal 9.9-9.3 driving out of my way to get this 9.2-8.0 like the place and would go back 7.9-7.0 I would come here again if it were presented and don't have anything bad to say 6.9 and below - thanks but no thanks after trying once

I drive past this establishment on 49th St. on the way to work every day. I noticed that on Saturday and Sunday mornings especially it's busy. They have a large parking lot. The facility is very good size. It would appear they go on long weights on the weekends, but the staff is quite efficient. I made my first visit on a Wednesday morning. I was promptly said it wasn't busy at all around 8:30 in the morning. The service was quick and the food delivery equal that. I ordered biscuits and gravy and a side of hashbrowns with eggs and cheese. All in all the food quality is pretty good. I would definitely come back to sample other items on the menu. It's traditional country fair. I wouldn't say that was blown away, but it definitely well worth return visits. Thank you Michael J Beal Clearwater, Florida

Our waitress made this meal fantastic. She was funny and gave great recommendations for lunch and afternoon activities. Would return on our next trip to FL.

WE LOVE IT HERE!!! We have been here several times and thought it was about time I wrote a review. Can't believe I didn't do it sooner. Pro's: Great menu with a variety of food for everyone, even the pickiest eater! Great service. Great location. Many tables. Prices are very reasonable. Great portions & delicious! Con's: You may have to wait a little bit, but really nothing that long. It says a lot when many people come back and even more when people keep coming back. This is a great place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch.

A straightforward menu gives a decent variety and the chef delivered on the flavor. We had the egg Benedict the Gudda grits, and the (not so) French toast. Overall, the food was delicious, but I was extremely disappointed with the "French toast" for some reason, the chef opted for not doing an egg/milk bath for their French toast, which to me is a grave mistake, who wants to dry French toast? This liberty could be excused, and tolerable for the sake of creativity and innovation, IF it was openly, shared on the menu, or by the server. However, this came to a COMPLETE surprise to me AFTER ordering and receiving it. I've never had DRY French toast, nor do I ever wish to again despite the tasty toppings and well executed cinnamon butter cream, it was still not an enjoyable experience, especially if you're expecting classic French toast. That said the eggs Benedict was phenomenal. The pork is perfectly cooked. The biscuits are light and fluffy. And the sauce was immaculate. The Gudda grits surprise me while not being creamy in the same way of grit, I've had in the past, these retained their grit structure, but it kind of melted in your mouth, providing that creamy texture and they add chopped bacon and a sweet I would guess type of reduction in just the right amount to balance the flavor of the Gudda. I do wish they had sausage and hash browns. But it's not that kind of place. My last complaint would be in the potatoes that come with the Benedict. Whatever other option, they have picked those get anything, but those ours came undercooked, and they refried them for us, and they still were just below average which for a place like this. I expected more. Overall, not a bad place. The coffee was phenomenal. I had a dirty Matcha, and it was perfectly executed. Prices aren't terrible for what you'd expect from downtown St Pete at a fancy place, so I was happy. Service was good and friendly. After I expressed my dissatisfaction with the French toast, the manager came over and offered his apologies and remove the item from my bill, even offered to bring us something else, and to have a beverage to go to make up for it. However, I was at the end of our mail and I was ready to get going with the rest of my day, so I said thank you and we departed. Overall, I will not come back for French toast but that eggs Benedict. I would definitely come back and try something else as well. Give it a shot. Just DONT get the French toast. If you like normal French toast.

The vibe was very cozy, clean, and hip, mixing modern design with rattan accents and a dash of greenery. It felt clean, cute, and really thoughtfully put together! Service was great. The staff was friendly, patient, and actually took time to explain popular items without rushing me at all. Loved that!! Parking is a bit limited. It is a small lot with a simple pull-in and back-out setup right onto the road, so it can feel tight. That said, I went around 11am and it worked out just fine with no hassle. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with bacon (plus $2 extra) and homemade lemon aioli on a toasted brioche bun and wow... the presentation was next level. I definitely took way too many photos before even touching it, no regrets! It tasted as good as it looks. Taste-wise, it was sweet, fresh, and super creamy with really nice texture. I also ordered the matcha latte, which was a bit disappointing. The ratio leaned heavily toward milk, making it very milky and lighter in matcha flavor than I expected. Wait time was quick, and pricing felt fair for the quality and experience. Overall, this is such a fun spot for brunch lovers, cute café dates, or anyone just wanting a sweet treat moment. I would 100% come back again!!

When we get into town, they're always our first stop for lunch. They have a pretty extensive menu of options, but our go to is the fried grouper sandwich with American cheese and no lettuce or tomato. Our other go to is the lobster roll. Now this go around we did notice the lobster was more shredded than it was chunks which is what we've seen previously so that was a bit of a change, but overall, it was still good. We've had the onion rings before but this go round we decided to share a side of french fries and we did ask for them crispy. They were perfect. Be prepared to wait though as this location is super small and if you come during a busy season or around that lunchtime period you're most likely going to have to wait. This is not a great location for large groups. If you have more than five people in your group this is probably not the best location for you as they cannot seat more than one large group at a time. But, one thing we did notice is that you can walk up and order to go. That's a great option to have and something we may take advantage of in the future.

When the host came out, she stated that she needed to "clear the area." While we understand the need to manage space, the request was directed at us and was delivered in an unpleasant, dismissive tone. She then said there would be about a 25-minute wait and that there were parties ahead of us, which we understood and accepted. However, we were later told that despite being on the list, we would not be seated because there was "no way to contact us" when our turn came and that we needed to remain in one specific spot. Given that no instructions or staff were present when we arrived, this explanation was confusing and felt inconsistent. The interaction gave the clear impression that we were not welcome to wait or dine there, so we chose to leave. Dining out should feel respectful and inclusive, and unfortunately, that was not our experience here.
