Where to begin…read more. Both outstanding skill and value to be found in this shop. I have a background in engineering and I'm extremely mechanically inclined. I do all of the service on the two (one old and one new) BMWs in my household and I know what is involved in just about any maintenance job down to the more diffcult jobs like valve stem seals and the transmission. I had planned on doing my valve cover gaskets, upper timing chain gaskets, and alternator mounting bracket on my 2006 BMW 650i (140k miles) in the spring when warm weather returned, but my car had other plans. It developed a catastrophic leak in perfect timing with the outdoor temperature drop. Rather than spending 10+ hours in my driveway working on the car with freezing fingers in the winter I went out shopping for a mechanic I could trust with my car. I must have called 10 shops in the Bergen County area! Justin (the mechanic) took the time to answer my detailed questions regarding the specifics of the job (no way I would trust this job to somebody who hasn't done it at least 20 times before) as the work is both time-consuming and risky considering the car is a high mileage vehicle and the plastic becomes very brittle with age. Many shops won't even touch this job. To make a long story short, in the end their prices were the best around, and the job came out great. Trust me, finding places like this is not easy, I absolutely HATE trusting other mechanics to work on my engines and in addition to knowing all of the right answers, I got that gut feeling that Justin knew exactly what he was doing and did not cut any corners. Five stars. Don't let the small-shop look fool you, there is REAL skill to be found here!

I took my car in for a routine oil change. I have a 2015 VW Jetta, with about 90K miles on it. I've never really had a problem with the car. Well, guess how many mechanics it takes to JAM the Key, NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO, AND TAKE APART THE ENTIRE DASHBOARD + STEERING WHEEL? For reference, I'm not a mechanic. I've just been driving for like 20+ years now. When a key is slow to turn, you just wiggle it and it turns fine. Right? Well, they TOOK OFF THE DASHBOARD, and gave me a fucking HAMMER and told me to slam the KEYBOX with it, until the Key fell out.... I knew something was fishy when I dropped off my car at 12:00PM, and they didn't call until after 3PM. I called them, but they refused to pick up. AND THIS WAS AFTER THEY SAID IT'll SAY AN HOUR. Then they kept asking me if I'd encountered a problem like this ever before. No. Never. With this car, I've never even had a key jammed and had to wiggle it out. I knew what they were doing. An honest mechanic place would say 'Hey, Oil change is on us. And we'll fix this too, since it was our mistake.' Not a single sorry. Not a single apology. Kept trying to pin the blame on me, again and again. Over and over, I had to argue with them but they kept saying it wasn't their fault. I guess it's my fault for stepping in shit basically. Bad luck. Again, don't be the statistic. 1. They should have called me the MOMENT they encountered a problem (Which I never encountered before). 2. They should have called me BEFORE they took the dashboard APART. 3. They should have taken RESPONSIBILITY like an HONEST business and offered to FIX IT; if not for free, then atleast at a discount. 4. Again, no apology. Not a single one. NAda. Avoid this place like the plague. They're unprofessional, 0 idea what they're doing, with unexperienced mechanics, and 0 integrity. Shame on them.

The fans has a strange sound and the front hood not closing properly. Later I was robbed by this shop owner. He looked at my car first and told me that the car needed to replace the fan motor and a cooling fan. He gave me a very high quote, which surprised me. So I hoped that he could also fix the problem of the front hood which is not closing properly . He said he wouldn't do it. So I said the price was too high and I couldn't fix the car here. So he started to be tough and forced me to pay a $50 consultation fee. I was forced to pay this money. I am a single mother and this is my only car. It is a very old 2011 car and it is not worth $1,000. And I just had a car accident few months ago.And a friend of mine helped me repair the front part of the car. And this shop's owner named GARY actually asked me for nearly $800 to repair the car, which of course I can't afford. Yesterday, this man named GARY he robbed me. He took away my $50 which I worked so hard everyday earned to feed my child. My car's problems are still there. I will never forget that he forced me to hand over my credit card, and he even forbid me to touch my car before I pay him .I will never forget the ugly face of this man named GARY. Don't go to this store, especially you are a women!
