Been here a few times and it's always so good. I have never eaten inside/on the patio, it's always to-go. I do believe these are the best macarons in town. They are pricey but worth it if you want to treat yourself. Their croissant turkey sandwich is delicious as well. Love this little hidden gem!

I have been coming here for years, but apparently I have neglected to ever write a review, and this bakery definitely deserve one. There are several French bakeries in Fresno, but this one is my favorite. The owner is actually from France and makes his treats in a back room with a window so you can watch them being made. There is a small amount of seating inside and a cute outside patio in front for nice weather. They serve breakfast, sandwiches, crepes, and of course all their bakery items, including macarons, Napoleons, beignets, morning buns, chocolate croissants, plain croissants, etc. My favorite is the morning bun with croissant goodness but shaped as a bun with cinnamon and sugar . Everything is reasonably priced, and they even have a special where you can pick 5 treats for $11.99. They also do cakes or custom orders of pies, etc. You order at the counter, and then take a seat anywhere. If you haven't checked them out yet, here's your sign.

A new find for me, but it's been here for 10-years now?! Located right in the middle of the Old Town Clovis is the Parisien Bakery that offers indoor and outdoor seating, a full breakfast menu, and tons of delectable pastries that are all baked in-house. To start, I went with the iced coffee with a shot of espresso. Good flavor, but this is just a standard coffee. To eat we ordered two breakfast sandwiches and some pastries for the road. My breakfast croissant was very good and filled with egg, layered ham, tomato and cheese. This comes with a side salad, which is a normal side for a Parisian breakfast. The croissant was buttery and perfectly made with flakey soft layers. My wife ordered the Croque Monsieur and she definitely won breakfast! They make it the classic way: ham and cheese sandwich on a brioche bun with bechamel sauce; that's topped with more cheese before being baked until golden brown. I got a few bites and was instantly jealous of her order. Crispy, chewy, a savory breakfast lovers delight. I love that they sell boxed day-old pastries for $5.99. They still tasted amazing for being a day-olds!

I stopped in to have a latte. I always enjoy the delicious bakery items made there. The crepes are my favorite, and the macarons are so delicious. Each time I go I get great service and love sitting out in the patio

This is such a cute bakery and cafe, they have breakfast and lunch meals/combos, pastries filled with chocolate, custard or plain. They have crepes, fruit tarts, cupcakes and more. My favorite is always coffee, hot or iced and if you don't love coffee try a smoothie!!! The staff has always been friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Dine inside or on the patio, it's got a nice covering to shield from the sun and it reminds me of the outside patios in Paris. You can also buy an Eiffel Tower trinket before checkout.

I've been here before but don't come often due to prices of baked goods (which are delicious though) so today I came only for my Chai Tea! $6.50 after tax for a large which is GOOD pricing compared to these $7.50+ chais I'm seeing around town! So I'll be adding this to my list! The flavor is great, it's semi sweet but perfect for myself, foamy on top and you can taste the chai flavor without it being too gritty or anything! Crowded area but really cute nonetheless! Employees are helpful and sweet!

    Need to try these next

Love this place! It enchants you when you first see it from the sidewalk. I actually first walked in hoping to buy a coffee and use their bathroom (after a long Clovis trail walk) ((they don't have a bathroom)) but I completely forgot that when walking in because the sights and smells are so delightful and eye catching. The pastry cases and cake case are filled with goodies. I've tried their mini pies and creme puffs, very yummy. I purchased macarons and pies for friends. I have dined in for lunch also , they have delicious savory food as well. I had a great croque madam sandwich. Can't wait to go back! Order at the counter to dine in or to go. They have outdoor seating that is popular.

OMG this was great!!! My wife and were watching Survivor as the winning team is eating croissants in the sanctuary and she says "Boy those look good." This morning I was on a mission to get her some and man did I pick the right place. I walked in and see a man creating pastries, then went to the counter. Believe it not, these taste even better than they look! The almond one was just incredible. This may be a regular stop going forward.

    Eclair

Disappointing. Especially for the price. The custard eclair was filled with a different custard than they used to use. This one is overly sweet and has the texture, flavor and gloss of the packaged kind like you'd get a donut store or save mart. The cherry turnover was doughy and not filled much. The clerks were friendly and efficient. The treats were just not good.

We finally made it in one morning. We loved the vibe and the food, and will definitely want to come back on a regular basis.

Parisien Bakery providers plenty of options like breakfast, drinks, and pastries making it a nice spot to for a quick bite or leisurely morning! Service was really fast and with spacious seating on the outside, perfect for a grab and go or a place to relax at. Even though there were plenty of selections, the quality of the pastries (like the croissants) lack the buttery flavor and felt stale. Cinnamon twist was done nicely with its fluffy interior.

Came here for some croissants. They have a special of 5 pastries for $11.99 which is a good deal considering some other places charge $5 or more per pastry. The plain croissant was good. The ambiance was French cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was nice. Street parking.

Loved the mini fruit tarte (wasn't soggy like a lot of places due to the cream) and bf liked the chocolate croissant! Very soft and buttery

My dad made these for me as a kid and anytime I see them in the wild, I have to try it. The bierocks made were just ok. The pastry is great, but the filling was a little bland and way too heavy on the cabbage. But what the bierocks lacked, the donuts made up for by a million! We ordered a cruller, maple, glazed, old-fashioned, a glazed twist, and a chocolate cake doughnut. Just based off our order, you can tell there were no children with us, lol. The cruller donut was perfection. Airy and super soft with it almost melting in your mouth before the first bite. The old-fashioned donut (which are my favorite) was incredible! It was surprisingly light, for a cake doughnut, and had a thick layer of maple glaze. I think the layer was about an eighth of an inch, which for icing is bonkers. Even Peter North himself would be humbled by this glazing technique. Is this the most unassuming donut shop in all of the land? Maybe not the land, but at least in Clovis. Live in the area and love donuts? Get here now!

Looks like a traditional Chinese bakery with their decor and set up and heard the front counter lady say their food is more based on the south side of China. Their steam pork buns will always be a favorite. I was lucky enough to walk in when they brought out a fresh new batch so it was still nice and warm when I got home. Dough is sweet and fluffy with their bbq pork filling. For 3.00 a bun, it was quite smaller than I remember. The ratio of the dough and filling was also not as portioned. Some bites you just get the dough. First time having their steam chicken buns and was surprised to see that it was sliced chicken with veggies and a slice boiled egg. This was not it for me. It was like eating a stir fry in a bun. Though this bun was bigger and more portioned than the steam pork buns. This was also my first time trying their Shumai dumplings. The flavor was there. A nice umami flavor. But I was missing the bouncy texture of the meat. And for 4 for 7.00 they were pretty small (compared to the dim sum places). Looking forward to trying other others on their menu now that the menu and signs are easier to see/read.

The restaurant was extremely busy, so I do recommend making reservations ahead of time. The service could have been a little better, but considering how packed it was, it felt more overwhelmed than rude. One thing to know ahead of time: Diet Cokes come in cans, not fountain drinks, so there are no refills. The biggest disappointment for us was the limited menu selection that day. There were mostly sandwiches and not a lot of variety. I ordered the quiche, which ended up needing extra sauces on the side because it felt a little plain on its own. My husband ordered the French toast, and that was actually very good. Ambiance was alright - a little cramped but the live music gave it a touch of class. Overall, I'd still recommend trying this place, just maybe not on a major holiday when the menu is limited and the restaurant is packed. I'd be willing to give it another shot on a normal weekend because I have a feeling the regular menu probably offers a much better experience.
