5 Stars - Amazing Experience!…read more I've been seeing Evlalia for over 3 years now, and I can't recommend her enough! From the very first appointment, she made me feel comfortable and really listened to what I wanted for my hair. She is also realistic about what's possible, and I always appreciate their honest input on what will work best for my hair type. She is extremely welcoming, friendly, and sweet! She values healthy hair and will help keep your hair as healthy as possible when coloring. She also does not try to up-charge or sell you things you don't need. What stands out most is how open she is when you want to make an adjustment. When I come in she asks if I want to change anything of if there wasn't anything I liked last time. She wants you to give honest feedback. I never feel uncomfortable about making tweaks. Plus, the vibe is always so friendly and laid-back--it feels like chatting with a friend while getting your hair done. The time always flies by. She always styles my hair just how I like and the style last for at least 3 days, and I am typically her person who washes their hair everyday. It is basically a miracle it lasts that long for me. The space is really warm and nice. Everyone in the space is friendly and welcoming. If you're looking for a stylist who's not only skilled but also genuinely cares about your satisfaction, Evlalia is your person!

I am not a hairy person, but I have had them waxed- and threaded- quite a few times. It was definitely the most pleasant at Ruby's- it smelled great in her studio, and she applied a few lotions and potions to me throughout the process- including a sunscreen- which makes sense, but which I hadn't had applied previously. The process was "relatively" painless, and my brows were a pretty shape and not red like they had been after previous waxings. I will be back on future visits to Corvallis.
