Stopped using this tailor after he altered my pants with one leg shorter than the other. When I let him know and gave him the opportunity to fix the mistake, he became angry and told me that one of my legs must be shorter than the other, because his "measurements were correct." Lol - okay, buddy. As others have said he didn't offer to refund my money or do anything to remedy the issue. His only response was to get angry. He lost a good customer. Went in for simple alterations on 2 pairs of pants. I explained in detail on what i expected to be done. The guy gave me a quote, and I was told to come back in a week. Went back in a week, and the job was done incomplete and totally wrong. He said i initially never told him anything but to make the pants shorter. He didn't apologize at all and said 10 dollars more per pair of pants. I said fine whatever and left the pants for another week. When I picked the pants up, I explained to him once more about what I initially said, and he said no, i didn't tell him that and stood his ground. I paid the additional 20 dollars and told him he lost a customer. The man clearly can't understand English, and for him being in a detail oriented type of business, this is hugely detrimental. When I got home, I closely inspected my pants again and found on one pair a scissor slice that went all the way through the material and some repair tape underneath it. These pants are brand new and have never been worn. I seriously doubt this clown would ever consider replacing them, and he would probably would just laugh it off. I will never go back to this butcher and I highly advise anyone to look elsewhere for their tailoring needs. read more

He has fixed up small things like shirts and pants as well as dresses that needed so much help I wouldn't trust anyone else. Mr. Park is the best tailor I've ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I ordered a vintage taffeta prom dress from ebay and was disappointed when it didn't fit very well upon arrival. Mr. Park effortlessly took in the waist of the dress, even though it had a side zipper that complicated the process. The new seam is so subtle that you can't even tell the dress was altered! He also got it done perfectly on time, despite the large amount of other prom dresses he had to alter. The best part is that he did it all for a reasonable price of about $30. If I had gone to Unique Alterations it probably would have been at least twice that. I'll definitely trust Mr. Park with any garments I need altered in the future! read more

I took my daughters graduation dress here and spoke to a man with very poor English. I explained that I needed the dress hemmed and shoulder sleeves removed since it already had spaghetti straps. (Straps hang off the shoulder) When I picked it up a week later, the day before graduation, I was shocked. He charged $70 and removed the spaghetti straps and left the sleeves and hemmed the dress. I didn't realize the mistake until after I got home and had to drive back. Luckily he was still open and I explained the mistake. He still had the straps and said for me to return by 6 pm and grabbed the dress out of my hands. I returned at 6 pm and he insisted I changed my mind. I told him obvious miscommunication due to language barrier. He was very rude, overpriced and I will never take anything back to this place. read more

I took in a sport coat and pants for alterations. When I returned to pick it up, my order had been mixed up with another customer. The jacket and pants were not mine. Returned a few days later to discover that my pants had not been hemmed with cuffs as requested. He insisted that I had not asked for cuffs (even though I don't own any pants without cuffs). There was no attempt to move on and fix the problem. I just left the store expressing my disgust regarding the the entire experience. read more

Finally found my go to tailor. This gentleman understands and knows his craft. Fixed three suits that had several different issues and made them fit perfectly. Worst customer service ever. I went in to have school uniforms (kindergarten) hemmed. Owner wrote up ticket. I inquired regarding the price. He stated $10 pair. I only replied that another mother told me she had paid $5/pair for hemming. Owner pushed pants toward me and tore up ticket in my face--there was no need to be so rude. I was not rude towards him. My first experience at Park Tailor was for tailoring of jeans. At my request, Mr. Park kept original hem with zipper, tapered, and cinched in at waist a pair of jeans. His attention to detail was impeccable. As he was fitting and pinning the garment, he asked several questions such as the heel height I would be wearing and different variations on the length I should consider. Never did I feel he was unclear about the work that was about to be done. Not only that , I asked him if he could rush this because of a pending NY trip. Mr Park delivered !!!! I was thrilled with my jeans. Did I mention they were Balmain? Now since then, I've returned for other hemming and tailoring needs of dresses, leather pants, and skirts. All with different tailoring needs i.e hemming, cinching, tapering, removing and replacing zippers, straps on dresses, etc. always with the same result--- Excellent!! Mr Park is polite, meticulous, professional, and prompt. My only regret is that it took me this long to find him in my own hometown! If you are looking for an excellent tailor , this is the place to go. I know previous reviews included a jab at his accent. Unless his accent interferes with his work or his understanding of tailoring technique, then it's not even worth addressing. read more

Mr. Park is a true craftsman! I took my suit for alteration and the guy helped take my measurements and promised to speed up the alteration before a business appointment I had later that week. This guy is a pro! The suit feels like it's custom made and he gave me a call when it was ready. I've lived in the neighborhood for several years but had never heard of Mr. Park until recently. I've never been too thrilled with other tailors in the area so I decided to look around for other options. Thanks to Yelp, I discovered Mr Park. I've now taken three pairs of dress pants in for alterations (two for hemming and one for hemming and waist alteration). I have also had three suit jackets altered (two for sleeve shortening and one for sleeve shortening and adjusting the shoulder width). The results were perfect. He is a man of few words but that does not matter to me. All I care about is competence and end result. I guess I would characterize his persona as quiet confidence. I just picked up my daughter's prom dress from Park Tailor (next to Big Lots). I'M NEVER GOING THERE AGAIN!!! The hemline is very crooked and pointy in the back and front. He left red marking lines all along the bottom of the dress that look like lipstick, and he did not press it, like he said he would. He had the dress for 6 days!!! Now, I have to rush to fix it myself. And on top of all this, he's not even a nice guy... in fact, he's pretty rude. I paid $50 for this mess. read more
