When we checked in using our IHG card, the staff was very excited, because at the end of this month they are becoming an IHG hotel. They said they were glad they had been able to offer us an upgrade to solve our handicap access problem before they knew, and wished they could also give us points. They will be excellent representatives of this hotel group.
Lovely twin "fainting lounges" in our room, and such a comfortable pillow that I will miss it dearly when I leave. They were extremely anxious to accommodate our scooter, and brought out a large ramp to be used at the restaurant.
Wifi adequate, but one phone will not hook up, so we are limited to our pads, but that is a small problem. I don't have the engineering degree necessary to operate the eight nozzle shower, but managed to get clean anyway. They also provided a tub seat and shower chair for our needs. Quiet area of the city, and the windows are functional, so we can get fresh, though humid, air. If you want to shop, you will need to take a taxi, but it will only cost 5-6 €. And our taxi driver even lifted and stored out scooter for the trip. read more
