I ordered two eggs corned beef hash home fries. They gave ALOT or corned beef hash but I'm not complaining. However, it was really mushy and the consistency was more "wet." It tasted the same but was really mushy and almost grainy. If texture bothers you and you like it more crispy and well done, I wouldn't order it here. The servers are all great and the food is always consistently amazing. Only thing I wish is that they delivered. They used to deliver but don't anymore. I have eaten at this diner twice and both times, the food was fine and the place was clean. Unfortunately both times the service was not good. . It took a long time for a server to come over and take a drink order, a long time to get my drink and food, and a long time after I was finished eating to get the check. My second time going. My boyfriend and I went last year and experienced poor food so we thought we'd give it another try. Everything on the menu was pretty expensive but we didn't mind that at first. I ordered blueberry pancakes, eggs and sausages, and that came with toast. My pancakes came, plain with regular ol blueberries on top. So that's a 3 dollar difference for a few blueberrys. I kinda figured they'd be cooked into the pancake.. I wouldn't have ordered it in that case. (Do chocolate chip pancakes come with chocolate chips on top?) My toast was cold so it sat there the entire time uneaten with a big block of butter on it. My sausages looked old, wrinkly and gray, the skin was peely.. and my eggs were uncooked in the middle. My boyfriend ordered his meal and it was 'okay' but when he ordered an egg creme (on the menu) they had no idea what it was. The people around us were seated with dishes still left on the table, and the table next to us got dessert free because something wasn't cooked (meat). It's a shame but the attitude in there didn't seem friendly, and the service didn't make up for it. read more

This is by far my favorite diner in the area. Their dinner specials are amazing...everything is super sized. Entrees are flavorful, really good price for the amount of food. Love the random appetizer they give you at dinner before the meal, it's a different treat every time, last time it was pasta salad and chickpeas. I don't know why this diner doesn't have better reviews! My husband and I ordered food off of the diet menu and the portions were good and everything was delicious. I read a review that said that this place was "dingy." I don't see how this is possible if everything in that place is travertine and marble! read more

Food was ok. Wasn't anything spectacular. The thing that made this place not worth going back to was the service. From the hostess to the actual person in charge. The culture of the place is miserable. The employees run from the opportunity to help you and a smile is hard to come by. Specifically, our son spilt his drink and an actual waitress saw it happen. The response was to run the other way. We grabbed napkins from surrounding tables to clean it up. Never once did anyone offer to help. I'm not saying they should clean up my sons mess, but at least offer a napkin or towel so we can make a place for him to sit again. Fix your service. read more

I got a french onion which was pretty gross. Extremely salty. It tasted like they put a piece of texas toast in the soup with garlic instead of onion. For the price, the quality sucks. Only plus is they serve alcohol. Otherwise, go elsewhere. read more

The Park Wayne is, in a word: AWFUL. Our visit this evening (8/16/14)started with my wife and I watching the hostess cut a slice of cake, let it fall into her bare hand and place it on a plate (while we waited to be seated). Yum, ready to serve. Absolutely unsanitary and disgusting. We knew then at the very least, we weren't having dessert. My wife's dish was over-seasoned and terrible tasting (I unfortunately tried what she refused to eat). Breakfast for dinner is hard to screw up, but they managed. Challah bread is supposed to be THICK. They failed at French Toast ! How can a diner do that ? And I have saved the best for last. We walk up to the register to pay. We are NOT greeted by the hostess. She takes my check and cash and hands me my change. Shockingly RUDE ! Not a "how was everything" ? "Thanks for coming" etc. NOTHING. Dead silence. Unappreciative of the business. I sarcastically started and ended this exchange with an "enjoy your evening" comment as we were walking out that hopefully showed her how dissatisfied we both were with our experience here and her flat out rude behavior. We will never eat her again. The silver lining would be for this place to be sold to or begin to be run by traditional diner owners (Greek people!)so that these current owners can go back to whatever Middle Eastern hole they recently crawled out of. Horrible place !!was dinning there while a bunch of middle schoolers came in from what they call a cantine a Wayne ritual for years now . I saw these kids treated like total crap , the servers where rude and kurt to theses kids which I actually thought well behaved . The worst part was I saw a neighbors kid there and I told the server that I wanted his tables bill and she was actually reluctant and I was puzzled so I asked a second time with a bit more purpose and quickly figured out why . Three kids that had simple fries and shakes charged an inflated amount SHAME ON YOU !!! Last year Wayne Hills dinner was on TV for ripping off kids on like event night . Sad ! OMG, Don't go this diner. The owner is good and most of servers are so good. However, one waitress, the one is horrible. She has worked in this restaurant since old owner operated the business. I think that's way the new owner couldn't fire her. She basically doesn't like the customers. She chose the customers she like to be kind for. Her character is so weird and somehow she has psychic problem. You don't want to sit in a diner where that kind of lady is serving around. I one time came late for the meeting with my friends at this restaurant. As soon as I sat on the seat, she asked 'what do you want?' so I asked a cup of water first. This psycho lady responded my asking right away saying you see the water cup while pointing at my friends' water cups which they hadn't drunk yet. I thought it was joking. She was not! I've know this diner since over 23 years. I just came back for the first time in years, the crab egg Benedict was great but the service sucked. They have young high school or so kids serving who don't know what they're doing. I 4 different people came took my drink order and I never got it for a long while. I ate here on new years day 2015 and was the worst experience. My friend and I ordered our food and all we wanted to drink was water with lemon, and had to wait 10 minutes to order it after we ordered our food. " I always thought diners gave you water with out asking but this was not the case". Our food finally came out after 15 minutes and our food was cold, the cheese on the french fries was not melted at all and the gravy looked like oil. The buffalo chicken wraps we had were also cold the chicken was a little cold and once again the cheese inside was no where near melted. Along with the food being cold the service was horrible, our waiter was M.I.A even to the point where we had to ask another server for our waiter and even they could not find him. " it was not even busy at all". Overall was not happy with the food or service here and i will not be going back. read more
