We've lived within about 10 minutes of this pizza place for three years now and felt it was high time we got there to try it out. We ordered a pepperoni pizza for takeout on a Saturday afternoon and it was ready 45 minutes later at the time we wanted for pick up. It probably could've been done even sooner, but we had called well in advance fearing there may be a bit of a wait. Our friends picked up the pizza and we met up for slices and games. The traditional crust was nice and firm but still chewy which made it easy to carry and eat while playing. Price for a large was ~$16 before tip and that seemed pretty reasonable too as the pizza fed 4 adults and 2 children. Definitely a place worth stopping in for a pie! read more

Loved it! I thought they only sold pizza but was pleasantly surprised to see some pasta dishes. I ordered one of my sentimental favorites which was invented by my mother. Not sure how Monti Cello got the recipe, but I'm sure my mother wouldn't mind. She was very giving. Service was quick, in fact, much quicker than they had told me over the phone. That's one thing I would change if I could. Portion size was adequate, if less than I have been used to at other locations. We have driven past Monte Cellos many times and then heard some good reviews from our neighbors so we decided to try it out. We just got a traditional large pepperoni pizza for take out and we thought it was delicious! They call the traditional a "thin crust pizza" and I definitely wouldn't define it as such--I'd probably just call it traditional--not thick but not thin. I wasn't necessarily looking for thin crust so it didn't bother me at all. I went with traditional after asking the person who answered the phone what the most popular crust style was. Overall, it was a great pizza and a place I'd like to go back to and explore more of the menu, but the first time I try a pizza place I usually get just a pepperoni to determine quality before I buy other things. I love their salads! This is a small and just perfect enough of a size for me!! TWO homemade ranches with this salad is almost unheard of for a small salad!! The homemade ranch is soooooo good. Absolutely love Monte Cellos, the cranberry location has been one of my favorites since I was a child and I was thrilled when they moved to Baden with some staff from cranberry so the recipes are all exactly the same. They finally added the Jimmy Mac as a specialty pizza as well and it's incredible! The girls working the counter are always very sweet as well! read more

This place is great! They helped pay the total when we cannot afford and got me a free sample of gravy. The service was top-notch as well. Please give the brown hair young women's with circular glasses a raise and promotion. They opened in 2020 and did not deliver so we never ordered anything. Recently I called to see if they finally had delivery and was told yes. I was dying to try the pizza and looking at the pictures on their website the Scillian looked yummy. We ordered the 8 pc. Sicilian, and the Stromboli. Sooo disappointed!! There was little sauce on the Sicilian, the sausage was very small pieces and so were the mushrooms. The sauce was terrible and had no flavor...... just like tomato sauce out of a can. The Stromboli was equally as bad. It was supposed to have 3 types of Italian cold cuts but it had maybe several small, skimpy pieces of meat. Also a couple of pieces of chopped tomatoes, too many onions and too much cheese. We had a couple of bites and ended up throwing it away. Everything we ate was downright terrible and we have no desire to give this restaurant a second chance. read more
