Teeeee-riffic place…read more My problem: I had just purchased a $140 Calvin Klein red sheath dress for Christmas doings in Arizona. It looked lovely on me! I wore it only twice. Then, a big grease splatter pockmarked the front on Christmas Eve... I couldn't even wear it on Christmas as planned. Without thinking, I dabbed a tinnnny bit of water and Dial soap on a washcloth and tried to wipe some of the grease away. It dried overnight and in the morning, I was met with a large water stain that had eclipsed the diminutive grease spots. I knew it was dry clean only, but I had no idea that this would happen! I was heartbroken. I flew my damaged dress back to MA and brought it to Five Star Cleaners. The two older ladies at the shop complimented me on the dress, and said that they'd try their best to eliminate the water stain, as well as the grease spots. Nothing could be guaranteed, of course, because water stains are notoriously difficult. Because of the holidays, Five Star was a little backed up, but I was in no rush. I just wanted my dress to be "fixed." Fast forward about a week later (I forgot to pick it up a few times), I dropped in again to retrieve it, about 5 minutes before closing time. I didn't have my receipt, but the gentleman was able to look up my information nevertheless. He hung my red dress up for my inspection and WOW! not a trace of grease or water stain to be seen! And here I was, imagining that I'd have to dye it purple, or buy another $140 dress to replace it. Obviously, I'm super excited that for less than $15 my damaged dress was returned to like-new condition. I highly recommend Five Star Cleaners for dry-cleaning services, but they also do hemming, repairs, and more. They are honest and straight forward, and do not hesitate to convey their prognosis of your problem. If they can fix it, they will try. If it will be expensive, they let you know up front. I'm so very grateful that they were able to rescue my dress!

I used this cleaning service on the recommendation of a relative. I had 2 comforters cleaned…read more(Queen and King). It was expensive at $40.00 each but I needed them done quickly. I picked both up about a week or so after due date. One was extremely wrinkled which I wasn't expecting at that price point nor from a professional service. Of course, the fabric and late pick up may have contributed but I've had the same comforter cleaned before at half the price without wrinkles. Not sure what happened this time around and will seek other options in the future.

"Wow I don't even know how to tell you how bad my very first experience was with this business…read more On Friday sept 6, 2013 I dropped off a pair of suit pants my husband needs to wear to a wedding, yes tomorrow, sept 14, 2013. I was told that his pants would be ready on Monday sept 9,2013 after 4pm, great I loved this. However upon getting there on Monday the 9th, my pants were not there, on Tuesday after 4 they were not there, on Wednesday they were not there. I asked the innocent clerk to have them back in the store with Thursdays delivery, to have them delivered to the store dirty or clean, whichever so I can get them cleaned by a different dry cleaners by sat for the wedding. Having said this, the innocent clerk said, "I feel the need to tell you the truth, the owner Mr x. is going thru a nasty divorce and his dry cleaning machine broke down and doesnt have the money to fix his machine, and he now has brought all the clothes to be dr cleaned to omega cleaners in east Longmeadow and has a contract with that owner, but doesnt have any money to pick up the cleaned clothes there either" i did however manage to get the owners cell phone number from The innocent clerk, I left him over a dozen messages within 24 hrs but to no avail would he respond with a phone call back to me, nor would he meet me at omega cleaners to give me my husbands pants. Omg I just cannot believe that this man does business like this, just way too much stress. I then called omega cleaners to beg for my pants and they stated their contract was with mr x. and they could not release the pants but on to him. I then drove the 10 miles to omega cleaners in east Longmeadow and begged for my pants, We did get them we paid $10 for cleaned pants from them, when they should have cost me $7 from caristo's cleaners in Ludlow, was glad the stress was over but will NEVER GO TO CARISTO'S again. If you are unlucky enough to not get your clothes you need from them this week, call omega cleaners in east Longmeadow Good luck One Unhappy customer hope this helps many people
