We sold the big house in McLean and did a major downsizing to Park Georgetown. Our 60lb dog drove a lot of our options. Park Georgetown accepts pets, is in a quiet neighborhood with lots of mature trees, sidewalks and the nearby Fort Bennett Park. Georgetown and Rosslyn are a short walk. We looked at a lot of apartments and Park Georgetown's amenities and location were great for us. The price was good too. Moving from a 5BR house with a large yard was a bit of a change for us. We gave up our modern LG washer/dryer, back patio, landscaping, hot tub, driveway parking and tons of storage. It turns out, we got everything but the hottub at Park Georgetown. The laundry rooms have the same LG washers that we loved at home, but more of each. We had a unit with a rooftop terrace that was great for entertaining. Parking is not an issue in front of or adjacent to our apartment. The large closets were a bit too large, allowing us to do a bit of hoarding rather than finishing the downsizing exercise. We were not typical renters, with most of the renters our daughters' ages. The community had a lot of energy and an interesting and friendly group of folks. The staff were great. Our dog made certain that every walk included a visit to the office for a visit with the staff and a dog biscuit; he was not the only dog to do that, we met many of the pet owners. Park Georgetown is a well maintained building that contain some post-WWII block apartments and newer garden-style apartments. I was familiar with the older block apartments as friends of mine have lived there off and on since I moved to the area 32 years ago. That is what we went for. The General Manager was busy with capital improvements to landscape sprinklers, exterior paint and window upgrades during our tenure. Each unit gets fresh paint and varnished floors between tenants. The maintenance team was always hard at work and we got to know the gentlemen over our year there. Luckily, we did not need them to fix anything in our unit. When we move back to the area we will consider Park Georgetown again. read more

Maintenance is ATROCIOUS and the people who answer the emergency maintenance line don't even work here or live near here. They don't know any information at all and are only open during normal business hours so good luck if you have a genuine emergency happen to you outside of 9-6. Management is a joke as well and none of them communicate with each other. Laundry is a joke machines never work I would never recommend this place to anyone. read more

Maintenance is great here. We were having issues with our dishwasher and Franklin Lopez helped replace it with a brand new one.

Im am finishing my year at Park Georgetown, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time. The complex is far enough from downtown Rosslyn to feel suburb-y but close enough to walk (10-15 min. to get to Rosslyn Metro Station). The strip with Ray's Hell Burger and Bean Good coffee, etc. is also a short walk. The rent prices are no fabulous. Its no diamond in the rough, but it is affordable. Current 1 bedroom prices are about $1600. I can't believe I am saying that is affordable (not used to city living yet I suppose), but after shopping around a lot, it is the one of the best values you can find. Unlike some reviewers, I have had absolutely no problems with the management. Fabian, the manager, has always been extremely nice to me. Both the new front desk girl, and the previous one have also been great. If I email or call with questions I typically get a quick response. Maintenance requests go through the managing companies hotline, and someone is typically knocking on my door the same day. Amenities aren't fabulous. The gym is small not exactly super modern looking, but is functional. There is a grill area which would have been great, but its typically already in use when I want to use it. There are in-building laundry facilities, and that about rounds out the amenities. It is close to a park with a basketball court, and a small hiking trail through the woods. Lastly, this is a great apartment complex for having a dog. There are many dog owners, so plenty of people to socialize with on walks. Also, the small buildings mean its simple and easy to take your dog outside. They have plenty of doggy bag dispensers around, and the park nearby acts as a (non-recognized, possibly illegal due to the dogs being off-leash) dog park. read more

Park Georgetown Apartments - Park Georgetown - Apartments Near Me - Arlington, Virginia

A little backstory before I get into my review. I made a cross-country move from Denver, Colorado to Arlington, Virginia. It was the most stressful thing I have been through in my life thus far, but the staff at Park Georgetown, especially Chris. He gave me so much support, answered every question I had, and helped manage my apartment while I was still moving out to VA. The kindness that the staff in the leasing office showed me at Park Georgetown is unmatched. They are so so helpful and kind, and really make you feel like a part of their community. The maintenance is quick and efficient in fixing any issues I have. This apartment complex is everything I could have wished for and more. It is the perfect, quiet spot away from the city but it is still close enough for every need! I am so so so happy with my apartment at Park Georgetown and plan to stay for a very very long time! read more

My roommate and I have lived in Park Georgetown since July 2018 and will be sadly moving out next month. Reflecting on our experience here has inspired me to write a review. JR and Richard are amazing. You will never meet someone more friendly, helpful and proactive than JR. As you will read in the other reviews, the complex is not state of the art and there are repairs that need to be made. Maintenance is very responsive and Richard is a pleasure to work with. We had a beehive in our wall and Richard's crew would check in on us every day. The community is quiet and safe. My friends and I would consistently meet at Dawson's park down the street for Kan Jam, picnics, or a game of basketball. The metro is a 12-15 minute walk but honestly, you get used to it because you always have to walk far in DC (compared to NYC). The price is hard to beat and parking is free. With that said you pay for what you get, there isn't a fancy gym, there isn't a pool or a game/common room. While I was sometimes jealous of my friend's apartments I realized they paid more than me and I could always go visit if I wanted that. Hope this helps anyone looking! read more

DO NOT RENT! Do yourself a favor and look at zillow.com, realtors.com, Craigslist, or any apt site to rent. This is a VERY OLD place and they only patch problems...no improvements. Worst year of my life. Be prepared to call maintenance A LOT. Cons: -CAN SEE YOU SHOWERING FROM OUTSIDE; frosted shower window lets everyone see your silhouette if you shower with the lights on in the bathroom. CAREFUL LADIES! You will notice lids and all kinds of bottles on shower windowsills...that's why. - SHARED BUILDING WATER HEATER: shower temp changes if some other apartment flushes - NO INSULATION: walls are block...seriously... knock on them. Can't hang things with nails. Winter is freezing w/ice inside windows. Cold breeze literally coming from walls. Summer is hot. Air/heat is always on & loud (need to turn up TV) and it is expensive (even tho no water heater). -UNSALTED STAIRS IN WINTER: Most people are gone by time maintenance comes in. I had to break the ice with a hammer at 5am every time. -VENT SMELLS: Neighbors cooking comes through vents -BUGS: bugs bugs bugs. Spiders, ants, centipedes, silverfish, mites all over rusty shower window and spread thru apt. Silverfish and spiders literally drop from skylight. Mites in shower. Pest control couldn't stop them. Came for bi-weekly treatments May-Present. Thanks for all the chemicals...goes great with my organic food. Management said they were looking for somewhere warm...umm its summer in VA...it is HOT. Also suggested it was from my dogs...interesting because I've never seen them before, never had to call pest control in any other apartment, and they are on the shower window! So unless my 2 large dogs are somehow matrix-laying on the shower window wall their theory is impossible. -LAUNDRY ROOM: No one cleans dryer vents & others hair ends up all over your clothes. About $3.20 to wash/dry 1 load. -PAINT: Layer after layer of paint -HOT WATER: shower and sink will not warm up until you run the tub. Maintenance literally told me it was because I was 2 floors up and it takes a while for the hot water to get there. I let sink water run for 2 minutes while using electric toothbrush timer and it was still cold. -YELLOW BATHROOM/KITCHEN STREAKS: down walls and drips from ceiling when showering -BATHROOM SINK CLOGS: when dishwasher is running. -Management will provide inaccurate info to get you to sign. Told me I could change locations if a top floor opens up before I move in. Turns out that was wrong. After complaining for DAYS they let me switch. After two poor surveys I did, asst mgr said I could move early. I specifically asked if there would be any fees she said no. When I contacted them that I found a new place they said nope...you'll have to pay 2 mo rent plus fees. I'm sorry...there are mites all over that you have been treating bi-weekly since May and there is little improvement! So I have to live with bi-weekly poison in my house because you don't clean the outside of the buildings?!? -NO UPKEEP: No building upkeep or outside cleaning. Windows/shrubs have spider webs, gutters overflow. Van Metre does no improvements making it horrible. Regional mgr Glenn said in July: they have been talking about hiring pressure washers since January (really? It takes that long? Really?), they sent out survey for replacement windows (maybe you should just replace them all instead of being so cheap...you can FEEL the cold air come through...seriously...my curtains moved all winter). Pros: 1. Neighborhood surrounding apartments Seriously, look on zillow. There are adorable condos a block over that are right across from a great park. And they are cheaper ($1500s). For $1700/mo I expect more. Way more. I have never had to put in so many tickets. Sometimes I had to put them in again because they "got lost". Wtf. read more

This place seems to have a lot of reviews from 2008-2010 so here is a modern, January 2015 one. Park Georgetown is a reasonable place to live. As other reviews point out, it is walking distance from Rosslyn, there is easy access to the Curtis biking/walking trail, and a few small sized parks nearby. I also see a lot of people with dogs so that may be helpful or harmful, depending on what you are looking for. In general there is a mix of students, professionals, and older folks. I've never had problems with my neighbors. People are amicable and boilerplate friendly given an urban environment. The apartments are pretty outdated and could use a punch-in-the-gut update to at least 1990s newness. Each building with 10 units has 2 washers and 2 dryers in the basement. About $4 to wash and dry. I'm not sure how many the other sized buildings have. The fitness room is always occupied. At 7am, 12p, or 7pm I have never been able to get one of the two treadmills. The younger women always seem to fight their way there. This forces one to the YMCA or nearby and overpriced Gold's Gym. The free-weights are usually open. There is a stationary cycle as well as well as a few other traditional exercise room clutter. none of which I have used. Management are OK. Mostly newer inexperienced property managers and "community captains." They respond to resident queries and concerns in a timely manner. Overall, this place is a safe neighborhood and presents a moderate value with all things considered. read more

I agree with most of Mike's review, but I'll make my little contribution. Let's start with the good things: 1. Some apartments have nice wooden floors and I love that. 2. There are plenty of windows and light. 3. Location: 15 min walk from the Rosslyn metro and from M-Street at Georgetown. That's awesome. 4. There is a gym (*with its downsides). 5. Parking: If you are a resident it is included in the rent. If you are a visitor there is plenty of parking space outside, even for overnight guests. 6. I haven't called maintenance often but when I have they have been very responsive. 7. Price: You can find much better options in Rosslyn for $100-200 more. But if you are trying to save money while living in this great location, then this is probably your safest bet. 8. If I'm not mistaken, up to 3 people can sign a lease... even if the apartment has 2 rooms and a big living room (get it? this is great for G-town students). Now, the pitfalls: 1. Safety: While the area is fairly safe, the Custis trail is not properly illuminated and a huge wall hides it from Lee Highway... This is not PGA's responsibility, but I would strongly recommend people to be careful walking back from the metro after dark, especially women. Better safe than sorry. 2. Gym: While I'm glad that its free, it's a bit small. 3. Laundry is not inside the apartment, but Mike already said that. read more

While the apartment complex is in a fantastic location, the company is horrifically mismanaged. The apartments are fairly inexpensive for their location (1600/month for a large one bedroom). The quality of life at this complex is relatively poor. Much of the occupants are younger, collegy. The noise level in the building can be intensive at times. Lost of partying college kids who like to play loud music into the night. The management however, is absolutely atrocious. While they manage packages things consistently get "lost" when in fact they are most likely stolen. I've had two very expensive packages that have gone missing this year even though a staff member signed for the package. If you want anything changed in your unit good luck getting in contact with the staff. The management tends to be extremely defensive when issues are brought up and nothing appears to be solved. While you can walk to the Rosslyn metro station within 15 minutes, it is far more worth it to spend the little extra cash on a better quality apartment. I would not recommend the Park Georgetown to anyone! read more

I've lived here for nearly a year and no complaints. Stephanie, JR, Richard, & everyone is so attentive and helpful when anything comes up! Amazing value for the location - can't beat it! Close to everything but in a nice, quiet neighborhood so feels more comfy than the apartment complexes that feel like hotels. Perfect for me, love it! read more

I waited at the leasing office today for almost two hours this afternoon until someone showed up. They said the office is open 10-5 today. Not sure why they think it's okay to close the office for this long in the middle of the day with no explanation. All the phone numbers go to hotlines so it's impossible to get a hold of anyone. read more

We have been living in Park Georgetown since July and have only had positive experiences so far. JR and the rest of the team are extremely nice and always happy to help. The complex is pet friendly and almost everyone seems to have a pet around here. Even with dogs around at all times the area is kept clean and the neighborhood is quiet while being in a great location. It's a 10-12 minute walk to the subway and 20 minute walk across the bridge to Georgetown. The only issue is that the place does need a lot of updating and things break pretty easily, but the maintenance crew is always great and fixes things right away. We are happy to live here and will probably stick around for a while read more

I never take the time to write reviews on Yelp, but I absolutely have to thank Stephanie, JR, Chris, and everyone at Park Georgetown for being the best property managers I could imagine. I lived here from June 2016 - August 2020. I was a medical resident at GW hospital throughout this time, and I didn't really have time to deal with any extra headaches outside of work. Thankfully, the team at Park Georgetown is wonderful! On the one occasion when my sink backed up and started to overflow when I ran the dishwasher, a repair person was at my apartment within 15 minutes of my initial call to fix it. On the other handful of occasions when I requested minor repairs, everything was taken care of within days. On the one occasion when I accidentally didn't pay rent on time because I forgot to extend the end date of my auto-payments after extending my lease, they graciously waived the late fee. I could go on and on, but you get the idea ... at every step of the way, the whole team went above and beyond to be kind, helpful, and gracious. I'm moving to another area for work, but I wish they could be my property managers forever! -Josh read more

We lived in Park Georgetown for 3 months while we were in the process of buying a house, and it could not have been a better experience. It was one of few apartment complexes that had short-term leases without ridiculous rates, free parking, and didn't charge outrageous fees for pets (we had two cats and some apartments wanted $500 per cat nonrefundable!) My husband works in Rosslyn and it was about a 12 minute walk from the apartment to his office and about 20 minutes across the bridge to Georgetown. We were also able to get a storage unit for all of our excess stuff. The laundry was plentiful and we never had to wait for a machine (although I did it during working hours, so I can't speak to nights and weekends). You are in the flight path of DCA, but you get used to it really quickly. Even my toddler wasn't bothered by the planes and actually loved looking for them while we ate lunch. The smell the first week was really strong from the new paint and what I assume was floor finishing, but opening the windows really helped. We would've enjoyed living there longer had we not bought a house. read more

I went to Park Georgetown Apts during my frantic search to find housing after living overseas for 15+ years. JR, the leasing consultant, spent 2+ hours with me going over all the options and touring me through the property. The customer service, at least what was provided by JR, was out-of-the-ordinary. JR was not concerned about winning new residents, but making sure that new movers made the right choice. If I did not decide to buy, I would have rented no doubt at Park Georgetown. The property looks a bit older, but I was impressed by the cleanliness and extra amenities (e.g. storage, package room, easy walking distance to the best metro stop). read more

The leasing agent strongly suggested me to come for a visit as their apartments are "very popular" and I should make my decision asap to save my spot. However, we I got there, no one was in the leasing office and a group of visitors and I waited outside for half an hour. After that, although they sound enthusiastic in emails and via phone, the agents were unable to show me the 2b2b that I was looking for but showed a 1bedroom apartment in basement instead. The agent, Stephanie Andrade, sounded very inpatient throughout the tour and blamed me for showing up "without notice(after I showed up 30 mins after our phone conversation)". Moreover, as I expressed my concern that the apartment is a bit far from the metro in answer to her question "do you have any concern?", she said that she didn't understand why I could have spent 12 mins from metro to the Apartments since it only took her 7 to 9 mins, maybe it's because her "legs are long"! Agent Stephanie Andrade has clearly succeeded in making me speechless. I wish there were a zero star or negative rating option. They do not even deserve an one-star rating. Caution to anyone who's interested in renting their apartments: You will definitely regret your decision if you sign the lease. read more

I have lived at Park Georgetown with my wife since mid-2008. There are bright spots and pretty awful situations that occurred during my residency. We are actively looking for a new place when our lease is up. First, the good: the maintenance people were always helpful, pleasant, and fixed things quickly. The apartment was very large for a 1 bedroom. We had no idea how much crap we had accumulated in two years in what seemed like a small space. The kitchen is also a good size for an apartment. The location is a 15 minute walk (or less for the apartments closest) to the metro, or 20 to the centre of Georgetown. Though, the bad really pulled the rating down: the management is not respectful when they deal with tenants. They will tell you one thing on Monday, and when you call on Thursday to act on it they will act as if they never spoke to you or told you something totally different. This behaviour has cost us quite a fistful of change over the years! Management takes a very combative and hostile approach to any concerns or problems you share with them. There is a lot of dog poop on the grounds. If you walk in the grass at all you will get crap on your shoes. The buildings are in disrepair - water leaks around the window frame and wall, bugs get in from everywhere, and we routinely found mouse droppings under our sink despite there being no food open in the kitchen. Laundry machines will eat your money and then not work - especially the dryers. Overall, the location drew us here. Blue line access in a nice part of arlington is special - it's not the sardine-can orange line. But overall, if I had to do it over again I would not have signed the lease (or the renewal)! We renewed because at the time, we were both very busy with work and had no time to move. read more

We have lived at PGT for several years and it has been a great experience! The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. Stephanie and JR in the office are always happy to see us and Hugo and Richard are always helpful when we have a maintenance need. I have absolutely LOVED living at Park Georgetown for the past year. I wanted to list some of my favorite things about living here because I would recommend these apartments to anyone moving to the area. 1. VERY Safe - I am a female in my mid-twenties who moved to DC last October. My biggest concern was living in an area I would feel comfortable walking around in at night. There have been several days that I've worked late hours, and I have never felt unsafe walking back to my apartment. The entire walk and the apartment complex are very well lit. 2. Close to Everything - Park Georgetown is only a 15 minute walk to the Rosslyn Metro station - perfect for commuting to work - or anywhere else. You can also walk to Georgetown in 20 minutes. Georgetown is FULL of all kinds of shops and restaurants. Clarendon is another area you can walk to in about 20 minutes that also has streets full of restaurants and shops - and a movie theatre that has recliners for seats! The Rosslyn Metro is only one stop away from Arlington Cemetery and only a handful of stops to the Smithsonian Museums. You will want to see all of these things at least once! 3. Running/Biking trails - The Custis trail is literally steps off Park Georgetown property. This trail takes you to the Mount Vernon trail which goes all the way down to Mount Vernon in Alexandria (many miles!) You can run down to Reagan Airport (about 10 miles roundtrip) - there is a field where you can watch the planes fly right over your head before they land! The other great part about this trail is that it will take you to the Arlington Memorial Bridge and you can run into DC. A great run is to go across the bridge, past the Lincoln Memorial, and all the way down to the Washington Monument (about 6 miles roundtrip). 4. Garden style apartments with lots of trees! - I am not from a big city, so I did not want to live in a high-rise apartment complex. Each building only has 3 floors, so you can very easily get outside. With all of the trees, you don't feel like you are in the middle of a city. The lawns are beautifully maintained - the grass really is always green - and there are always flowers blooming. 5. Friendly staff - The second time I walked into the front office to pick up a package, the staff already knew my name. My grandma sends me lots of packages, so after a few more times all of them remembered not only my name and which apartment I was in - but also where I was from, where I worked, and that I liked to run. They never fail to ask how everything is going with the apartment and things in general. They are willing to help you in any way they can with whatever you may need - all you have to do is ask. Maintenance is also extremely helpful and will fix any problem you have very quickly. As I said before - I'm not from a big city so when I first moved to the DC area I thought the rent was so high at every apartment complex I looked at! However, when I compared Park Georgetown to other apartments - I am so glad I spent a little bit more than I had planned to be in a very safe area and to also be so close to all the things I mentioned. So to sum it all up... if you are looking for a great place to live, I would definitely recommend setting up a meeting with the staff and taking a tour of Park Georgetown! read more

My husband and I lived at Park Georgetown for four years. The only reason we moved was because we purchased a house. Park Georgetown was a fantastic place to live. The management really goes above and beyond to make the residents comfortable. And maintenance is always quick to respond to any major or little concern. The apartments are pretty basic, but many have fantastic patios or balconies. They are also very clean upon move-in. The grounds of the complex are kept maintained and they work hard to beautify everything. You can't beat the neighborhood. You are close to the blue and orange lines at the Rosslyn metro station, and you can very easily walk to Georgetown. Many of your home owning neighbors have paid $900K+ to live in this neighborhood. Considering that, the rent prices are quite a deal. The complex is extremely dog friendly which is great. The only downside is that the washers and dryers are not in the units and can be difficult to get to depending on which building you live in. We managed to make it work for four years though. I would highly recommend Park Georgetown to anyone looking for an apartment. read more

Okay - so 3.5 stars for the actual apartment but 5 for the management! Apartments are on the older side and do not have laundry in the room or higher end kitchen features but its not too bad for the cheaper price! Management makes it worth staying for a long time! Matt, the property manager, is the most sincere manager I have ever met. ANY problem I ever have, he addresses quickly and extremely kindly. He really represents a brand that every company should wish their Management did. The rest of the staff is awesome too. Stephanie is so personable and Jennifer is helpful with any and everything. Maybe we will see some updates to the property in the future but hopefully the management stays!! read more

Needs major major updates. I put in a maintenance request almost every two weeks. Management(STEPHANIE) treats you like you don't pay a whole lot to live there and just very entitled. There are way better places for the price you pay. Literally the only pro is that parking is included. That is it. Nothing else is a pro of this place. read more

I would have to say that this complex is one of the best in the area we have seen. We are looking for a new place to move to and stopped by. The neighborhood is quiet clean and child friendly, a bonus as a mom, the schools in Arlington are one of the best in the state so being close to so many above average schools (Francis Scott Key, Arlington Traditional and a few more) is something we were also looking t when looking at this great place! I know one thing for sure is that this place is being moved to the top of our list! Parking is available, and the units are clean! Let me tell you if you are looking in the arlington area for a place to live Park Georgetown Apartments is the place y'all have to go! Spent the summer here and had an amazing time. It's in a great location that gives you access to the the best of both worlds, Arlington and Georgetown. The staff was great. I did not really encounter any problems and the staff was always around for any questions or help I needed. They also throw events for the community that I heard were very fun (Unfortunately, I couldn't make it but wish I did). I recommend this place anyone. It has a lot to offer every age group from undergrads in town for summer internships and above. Sad I had to leave, but if I move back to the area I'd definitely try to get a spot there again. read more

I've lived at Park Georgetown for just over a year and I must say, I regret signing a second lease with this company. The first year, I had little contact with management, so I didn't notice how bad they really were. Stay away from the carpeted units as your place will smell terribly within a month. I consider myself fairly hygienic, but strange smells just stick to the carpet. They walls were painted using cheap paint, so any furniture that contacts the wall will have paint rub onto it. The gym is convenient, but I don't believe that it's been cleaned once in the past year. They provide some windex and paper towels. Despite the high prices, the apartment itself isn't too bad. However, I must say that the biggest problem is management. They will lie to you concerning the specifics of your apartment. They won't allow you to see your unit prior to signing and move-in. They will, however, show you a "comparable" unit which turns out to be much nicer than the apartment they give you. Finally, it is readily apparent that management has created fake accounts and posted on apartmentratings.com. The apartment is a part of Van Metre signature apartments, and not once have I been asked for any feedback. I would suggest that people be wary of Park Georgetown and possibly any other apartments associated with Van Metre. read more

I'm going to stat by writing a positive post because a lot of people just like to state the negatives. I've lived here since last June and I have no real problems with this place. I would stay here if i could. PROs: - It has a nice garden style feel, which is good if you have a dog, and they provide doggy bags and trashcans around the property. - Plenty of parking and parking is FREE! Also plenty of street parking for guests. I've never had a problem with parking here. - Very close to the metro and to DC. It's like a 20 minute walk to georgetown. Also near the custis trail that you can jog/walk on. - Management is awesome. They remember everyone's name and are always happy to help and very friendly. - Maintenance is awesome. - hardwood floors in some of the apartments, super easy to clean. - You can't really hear your neighbors unless they're really stomping around hard or yelling at the top of their lungs. - Pretty decently priced for the area and the property handles water and trash so all you have to pay is electricity and your cable/internet bills. - package concierge is new and allows you to pick up packages 24/7. Its in the basement of one of the buildings and you just create a pin, punch it in at the machine, and it opens a locked drawer with your package in it. CONs: - No washer and dryer in units. You have to go into a basement of one of the buildings to do laundry and its like $3.25 per load. While this is not exactly convenient, you can get like 3-4 loads of laundry done at once, all in under 2 hours. - buildings are older, so don't expect stainless steel or anything. Pretty well maintained though for their age. I have found that the windows tend to get mold around them, but they'll take care of that for you no problem. - gym is small, but then again, with the Custis trail there you don't really need a huge gym. - kitchen is small, there is only one narrow drawer in the whole kitchen. If you can get creative its not that bad though. - Bathroom is very small. like can't close the door if your on the toilet small. If it's just you in there though, its not bad. I've never really had a huge issue with this. read more

Stephanie, Matthew, Jennifer and Hose are the best! They are very friendly and go out of their way to make things happen. I have to admit that I was a little skeptical when I found out Park Georgetown Apartments was in the process of hiring a new manager a handful of months ago. I had already lived there one year and was quite impressed with the quality of service I had been receiving; I wasn't sure how it could get much better. Needless to say, I was wrong. I lived at Park Georgetown for 2 years and I can't say enough about this 200 unit property that is spread out and tucked away on the quiet side of Rosslyn. Its initial appeal was that it's in a great location (right on the bike path, in between Georgetown and Clarendon), within walking distance to the metro and it's serene and extremely well-kept park-like setting. The entire time I lived there, more specifically since undergoing new management, I could not have been more impressed. A few things to highlight: Maintenance. Emergent or not, all maintenance issues are immediately taken care of without question. They have an easy-to-use maintenance phone line and call after your service is completed to make sure everything was taken care of to your liking and in a timely manner. All the workers are also very respectful when they come into your unit. Next: management and office staff. No need to be intimidated when walking into this office. Anytime you go into the office, you're greeted with an experienced, yet casual and friendly staff willing to answer your questions and straighten out anything you need. They go above and beyond to accommodate your wishes or work out details to better serve your apartment needs. I've never rented from a more attentive management team. Lastly: Social events. Park Georgetown tries to have a one event a month where their occupants have a chance to get to know their neighbors a little better. In the winter it's something like a happy hour at a local joint and in the summer an outdoor party on the patio (equipped with a huge grill for use anytime) stacked with food and drinks (beer, wine, soda). In between there's smaller events to stop in the office for and grab snacks they're offering. These are just a few reasons this property is unmatched by any other. I would encourage anyone to sign a lease here if possible. I will truly miss the dependability of renting from Park Georgetown. read more

I've lived here for almost three years, and I think it's the best steal in Arlington. It's walking distance to Clarendon, the Rosslyn Metro (orange and blue lines), and Georgetown. The rent's not nearly as expensive as other places nearby because the units are older, but it's a compromise I've been more than willing to make. Plus, the front office staff and maintenance men are fantastic. Definitely give it a try! read more
