The room was clean, bed and sofa comfortable, AND it included a lovely buffet breakfast every morning! The location is quite central to shopping and restaurants as well as a lovely park across the street. We walked into the park with a friend who took us to the casual dining spot for an evening beverage. Not far away is a great shopping building with a market downstairs and department store in the main level. Service is excellent here!

The restaurant was a good choice but the bar was a hit and miss. Either dead and boring or taken over by Karaoke or a huge loud tour group. The big problem we had was the bathtub and housekeeping. There was a big learning curve on using the the shower and spout hardware which was funny at first but became a hassle. But I almost killed myself on our last morning in the shower before going to the bus to Porto! The maid kept moving my shave case all the way to the other side of the gd vanity away from the shower!! So that morning I forgot my shaver and had to get out wet to go retrieve it. The non slip mat in the shower slipped and I fell catching my leg over the tub, hitting my head on the tub while falling on my back and twisting my neck. I ended up with a bruised inner leg that is not healing and lucky to not have had a head injury. Mgmt felt bad when I told them about it and to have housekeeping quit moving people's stuff around but essentially nothing came of my complaint! Nothing. I think the mgr was just glad I didn't sue them. I've been in pain since so I should! Also on Monday morning a huge conference and one small one literally took over the hotel from Sunday night through the week! Couldn't enjoy the bar or breakfast buffet at all. Hectic and LOUD! Dont stay here if you are there during the week and don't trust their Tub mats!! Restaurant was nice though and great Mgr that I got to know a bit. But we won't be staying there again for sure!

After a tumultuous travel to even get to Lisbon, arriving at Corinthia felt like a breath of fresh air. Our flight was delayed by a whole day and they were able to adjust our reservation to start one day over at no extra charge which was really appreciated! With our CC, we were able to get a room upgrade with a corner suite. The room was fantastic, modern, clean and the bathroom had a shower and tub. They have a turndown service to prep your bed at night and leave some lavender on top too! Small trinkets in the room like water, egg tarts, and more was available. The location is not the best from the main tourist area, and there isn't a ton to see in the area, but they do have a free shuttle that takes you downtown that we were able to use. There are 3 restaurants in the hotel too! We were able to dine at one but around the holidays, the other restaurant we wanted to try was closed both nights for private events. Their room service was actually quite good (and fast!) too! The hotel breakfast has a nice spread as well! It was included in our stay so I felt that it was worth! Overall, we had a pleasant stay here and I would recommend to others!

A grocery store is at the corner where we got meats, cheeses and a baguette to eat in the room after an exhausting day. If you're walkers like we are you can walk the 3.7 miles to old Lisbon. It's down hill. Took a good hour. The hotel room was not overly large, but we had enough room. A nice size table with two chairs was useful. The Nespresso coffee machine was my favorite. The refrigerator bar was fully stocked. Little packages of toiletries were available. Housekeepers came by every evening to check if we needed anything. We said, Chocolates! The breakfast buffet in the main restaurant had everything. The lobby people were kind and helpful. Umbrellas are available to borrow on rainy days. Recommend.

We had issues with our AC, and the front desk agent came to help us even though the engineers were gone for the evening. You managed the room through the TV, and our TV was not turning on. Like others said, the toilet situation is a bit odd; you can hear and see others use it. There is a curtain, but it doesn't stop you from hearing it. My favorite part was the gym and sauna. There was a beautiful view looking out into Lisboa, and I fell in love with this view at the sauna! and the gym equipment was clean and up to date! The bartenders downstairs are also lovely and upfront and go above and beyond to make you a good cocktail or ensure you have the perfect glass of wine. The Metro station in front make is convenient, and a few good coffee shops are around. It will take you 20 min to get into old Lisboa or the waterfront.

Yes, the sauna and hamman, along with gym and pool, are on the top floor of the hotel and open 24 hours. It's pretty nice to end your day with a relaxing sauna gazing out at a night time cityscape. Then head down to the bar for more fun. Or like me, grab some snack and select a drink from their wide selection (many local beers, as well as imported ones, for 2-5€) and retire to the comfy bed. It's also very cool that you open the door, the room slowly comes to life welcoming your return. Electronic blinds, phone charging pad, cool gadgets to please your inner geeks. Room is rather spacious. The bar and first floor lobby is really happening too, day or night. Sleek and comfortable chairs to sit in, plenty of computers, there's even a corner with a large table for meetings. Location is also excellent, with metro and bus station almost right in front of the hotel. The Saldanha metro stop is on both yellow and red lines, which is awesome as it means fewer transfers, and the red line services the airport (though it cost us only 6€ by Uber). Continente supermarket is in the street behind the hotel. Plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. As other says, the toilet and shower are in round pods, which can feel claustrophobic or awkward to some. There is a curtain to section off that part of the room though, and if that's not enough privacy, you two probably should book separate rooms. Definitely will consider staying here again.

The staff was friendly, accommodating, and really knew how to be hospitable. The room was fantastic! It had a full kitchen, washing machine, an actual king bed (rare in Europe), massive pillows, and everything you could need if you were traveling with a kid. The hotel restaurant is small, so you can have breakfast delivered to your room. You kind of need to go to breakfast your first morning to see what options to have and then you can order online for any future mornings. The croissants were always delivered warm and it a little pouch to keep them that way. They smelled heavenly. They also have some of the best pasteis de nata and in the early morning they're warm! The location was great! You did have to walk up a bit of a hill, but it's Lisbon. My only tip would be to stay at this hotel at the end of your trip or only stay here because they will spoil you.

In the lobby, there's also a Kids Club that offers daycare at all times of the day; the staff there were really good at making the kids comfortable. We were assigned room 002, which was the size of a small apartment, with a bedroom that had a king size bed and bunk beds situated in the family room. I know bunk beds can be nerve wracking with little kids, but the hotel had bumpers installed for safe sleeping. Location wise, you're in the heart of the city with lots of restaurants and shops within close walking distance. It'd be hard not to recommend this hotel, unless you are traveling with no kids or on a business trip.

I absolutely adored this hotel and everything about it…read more I arrived to a perfectly outfitted room with updated furnishings. Everything fresh as a flower. Smartly decorated with the school vibe. So cool. The soaking tub was an extra perk, as well as the rain shower and comfy chairs. The bed was crisp and so comfortable. Staff: everyone was an ABSOLUTE delight from start to finish. Breakfast: gorgeous. Grounds: beautiful. Absolutely zero complaints, I loved it. You should stay here, what are you waiting for!? TRAVELING WITH CHILDREN? here you go... Kid-friendly: When I arrived the room had been outfitted with a travel cot, linens AND a small child-bathtub. Huge props on the bath tub...bathing a 6 month old in a regular tub is like trying to wrangle an octopus. Major bonus. Our room also had a small mini-bar fridge which had enough room to store bottles, baby food, etc. Pro-tip for parents: bring your baby slings! The area around this hotel is VERY hilly and thus very difficult to navigate with a pram. Your baby carrier will serve you well. Also, there is an elevator that will take you from ground level to reception...even though it is a just a few steps, it is useful to know that it can be accessed just a bit to the left. It will then take you to any floor you need for your stay as well. There is also a nice green area on the side of the hotel which is nice for a picnic or to let children run off some energy. It is not accessible without stairs so the best option is to take the lift all the way to -2 (where the cafe/restaurant is) and then go outside. There will still be just a few stairs but MANY less than if you try to go from the ground level of the hotel. It's built into the side of a hill. In this green area there is a nice pond and fountain, so do be careful if you've got mobile children unafraid of water!
