The gyro was absolutely packed with meat, to the brim. And it was perfectly seasoned, perfectly thin, perfectly cooked. Great white sauce as well. Pita itself was fairly solid. Fresh vegetables. The falafel was also really good. They are these mini falafel bites that I really enjoyed. Very crunchy and also went well with the side white sauce it was served with. Finally, the baklava. Wow. This was some excellent baklava. One of the best I've had in a while. I loved that it wasn't too dry like at most places. Just really, really good all around.

Am looking forward to being back! My server was Tolia (sorry if I'm misspelling/misremembering) and she did an AMAZING job. She was super friendly, made awesome menu recommendations and was a delight to chat to. She recommended I start with the char grilled octopus and this was delicious. It came with capers and a grilled lemon and olive oil and was beautifully presented. The potion was easily finished by just me, so if you have more than 2 people I'd recommend getting more than 1 order of these. It's so delicious. I was then picking between the pastitsio and the moussaka. I was told they both have a strong nutmeg flavor which was not a problem for me. I decided on the moussaka and it was so delicious. It did have a strong nutmeg flavor but not in an overwhelming way. It came with a bechamel sauce on top and layers of eggplant with ground beef tomato and potato. It sort of reminded me of a shepherds pie if you're not as familiar with Greek food. The portion was HUGE - could easily split between 2. I ate almost half of it but couldn't eat the rest although I wish I could've. It was so good. The cocktail I ordered was a nectar spritz (something with "nectar" in the title at least) and genuinely was one of the best cocktails I've had. Definitely beat every other one I had in Pittsburgh this week by FAR. So yummy. I was so impressed with every aspect of my dining experience and would definitely be back!

I am from Detroit where Mediterranean food means accessible, quick shwarma and hummus- easy peasy. I walked in and asked for 2 chicken shwarmas to go. The hostess looked at me like I had two heads. I asked for a menu, looked at it and then asked "This is a Mediterranean place, right?" After explaining what I wanted she recommended the meatball sandwich. Meatball sandwich? As my husband approached I explained the options and he asked "This is a Mediterranean place, right?" After debating to leave or not, we agree to wait 15-20 minutes for a chicken pita handheld, described in the pic. We receive our order and it's two flatbreads (see pic). We inquire and the hostess emphatically says we ordered the flatbread. (My husband detests olives so I can assure you he didn't order the olive laden flatbread prepared for us. ). She full on argued with us. We don't eat white bread and cheese for any meal so we 100% did not order this. I can't say the flatbread with no chicken at all but loaded with olives tasted bad (well, my husband would) but the sheer lack of accountability for full on screwing up our order is unacceptable. One more question, in Pennsylvania is "Gyro"pronounced (GI-Roh)? So, maybe in Pennsylvania meatballs sandwiches, crab cakes and sausage sandwiches are Mediterranean, if perhaps that is not what you are looking for, keep looking.

We were confused as to where the actual restaurant was. There is a sign on Route 8, so we parked there, looked around, walked downstairs, only to find it was offices. We then walked upstairs and found that the entrance was actually on the other side of the building but accessible from the front. It's an interesting place when you walk in. We were quickly greeted and seated. It seemed as though the owner and family were working. The menu was interesting, not real large but sufficient. We had, who I believe is the owner, come to our table and ask what we typically like to eat and then she was making suggestions. We thought she was just being helpful. My wife finally looked at her and said, I'm sorry are you also taking flour order now? She replied well that's what I was trying to do. To me that was a little off putting. We all took her suggestions and ordered. The food came out fresh and warm. It was good. We all tried each others meals. We felt that what my wife ordered was the best. The place isn't huge inside but it was fairly busy. It was a little pricey but not bad.

!! Dashers Beware !!…read more I've been working DoorDash and picking up from this location is the worst. The people who work there are nice, but couldn't care less about your order. They DO NOT prioritize DoorDash orders. When you arrive, regardless of the time of day, you will likely be told they are still working on your order. I have, on multiple occasions, went in to pickup an order while there were ZERO customers in the place and they still don't have the order ready or even close to being ready. A typical wait time for this location is 15+ minutes. In that amount of time, you could get other offers and not be waisting 20 minutes of downtime on one order from Aladdin's. I don't accept any DoorDash orders for this restaurant anymore because I've waited over 20 minutes for an order and the staff are sitting at tables chatting up each other with no regard for the take out orders coming in. If you choose to pickup orders from this location, please do so at your own risk.

We started with the trio of dips: hummus, feta, and tzatziki, served with olives and their delicious pita.
