Having lived in this town over half of my life, I can vaguely remember eating here one time. For 15 years we lived 4 blocks away!! The kids said we had pizza from there but I don't remember! Yesterday we went for supper. Wow! I just had a simple side of spaghetti with a meatball. You can judge Italian restaurants by their sauce. Their red sauce is outstanding! It has the flavor of fresh tomato!! The meatball was a nice size and was excellent!! They have a great menu With a large variety of foods you crave!! The seating area is roomy with ample seating to accommodate the parking lot when it is full. And it was! There is also desert. The Al mmm one torte was original and not like all the other places have. And very important...affordable! With the cake it was just over $30. For 2 of us. Ty he staff was wonderful. last year I had poor- or really, lack of- service as the waitress didn't enter my order. Tonight I decided to give it another try as it had been a family favorite. A woman walked in wearing a tight tank top and then I realized she had a gun in a holster on her leg and a shoulder harness with a clip and second gun as well. She visited with a guy and went into the kitchen. My food arrived. The baked cheese and sauce looked hot and bubbly but the stuffed shells underneath were cool and definitely undercooked. The bread was so dry it must have been on a counter uncovered all week. i sent the food back and waited. Do I leave? Will a manager come out? well, $20 check paid for an uneaten meal (remember the gun girl spooked me?) and I sat in my car thinking, what a shame. i should have realized the quality went down after seeing the dirty facade. read more

I have always loved Yolanda's! I remember picking it several times for my bday dinner. I was at the Monaca location this week for lunch and realized I have never done a review. My go to is always soup either wedding or clam chowder with the gnocchis and garlic bread. It always tastes exactly the same...amazing! Updated because I do feel like this place tries to lie to cover themselves. No way possible is the entire store sold out of Sicilian pizzas only 2 hours after opening, instead you should have mentioned that nobody prepped, so that's why you're out. I prefer their round pizza & calzones more than anything. Good sauce and quality mozzarella. I had the chicken parmesan and it was good. My wife loves lasagna and couldn't wait to have it! But she was disappointed and did not want to send it back or express dissatisfaction because this is such a good place and good folks. I tried her lasagna and since it was meat intensive, the grease from the meat takes away from the flavor of traditional lasagna. But she loved the unsweetened iced tea! Let me say that the Chippewa Yolanda's is top notch! That being said, this Yolanda's is awful. I'm used to the Chippewa one, but have moved and now the Monaca one is closer and what a disappointment. The cooks are rude and do not care about how the food is served or tastes I got chicken gravy with my pot pie calzone and it was exactly like a cup of water, it looked and tasted like dirty dish water. I gave it two tries because I thought the first time was a mistake-clearly not. I couldnt believe they handed that out. After getting great food and service in Chippewa it was so sad dealing with the crap at Monaca. The servers are ok, but not great. They are not nice and they are not "not" nice either. In my opinion, the best pizza in Beaver County! You can take it out, but it is far more delicious in the restaurant. We've been going to this restaurant for over 30 years and it never disappoints. Ordered a to go order italian hoagie on Friday. Picked up the order. Took home to eat, and it was terrible. The meat burnt, the bun burnt turned soggy, and the hoagie had no flavor. It's completely different from the Chippewa location. I don't think I will be returning. read more

Disappointing experience to say the least. My family wanted deep dish pizza so we figured we would give yolandas a try since we've been getting their regular pizza for years. For 38$ we basically got two personal pan pizzas. Way smaller than thier regular pizzas and not deep dish whatsoever. My husband kindly verbalized his disdain with no resolution. Went down the road and ordered from another place. We showed them our pizzas from yolandas and they were so appalled they gave us our pizza for free. We tipped 20$ We love to support local and have no issue paying inflated prices but this was a joke. read more

I was looking for a really good Italian chicken Parmesan. I ordered take out and it smelled amazing. However, the pasta was very weird tasting. Almost like flour but it ruined the dish. The chicken was good though. Almost has a buttery taste but I need the pasta to compliment the chicken and it didn't do it for me. Service was great though. I went to this place because I saw it had really good reviews here and I was just really, really, disappointed with what I got. I got soup and a pizza. The soup was what they called "Creamy Italian Vegetable" Ordered a cup and the waitress instead came out with a bowl and told me to "do whatever i wanted with it." The soup literally looked and tasted like they dumped some creamy Italian dressing in a bowl and heated it up. It was absolutely disgusting. The pizza was edible, it could've been cooked a bit more but I'll put that on me. I usually ask for my pizzas to be "well-done" but I didn't here for some reason. Not the worst I've had, but definitely not the best. My experience here ended with me arguing with the cashier for a receipt (I was in the area on business and get reimbursed for food). I wasn't expecting super-duper authentic Italian, but i was just really disappointed with my experience here. During the pandemic we were tired of eating in and try to order from local restaurants in the weekends. I haven't been to Yolanda's in numerous years as I don't venture that way much anymore. Decided a pizza sounded good for lunch and remembered Yolanda's I haven't had a pizza from there in probably 10 years but remember really liking it. So I ordered a large pizza, half pepperoni and half cheese. They asked thick or thin. A dilemma...I like thin but my family doesn't. I guess thick. The car smelled so good with the pizza in it and the close to 20 minute drive took forever to get home. I opened the lid and was greeted with a huge pizza. They put a ton of cheese on it!! The slices weren't cut evenly but that's okay with me, I stole a big slice. It was delicious!! My wife and daughter ate one slice and were stuffed. My son who usually has a voracious appetite was full with 3. I would most definitely order from here again. I wish I took a photo of the pie. read more

This was a cute little italian eatery spot! Very small and cozy. The wait staff was quick, attentive, friendly, and knowledgable. We had the calamari appetizer to get started and it was good but a little on the chewy side. The sauce was homemade and delicious! My husband got the Chicken Parmesan and enjoyed the homemade sauce on it, the server also brought extra sauce. I had the shrimp alfredo and got it baked per the servers recommendation and it was tasty. There were only a few shrimps but they were fresh and cooked well! It was very cheesy! Hands down, our MOST FAVORITE casual restaurant! We have been going to Yolanda's for as long as they have been around and we have NEVER been disappointed. The deep dish pizza is our favorite (the crust is to die for), but we also love the pastas (try the gnocchi with vodka sauce), calzones (the chicken pot pie calzone sounds strange, but is amazing) and homemade desserts. Took a friend out who lives in Baden Pa for a quick bite. I am not familiar with the area at all, but this is just what we were looking for. This is a great little eatery. Simple ambiance but really good casual food with a friendly staff. The place was pretty crowded for a Sunday. My friend got the pizza and I got the Buffalo chicken salad. Again extremely simple dishes but both really delicious. Looking around it seems their pies are really popular and I saw some other dishes I would like to try. I don't think this place has ever changed, which probably makes it nostalgic to those who grew up eating there, but not so much to newcomers to the area like me. I don't need fancy, but I feel like it could use a few updates and a good cleaning. I have eaten here a couple of times and it has always been busy. I think I had to sit out in the "sun porch" area each time. I am patient so I don't find wait times that big of a deal. It's not a huge place so tables fill up fast. The atmosphere is "homey", yet always seemed chaotic as the kitchen is quite loud and the waitresses always seem hurried and somewhat stressed at least during my visits. I ordered lasagna and it came to the table boiling hot -- I couldn't even eat it for 15 minutes. I don't like my food scalding hot, but the other problem was the amount of cheese and sauce covering the entire dish -- way too much of both. I definitely didn't enjoy the lasagna and will not order any other pastas there again. However, I loved the calzone I ordered on a previous visit -- it was delicious. And a coworker ordered meatballs from there and they too were good. I don't love the sauce or the way pasta dishes are presented, but the calzones are great! read more

They easily sat our group of 9. My son had ravioli and French fries, and he ate all of it, which is a feat for him. I had the chicken salad. The greens and veggies were fresh, chicken was cooked just right, and the fries were crispy and tasty. Overall, an A+ salad. My friends all seemed very pleased with their food. One order of wings at the table caused jealousy as they looked and smelled amazing. We will be back for sure! Went to this amazing restaurant after my sisters graduation. All of the food we had was amazing. The house salad dressing is very different but very good!! The vodka sauce and Alfredo sauce hit the spot!! Their house marinated peppers are a MUST. They go great in a salad, on a pizza or a calzone, or just to eat!! Let me start by saying food was delicious... however the service was terrible. Miserable would be the best term to describe our waitress. She barely spoke to us... when asked for something she simply turned and walked away leaving us to wonder if she even heard us. I'll admit that I'm not a very regular patron of Yolanda's, but nevertheless, whenever I do make the occasional trip, I always leave satisfied. Their pizza is fantastic (if it weren't for Vesuvio's, Yolanda's would easily be my top pick for pizza). Their crust is soft and flavorful, the cheese is deliciously gooey, and their toppings are fresh and delectable. I also very much adore their spaghetti and meatballs and will actually almost always buy a to-go order of it to eat for lunch or dinner the next day. It is just as wonderful warmed up the next day. I've never had any issues with the waitstaff. No matter how busy the restaurant is and how few waitresses there may be on the clock, they are always prompt, friendly, and attentive. I always say I am going to try something new whenever I go in there, but never have, as their pizza never allows me the option, but my dining companions have always seemed pleased with their meals in the past. read more
