Avoid this place like the PLAGUE. Sure, they have some 4-5 star reviews. But you'll see the couple of 1-star reviews sprinkled on there. DON'T BE A STATISTIC. AVOID IT. I took my car in for a routine oil change. I have a 2015 VW Jetta, with about 90K miles on it. I've never really had a problem with the car. Well, guess how many mechanics it takes to JAM the Key, NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO, AND TAKE APART THE ENTIRE DASHBOARD + STEERING WHEEL? For reference, I'm not a mechanic. I've just been driving for like 20+ years now. When a key is slow to turn, you just wiggle it and it turns fine. Right? Well, they TOOK OFF THE DASHBOARD, and gave me a fucking HAMMER and told me to slam the KEYBOX with it, until the Key fell out.... I knew something was fishy when I dropped off my car at 12:00PM, and they didn't call until after 3PM. I called them, but they refused to pick up. AND THIS WAS AFTER THEY SAID IT'll SAY AN HOUR. Then they kept asking me if I'd encountered a problem like this ever before. No. Never. With this car, I've never even had a key jammed and had to wiggle it out. I knew what they were doing. An honest mechanic place would say 'Hey, Oil change is on us. And we'll fix this too, since it was our mistake.' Not a single sorry. Not a single apology. Kept trying to pin the blame on me, again and again. Over and over, I had to argue with them but they kept saying it wasn't their fault. I guess it's my fault for stepping in shit basically. Bad luck. Again, don't be the statistic. 1. They should have called me the MOMENT they encountered a problem (Which I never encountered before). 2. They should have called me BEFORE they took the dashboard APART. 3. They should have taken RESPONSIBILITY like an HONEST business and offered to FIX IT; if not for free, then atleast at a discount. 4. Again, no apology. Not a single one. NAda. Avoid this place like the plague. They're unprofessional, 0 idea what they're doing, with unexperienced mechanics, and 0 integrity. Shame on them. read more

Took my car in for a routine oil change and now I'm going to be out hundreds of dollars to replace the ignition lock cylinder and reprogram my keys. I made an appointment for an oil change at 10:30am but the shop called and asked to push it to 12:00pm so I said that was fine and dropped it off at noon. I was told that it would take 45 min to an hour and that I'd receive text updates. It was almost 2:00pm and I hadn't heard anything so I started calling but no one picked up. Someone finally called back and said they needed more time. Shortly after I started receiving texts that the key was stuck in the ignition and that there were all these issues that I had never experienced with my car before. I went in to the shop to see and they had taken apartment steering column and showed me that the key was stuck and wouldn't come out unless they tapped the ignition cylinder with a heavy object. They kept asking me if I'd experienced that before and I said that I hadn't but they were saying it's very common. Is it really that common to go from zero issues to not being able to get the key out of the ignition without taking apart the steering column? I called another shop and the dealership to get rough quotes for repairs and some places don't even do this repair for my car make and for the places that do, it looks like it'll cost hundreds to get this fixed. I was supposed to come in at 10:30am and pick up the car by noon with a fresh oil change. Instead, it's after 4pm and I'm going to have to pay hundreds of dollars to fix an issue that an auto shop somehow created. At best, it's bad management and shoddy work and at worst, it's a skeevy grift. read more

Brought my 2006 toyota rav here a while back. I never ended up going to them. when I got there I waited for 30 minutes and no one acknowledge me. I finally said something and the guy i think nick was his name at the front desk kept picking up the phone and putting me on hold. yes I am physically there and have been Waiting yet he answered the phone like 5 times and uses his finger to tell me to hold in the middle of our conversation. very rude and inconsiderate. I left and brought my business elsewhere. I ended needing a nee engine and breaks. Anyways horrible! Never will go here or recommend this place. read more

I brought my old SUV in on this past Veterans Day to have a couple O2 Sensors replaced. While the mechanical was finishing the repair, he had mistakingly caused another part to break. They ordered the part on Tuesday, arrived Wednesday and was repaired free of charge. Since my suv was not available for use on Veterans Day, Hector, the owner, showed his honor to me as a 10 yr Navy Veteran, volunteered to drive me on some errands to enjoy my holiday. Aamco went above and beyond their duty resolve the problem their mechanic had caused. After all is said and done, this Aamco does fantastic work, promptly. Job well done guys!! read more

Finding a place that can safely repair your car has new meanings in the time of Covid. Not only did they fix my tire problem in under 20 minutes, but they were so conscientious about keeping the surfaces of my car germ free that, as a former medic, I was thoroughly impressed. Ada was especially courteous, professional and kind. She stopped me from getting into my car and wiped down every surface that could have been in contact with the tech. Took off all the plastic and paper guards they used during the repair. She greeted everyone with a smile and made it feel like a pleasure to be there. Having a 1 year old daughter, I feel extra nervous about having a working vehicle, especially in the winter. Because of Ada, I won't be going anywhere else from now on but here. read more

This was my first time at this AAMCO location. I had initially scheduled an appointment online the night before. The following morning I received a call from the manager Robert about my appointment. I brought my vehicle in that afternoon. Because I am not from the area (I work in the area), it would have been difficult for me to just drop my car off. Heida (at the front desk), was very understanding of my situation and went above and beyond to get my car serviced. They were forthcoming and honest with what they felt the issue was and I was able to repair my car that day. This particular location it's fairly new, with plenty of seating. There was bottled water for the customers, a flat screen TV, and air conditioning, They also have a pick up service for customers and are able to assist customers with receiving rental cars. Heida and staff was very personable and really wanted to get to know and help me. She even asked that I call back within a week to inform her if the issue has been resolved. I will definitely get my car serviced at this location again Update: I still ended up with the same car issue. read more

After Quality Auto Mall screwed my car up by not putting a transmission filter back on and I ended up losing pressure and 4th gear. It was only bringing my car here where they could diagnose the problem. Give me a flush and thus saving me $1000-2500 in repair bills. I went there hoping just to put a band aid on the situation, but they saved me and after $150. My car has driven 5,000 more miles without a single problem. read more

my 2007 dodge dakota broke down and we took it to our local firestone he fixed it and then told us it needed a transmission. we looked up aamco and saw good ratings so had it towed there. we were told by haidi that it needed all this work tie rods, fluids, oil change all totaling around 3500.00 so we said ok she then said they would take it back to firestone to have the wheel alignment when they attempted to take it there at that point she called and said we need a transmission would be another 4400.00. we said that was the original problem we brought it in for and should have been the first thing you looked at. we said ok and then that night we decided no as the car was 16 years old. she then told us it was already shipped a {after 1 day !} and she charged a stocking fee 150.00. i feel this place should have looked at the transmission first and maybe did not have to do the other work which was unecessary. heidi was very nice but we are senior citizens on a fixed income and cannot afford 6,000.00 . i would never recommend this place to anyone and feel we should be reimbursed something for the hassle we had to go through of having only one car and still having only one car for their not getting what should have been done in a timely fashion read more

Everyone was very professional, and work was done fast. Drove my car out shortly after in better condition than before. Of course I was told that I have to change my oil regularly because it was in bad condition. I will need to follow up on that advice. This has got to be the worst auto repair place I've ever visited! I went in for a regular maintenance check for my car and was told I had a transmission leak. I'm shown under my car where it is, and then he tells me he'll have to get the part. So 2-1/2 hours later, I'm told that he can't get the part today, and could I come back tomorrow. Well I guess if I have to I have to. Tells me the seal plus labor will be $508. I go home thinking, gee, seems awfully high a price considering he's not removing the trans to make the repair. I do some research, then call him back to complain about the high cost. When he calls back, he tells me he'll reduce the price to $489. Then after doing some more research, I call him again, and ask if he is going to have to remove the trans, and he says no. Again I complain about the cost, and finally he gets down to $398.14. No kidding, plus .14, too! I guess so it's seems more authentic, but it seems like he's pulling these figures out of his ass. In the meanwhile, I'm told by a legitimate transmission specialist to ask if the leak is by the axle or lever, and when I call back again, he tells me he doesn't know what the lever is. That plus the legitimate trans specialist's warning, "I wouldn't have him do it if I were you", led me to call back once again to cancel my job. Bottom line, I had it done elsewhere for less than half what he would've charged me. All I can tell you is, beware! read more
