I needed a tweezer, and the lovely young woman working greeted me and asked if I needed help. She came over and we discussed the relative differences between the many tweezers and I made my choice. What makes this five stars is that she gave her honest opinion. It was sincere and not the most expensive option. It was based on her experience trying all of the tweezers. I appreciate that sort of sales integrity. As I was checking out, she also corrected all the information on my account, new phone number, etc. So, thank you young woman, whose name I neglected to get, for making my quick stop at Sally's great.

But if you're wanting something that requires more skill, Appearances could be the place for you. While their prices are definitely not at the same level as Supercuts at $35, neither is the haircut you'll get. I have only seen one of their stylists, Christy, but I have friends who swear by Steve, who I believe is the owner. I have never left Appearances feeling disappointed or like I did not get my money's worth, which is more than I can say for most of the other places I've been to. If you've got the money to spend on it, Appearances is a great place to get a cut.

Who knew they would be one of the places that stopped fighting for LGBT+ just because it's a little hard or inconvenient? disappointing.
