I extended a lease and need a new registration, they have the leasing company Power of Attorney on file and can print one out in seconds, I know because I worked at dealerships and we use to do it as a courtesy for our clients all the time. Services done: Timing Belt Service, Idler Pulley, Timing Belt Tensioner, complimentary overall vehicle inspection TLDR: Will definitely return. Great service, competitive pricing, awesome loaner car, and honest. No BS fees and no absurd up-selling. They also provide free overall inspection, car wash, interior vacuum, and loaner (if available). Ask for Chris, he's great!! I went in to have my Acura RDX's timing belt service done. They had a great special for $899.95 Plus Tax. They got the job done well and I had my car back on time. I also called ahead and requested a loaner, and it was provided free of charge. You need to call and confirm a loaner will be available, so be sure to do that. I was put in touch with Chris and he did a great job explaining and making sure the job was done right. They were also up-front about pricing for oil, transmission fluid, and differential fluid change. Based on a quick Google search, their prices are competitive with other shops, and you are sure to get the Acura-recommended fluids with them. I'll be back to get those fluid changes during the scheduled maintenance. The loaner MDX was good as well. Very clean and saved me an Uber ride! Honda/Acura timing belt engine tip: Personally, I would recommend getting the Idler and Tensioner replaced whenever the timing belt is done, since the labor cost can go all together. The service reps are ok. But don't follow up with you when they say they will, and I have to find myself calling to follow up. But the worst part of this location is the parts department, you will always be on hold for 20 minutes every time you call. I've been in the service area, called while being 5 feet from the parts guy and observed them ignoring the phone. It's like they are use to do that there. Very bad!!!! read more

My car had a slight accident and needed fixing right away, Steven Almonacio took the time to explain to me what needed to be done. He was kind, informative and pleasant to talk with. He even took me to the back and Vinny showed me how the car was damaged by the tire and what needed to be fixed. My experience was wonderful I felt cared for and my car was safe to drive again with confidence that they did and exceptional job on fixing all the damages. I have been to this Acura service station once for myself and have had a great experience. Poppy has been so great! Today i went back because my mom needed to get her car serviced. So I pointed out to my mom oh that lady there (Poppy) took care of me last time and my mom quickly said "oh yea she is so nice." And I totally agree! She is kind, patient and informative. If you have questions she's willing to respond and help as much as she could. The department that we could buy a battery from was closed. We asked her for some information on the cost on a battery and she made it possible for the department to open up for us. She's awesome! read more

Bought used car from Park Ave, and developed a rough engine idle within the warranty period. Took to park ave with the expectation that they would tell me to live with it, but they actually fixed it. Gave me an appointment within 48 hours of my calling, and finished the service within 3 hours of dropping it off. Service writer was very nice and they even asked if i wanted the car washed before I picked it up. Overall, 10/10 experience. read more

This is an enterprise that very efficiently and politely separates customers from their money. Last year my AC needed repairs. I had to pay for an expensive diagnostic test, just to be told the repair would cost about $2k. My mechanic did the repair for less than half of that. Another time, I needed a rim on my wheel replaced. Same story: My mechanic helped for less than half the price. Today I went to the dealership to have my $200 battery replaced. (It lost its charge 3 times in the past 3 months.) It is still under warranty. Lo and behold, they wanted me to pay for a $150 diagnostic test before they honored my warranty. Diagnostic tests should not be a profit center, especially in connection with a warranty. I made an appointment with my mechanic. I'm done with Park Avenue Acura. read more

When Acura in Manhattan closed and Honda in Manhattan stopped servicing Acuras closed we found ourselves in need of service elsewhere. We have an older Acura. Although our visits seem to be more frequent than I would expect, Carlos the Manager is great. He always replies to communication promptly and thoroughly with an attention to your questions and any detail desired. His reception staff is so nice. The agents are on top of things. And you can get loaner cars while yours is in service. I do really like Park Avenue Acura. An honest place for good service! read more

I really wish I can give them no stars Again the front staff are great individuals: however the new mechanics they have are lazy , careless , useless thieves - Make sure u check u car to see ur paying for what u asked for : That said This is an update to my previous issues with them : Firstly, I purchased a package that was offered a while back - make 1 payment and u receive 2 alignment a year for the life of the car is under ur name : Well before the last time which they failed to properly diagnosis and fix the issues in my car ACURA and stated I need new tires and rims and shocks - Well I got new tires and it fixed some of the vibration ( I had my calipers and brakes replaced - it was replaced somewhere else because ACURA didn't diagnosis my car properly ) After had a lot of the issues looked over by other mechanics , I took my car to have its tires replaced at a tire tire shop which stated I didn't need new rims and my shocks were fine. The mechanic stated the rims where not the issue but I should get an alignment. I took it back to ACURA for the alignment I received the car back and the dealer stated the alignment was done - but my car still vibrated after driving 65 mph -the dealer stated it must be my shocks - I took my car else where - The mechanic used a digital state of the art alignment - the mechanic stated my alignment wasn't done. the alignment was way off : i was even able to notice it - when the car was on the lift The mechanic showed me how my alignment pin was not properly tightened - and he was gonna have to align the car properly ! After the alignment and the rebalancing my car finally drivers better - So again the ACURA mechanics in the back are lazy careless and thieves - and the front staff can only go by what lie they are told - from the mechanics ( FYI ; if u read my last post : they left my motor mount loose and I heard a crack yet the dealer said I need new sway bar bushings / a lie ! they never tighten my screws so the engine was rubbing on metal - ! ) So check to make sure the parts and fluids if they are replaced properly . U shouldn't have to , but u will have to if u go here - Good luck read more

I have been going to Park Ave Acura on W Passaic St in Maywood for almost two years. I have only good things to say about them. Everyone is polite and professional, I felt I was valued as a customer over there. I also thought they were very reasonable with repairs and extra works, not trying to sell you services that you don't need. The wait time can be improved but everywhere else would have similar wait. Came here for a simple remote start installation after talking to three service advisors to confirm the details of installation and parts. Ordered the parts from another Acura dealer and decided to come here for the installation since we bought two other new Acura's from Park Ave. Not only did three of the service advisors provide me the wrong information about the parts (over $400 worth), it took 4 hours for a 1 hour job. I confronted them of their error in a kind and courteous manner (both Keith and the receptionist who were standing there, can attest to that) and asked to speak to the manager, Mike Vandenberghe, in private, so the other customers in the lobby didn't hear my complaint. I was talked down upon and scolded IMMEDIATELY entering his office. Mike Vandenberghe condescendingly said to me, "You bought the Acura from another dealership and you bring it to MY shop? And you're complaining over $128?!!" all without me saying one word -- I was appalled. I asked why it mattered where I bought the Acura since I am getting it serviced and it shouldn't matter since he represents the company. He told me "Of course it matters, I wouldn't have taken your car had I known you leased it at Montclair. You're wasting my time." I got flustered and asked him how he could speak condescendingly down to a customer, to which his response was, "You're making a big deal over the money? Fine, no charge, get your car and get off my lot!" This made me extremely upset and I said I feel uncomfortable and unsafe here and don't want to be here anymore and left his office. All the OTHER employees in the lobby were appalled. How about an apology, some respect to your customer, and training of your staff so it doesn't happen again? Both the receptionist and Keith, another service advisor, apologized profusely. Shout out to them because they actually acted professionally. I was in West Orange, NJ last weekend and all four wheels on my brand new MDX were stolen. Park Ave Acura was the only dealership that helped create a solution to my issue. Their parts manager, Ron, went over and above to help us find parts and get them onto my car. From the moment I called in the morning the entire staff was super helpful. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service! I went in for a replacement cam shaft, timing belt, front light / fog light and a side view mirror panel for my Acura TL. First, I dropped my car off to be serviced on a Monday, was told that my car would be ready Wednesday which turned into Friday, which then turned into Tuesday of the following week as I expressed that I had to drive over 1,000 miles for a work conference. I thoroughly explained to the technician the issues with my vehicle, my concerns and provided specific instructions. Upon pickup, the total service costs had been gouged despite being called by the technician beforehand and being told that they would replace the light and ignitor of the bulb. I declined the additional $500 for the bulb and ignitor for the bulb since they called me multiple times with the price steadily increasing. The technician told me via phone that they would replace the bulb as a courtesy since the price was already $3500 and they attempted to increase it to over $4,000. Once I arrived at the service center for pickup, I was being assisted by a representative and then the Assistant Manager Emma interjected. She was extremely RUDE, did not allow me to explain the issue with the price discrepancy beforehand. She consistently questioned me as if I was lying about the conversation with the technician, which was recorded. After agreeing to just pay the $3500, I noticed that the passenger rearview mirror panel was not replaced. I mentioned it to Emma who was again... RUDE. They essentially did nothing and continued to help other passengers and pretended as if my money was of lower value than other customers. It was a humiliating experience and I will be filing several complaints as a law student. I definitely will not be returning for any future repairs! I went for a diagnostic on my 2009 Acura MDX on 1/31/2018. At that time Tom let me know that the car had some issues that needed to be addressed (cat converter, timing belt, alignment, flush etc) and I should junk it but at no point did they mention an issue with suspension/axles/ any joints. On 2/15/2018 when backing out of a friends driveway my ball joint cracked causing my car to be disabled in the middle of a busy street in Clifton! (with my two small kids) When I called Park Ave that day I was told that they could not find my records and I was not in since January of 2017- I told the woman I would call back with the details as to what happened on the 31st of 2018. When I called back the woman transferred me over to Tom who simply told me that I would have to bring the car in to be looked at. That would be okay except for the fact that when I was looking over my documents given from Acura it never even addressed these issues! How in the world could I trust a mechanic/ garage to do their job when I had already paid for them to look over it and NOTHING WAS ADDRESSED! Tom actually tried saying it may be from when I left the shop- mind you it was 2 weeks between visiting the shop and the incident and I did not drive the car for almost 1 full week because I was waiting to start a new job! Either way there should have been some sort of documentation of it needing maintenance. I paid for this diagnostic from the manufacturer of the car and they still cannot be trusted. They just wanted the car to be traded in for a new one. Nice try but we will NEVER be back! My fiance has an older BMW and he did the same diagnostic with his car and they were WAY more thorough than this. My car has been seen by this at least once a year for the past few years and now they want no responsibility. THANK GOD FOR AN EXTENDED WARRANTY! read more

Justin Felix is very informative and easy-going. His persona and knowledge of Acura vehicles and vehicles in general is reassuring. Additionally, he gave me the best price I could ask for! I walked in and was helped right away. I was treated with the same great treatment every visit. I have already recommended this dealership to several friends and family. This dealership is not like those larger car dealerships where salesman are pushy and you feel like just another sale. At Park Acura, service is highly specialized and personable. First time being there and such a horrible experience. I walked in and Emma at the front desk was so rude and had such a bad attitude and undermines all customers. When I originally called to make an appointment, I had specified I need a loaner because I also have a job like she does and I needed to get to work. It turned into a huge ordeal because they couldn't do their job right and simply put it in the system. Even then, such attitude was not needed from her. She asked me to wait an hour and when I told her I couldn't, Tom (service consultant I believe his name was) ran out to check my car, and fixed the issue within 10 minutes. He told me I shouldn't be having the issue and was shocked when I asked for a service record. Even that turned into an ordeal with him and he was not happy when I asked for it. My boyfriend and I stopped by to drop off his car for an inspection. Service was great. The waiting room was also great -- they had snacks, coffee/tea, TV, kids' room, Wifi, and a computer room. I have been coming to this Acura dealership for about 3 years now and I am NEVER disappointed! The front staff is great and always welcoming when I arrive for regular service or a problem. One service representative in particular, Poppy Carver, is always EXCELLENT! She greets me with a smile and is very knowledgeable about cars, which allows her to help me figure out what noises I may be hearing or things I may be feeling while I drive my vehicle. Poppy goes above and beyond her duties and makes follow-up phone calls, keeps me informed about the status of my repairs and gives me options on items that I may not have known were wrong with my car. She also lets me know if things may need to be replaced down the road, so that I can plan ahead and get those things done slowly when I can before I have to and end up paying more money at once because I'm not left with wiggle room to be flexible with paying for repairs. I never feel like I'm over paying for my service, parts, or getting work done I don't need done. The service department is very quick and I always feel that I'm getting great work done at the Park Ave Acura in Maywood. I would highly recommend this dealership for all of your Honda and Acura repairs and maintenance. read more

If you have to wait there, the facility has a very comfortable environment, wifi kids corner,coffee water tea, etc. Also a short walk into nice small town shopping area up the street. Since I live close and always get a loaner here I have been bringing it to Acura for 4 years now. Staff is very helpful to your problems no complaints there. It's over priced and the techs/car wash workers is why this gets a 2.5. When it's all said and done, especially since I'm getting a loaner for all the work I do to my Acura, it's all about the work on the car. Every time I go there's a problem, they didn't vacuum my car twice, once not washing at all. They haven't checked the air in my tires twice!!! C'mon man. Also had 2 grand worth of work done and I get my car back with a clicking noise, immediately told manager and he came back in 5 min with it fixed. He said it was a spark plug, WHY WASN'T THAT SIMPLE LOUD CLICKING NOISE DIAGNOSED RIGHT AWAY. Seems to me they are super rushed there and skip many details. Customer service and facilities get 4.5 Techs/ car wash workers get a 1 not doing the job right the first time. They are rushed. read more

My advice, don't believe anything Bruce, the assistant service manager tells you. He'll say anything to get you in and out quickly as possible. The guy is lazy and doesn't really care about his customers. The inspection report I got stated that I needed immediate attention for my belts and rear differential. He didn't even bother explaining to me any of these issues. Upon further review of the report I asked him about all the red marks on the chart which indicated these were areas that needed immediate attention. He went in the garage and acted like he was checking with the tech about these issues. When he came back told me the technician working on my car made a mistake on the report and that everything was fine. He said my belt was new and that nothing was wrong. I don't remember having replaced the belt recently so how could it be new? I could tell he was full of bs and didn't even bother to double check. I understand it was late and he prob wanted to go home but don't neglect your duties at the expense of me and my family's safety. read more

Most horrible people, how can anyone s instint allow one to do such thing, they charge you for things they don't do and without asking you, and charges are sky rockets. I would give them 6 stars is possible. First off I am not an easy person to impress. I have been going to this location since buying my 2013 RDX. About the RDX great vehicle but the reason that I will always buy a Acura is the service. It has taken me three years to write this review because it takes a lot more then one time service to impress me. My service person is Tommy Schou, each and every time I go he is the one taking care of any problems or maintenance issues. We have become friends over the past three years. There is never a problem, tommy always finds a way to get it done. The service department manager is Mike Vandenburg. Each and every time I have been in for service I see mike. This guy is every where. He always stops and says hello and makes sure every thing is being taking care of. Mike is the real working manager.
